The COMMANDER said HE was on neither because as COMMANDER of the LORD's Army, HE came. HE is not of Israel's army must be enlisted in HIS cause HE is The COMMANDER not they. The significance is we as Israel must be on GOD's side. Joshua felt the Pressence of GOD. Joshua felt assured because he knew that GOD will be with him.

We are to allow the KING of Glory to be an intricate part of our being for HE is strong and mighty, mighty in battle and the LORD of Host. He is the FATHER of Glory JESUS CHRIST. The LORD of Glory JESUS CHRIST through HIS finished redemptive work at Calvery exchanged HIS righteousness for our sins. We have now seen or beheld JESUS finished work openly. HIS Glory revealed we are to become CHRIST like.... " I beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of GOD that you present your bodies a liviing sacriface, holy, acceptable unto GOD which is your reasonable service. And be ye not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of GOD" Romans 12:1-2 by allowing the Holy Spirit of the LORD to dwell within us.

HE is GOD above all, HE is so big He runs into HIMSELF! Only eternity is big enough to hold HIM, yet HE is Holy. In all that HE is HE is Holy. His word says be ye holy for I AM HOLY. This tells me I must strive to live a life pleasing in HIS sight, I am to study HIM and JESUS (our template), I am to Praise and Bless HIS Holy Name knowing when I praise HIM HE inhabits my Praises and Worship begins! I should not look at my circumstances and situations, I am to Look Up for my redemption is nigh.

There is none above HIM, He is El Elyon the Exalted GOD beside HIM there is no other. No one no other god can even approach is supremacy. HE is the Most High and GOD all by HIMSELF. When I meditate on EL Elyon I see Elohim creator of all. HIS magesty, awesomness,completeness, all powerful, sovereignty. I feel like a sand pebble in beholding HIM and as a mountain in HIS love. He is GOD all by HIMSELF yet...HE loves me, Hallelujah! HE Lovse me.

They both believed EL Elyon was the Creator of heaven and earth and the Most High GOD.
