  1. Q1. How does Job's vision of resurrection (Job 19:25-27) differ from the Jews' former understanding of death as Sheol? What is progressive revelation? Job's vision of resurrection sees life after physical death; the body lives again: his eyes can see the Redeemer. This is much more joyful and hopeful than the Jews' former understanding of Sheol where one experiences gloom and despair and no longer enjoys life. "Progressive revelation" is the Job's thought that there is life after the death of the physical body where one will, in the flesh, see God.
