David pours out his heart to the Lord, honestly and respectfully; he cries for help and comfort.
Always in the Lord, and the desire to be obedient, rather than in his own ability or wisdom.
No matter what our trouble or trial, it's always good to look back and recall the goodness of the Lord.
He strengthened himself by realizing: that God is his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble ;
By putting his trust and hope in the Lord ;
Waiting patiently and turning to the Lord ;
By acknowledging that God had delivered him from all his fears ;
By hearing his cries for help .
