  1. Q2. (Psalm 95) In Psalm 95 we are commanded to worship the Lord. What are the reasons why we should worship contained in this psalm? Why do you think the warning in verses 8-11 is included in this psalm? How does this fit with the earlier elements of the psalm? We should worship GOD in truth and and praising, because GOD is so good to us. He wakes us up every morning and He take the bad of our life and helps us to see that good in our life. Verse 8-11 tells us that GOD do not want us to harden or hearts, but by gentle and forgiving. The Bible tells us what is in a person heart will surely come out of their mouth.
  2. Q1. (Psalm 150) What does this psalm teach us about praise? Where should praise occur? With what should praise be conducted? Who should praise? What does this psalm make you feel like after reading it out loud? What does this psalm teach us about praise? It teaches me that praise means joy and celebration of Jesus Christ. It let me know that I should praise the LORD no matter what I go through because the things bad or good I go through it let me know that GOD is working in my life and I should praise HIM each and every day.Praise should conducted with joy, happiness to the God almighty. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Well to me everyone should praise the LORD if it is just for allowing them to wake up this morning with a sound mind and able body. This psalm makes me feel good about giving all my praise and worship to my LORD and SAVIOR Jesus Christ. Let me know that I love the LORD God with all my heart and soul.
  3. Q3. (Psalm 133) What about this short psalm seems to attract you? Why is "dwelling together in unity" so difficult? What kinds of commitments does unity require of us? How do the principles of unity and purity seem to conflict with each other? Why are reconciliation and unity such high values in Jesus' teaching, do you think? I believe it is difficult because many people do not know how to get alone. So many people want to backbite and do other wrongs. God prayer I know is for all of us to get alone because He said do unto others as you would want them to do unto you. To me the commitments that unity require is getting alone with one another, treating one another like you would want to be treated, I think the main thing that will create good unity is to stay into the word of GOD, have home Bible studies. When I first got married my husband, his mom, and I we stayed in Bible study and once we got out of it the Devil stepped in and began to work on us all. However, do know how to pray because prayer will get you through any and everything.
  4. Q2. (Psalm 15) The Wisdom Psalms are meant to instruct us. How would you use this psalm in your family to instruct your children? What topics of right living does it cover? I will use this to teach my child, nephew, and nieces that if they dwell with God they will enter into His kingdom, and to do this they will have to know that they can not lie, steal, talk about people, they should walk upright, do the work of the Lord. A person who is vile will not get into the kingdom of GOD. Let them also know that if they fear GOD he will have honor with them. The topic of right living it cover is that honesty is the best policy and a liar will burn in eternal fire.
  5. Q1. (Psalm 1). This short psalm seems to reaffirm what we already know: the righteous will succeed and the wicked will perish. Why do we need to be reminded of this? From an emotional standpoint, what lines in this psalm stand out to you. Why do you think you like them? I need to be reminded of this psalm to let me know that there are many people who are out there that is not saved. They will say things to upset you and get you to think that there is not a God, but I have experience first hand that there is a God because He came to me one night and saved my life. We have to know that the wicked is out there. We have learned that anyone who is wicked will not make it in this life nor the next, they may think they are making it but then they have to realized that GOD is always watching and they can not hide anything from HIM they may can hide from the world but they can not hide it from GOD. What stands out to me is that like I said in my answer I know there is a GOD and I know that HE can help me over come anything that comes up against me. I love the line that says the righteous will succeed. No person is perfect and if we say we are we are a liar, but however we should strive every day to be like Jesus.
  6. This psalm makes me think of my favorite scripture in Matthew 18:15-18 Mt 18:15
  7. Luke 17:5 that the apostles asked something of Jesus. "Increase our faith." They felt that if they had more faith, they could do what Jesus did. So they decided to go the easy route and ask Jesus to increase their faith. What better person to ask! Jesus was full of faith
  8. Q2. (Psalms 42-43). What is the psalmist feeling during this spiritual struggle? Like the deer thirsting for a refreshing drink of out The psalmist is feeling a thirst for the LORD. Knowing about water does not quench your thirst but drinking the water does. Same as us knowing about GOD is not enough we need to experience Him to really know HIM, and we should also seek HIM and He will satisfy our desire to know HIM. How does he combat his spiritual depression? He combats his spiritual depression by giving responses to three question. First one was asking why are he downcasted? second was giving instruction to his soul by saying "Put your hope in GOD", finally he declared what he is going to do and that is "Praise the LORD. If we do this and examine ourselves we can also combat the depression that we go through. Have you ever felt this way? How did you reach out to God at this time? Yes I have. I stop and examine my thoughts, my words, and what I speak. If I find myself out of GOD words I pray and ask for forgiveness of that that I have thought, spoke and the words that is not of him.
  9. Q1. (Psalm 27) What does it mean that David desires to "dwell in the house of the Lord"? What does it mean to "seek his face"? How does David provide hope at the end of this Psalm? David desires is that the LORD will be with him when evil comes against him, people do him wrong, and when any sin comes against him that he will be able to call on the LORD and the LORD will deliver him from whatever comes to devour him. David in this question is saying that he will do what it takes to see the face of our Father. He will do nothing wrong and if he do he is asking the LORD to forgive his. He will be working to see God's face. David tells us that if we wait patiently for the LORD for the LORD will come. He may not come when we want Him but He will come. He is also saying when people lie on you, scandalize your name keep the path of the LORD and He will deliver you from all that people lie and scandalize about you.
  10. I know that everything God spoke was created and made. God said let there be light and there were light so whatever God spoke it became reality. God work were showed by the fowls, sea, earth, stars and the creation of humanbeing and every other thing he spoke to be manifasted. also both speaks of the wonderful creation and law of the LORD. Make a long story short they are both speaking of the rejoice of the LORD. The psalmist bask in God's word by rejoicing and praising. Yes when they Holy Ghost comes upon me I began to speak and praise the LORD no matter where I am. I love praising the LORD and wanting so badly to learn more and more about Him. In verse 14 David is asking GOD to let every word be guided and lead by HIM, because if they words he speak is lead and guided by GOD then everything we speak will be perfect to GOD.
  11. This Psalms tells me that David was asking God to search and him and see if there is anything that is wicked, evil, or wrong doing in him that God would show him and clean him up. David wanted to walk in the right path of the Lord for he knows that the Lord knows everything about us. and nothing can be hidden from Him. God knows every piece of strand of hair on our head, so we should know nothing we do can be hidden so if we are walking in darkness we need to ask God to search us and help us get into the walk of the light. David wanted to be lead by God because being lead by God David knew would be the right way to go.
  12. This teaches me that God is above anything and His excellance is manifested by His works. And that God gave men dominion over everything in the earth, air, sea, also God name should be lifted high over anything and everything.
