to me this passage was a little confusing. The first part seems to be talking about the angels and all who are in heaven rejoicing in the Lord.The second talks about the commandments and how if we follow them we will be rewarded. I'm not sure what the common thread is. In the last verse David is asking theaqt what he has said be pleaseing to the Lord.

I think this teaches us about the awsomeness of God. He is mindful of such insignificant things as humans. He has made us great in this world. We are the highest beings on earth made just a little lower than the angels. He has given us an awesome reponsibility in taking care of the world and the animals He has put in it.
