  1. I still believe this is for us here on earth. I believe we are reigning now for we will reign which means we will be victorious, we will become stronger or more widespread, meaning that we are the elements of Gods Kingdom, we willl serve as priests, meaning we need to be set apart from the world, we need to do His will. We are Gods Kingdom here on earth for we submit to Gods rule in our lives, we have been reborn, I believe we willl reign now Kingdom of God, and we will reign in future Kingdom of Heaven which is present also for we are under Gods rule, and it is the hope of the future.
  2. I am going to have to do this one over, when I was answering this question I was thinking in the present time not future
  3. Q5. (Revelation 5:13) What is the significance of the same quality of worship being offered to both God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son? Their equally worthy of our worship What does this tell us about their relationship to each other? Their Father and Son Their relationship to us? Father and child The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one, after Jesus ascended He sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in those who believe, this makes us one also, for if the Spirit is God and the Spirit dwells in us then God is in us and we are one.
  4. Q4. (Revelation 5:10) How can our destiny as believers include reigning? By guiding others In what sense could we reign? As parents, friends, in our church, at work In what sense do we serve as priests? Through prayer In what sense are we a kingdom? By believing
  5. Q3. (Revelation 5:9, 12) What made Jesus so worthy of opening the scroll and thus bringing history to its consummation? His death and resurrection Why was this act so noteworthy and praiseworthy? For Jesus' sacrifice on the cross brought about redemption, salvation, cleansing, for all who believe.
  6. A Divine Majesty Father and Son are worshipped cause of who they are and what they have done (Creation and Redemption). Christ alone is worthy to judge the earth. Christ is a root of David, a Lamb, all powerfull, all knowing with all authority and perfection, we humble ourselves, worship, praise and give glory to Him, by prayer, singing and witnessing.
  7. I just want to say thanks to everyone, by honestly answering these questions you have helped me. I am going to try and take what I have learned here and apply it to the church I am now attending.
  8. For you conformed to the worlds standards, you became like the unsaved, You did not separate yourself from the world you slacked or compromised the truth. This is destructive for any Christian, for there is no loosening or compromise for a Christian, I feel if you do this you will lose sight of Jesus, you will lose your joy, and your interest in the world will increase, as the song goes "You can't straddle the fence".

  10. Hi:) It has taken me some time to answer this question I try to answer without looking at others answers, but after three days I decided to peek, and when I did I had seen that I had just went through a church possibly loosing it's first love:( This was my very first church I was a member at, I was so eager to learn, so excited to attend, but then something started to happen I lost that joyful feeling I had, I started coming home confused. My husband never went with me, he had been saved long before me but did not go to church. The Pastor came to my home four years ago, I was saved started going to the church was baptized with my son and I went every Sunday, just me and my son. What first happened as I look back is the Pastor took away the children, I loved sitting with my son and learning, but then my son was gone they started a youth church. And then I started to see when scriptures were being read a message was being sent but the message could have been different if the following paragraphs in the Bible were read, it was like something was left out but I dared not to say anything for I was a mere babe, then I started to see more talk of money, and numbers, and the word my church not Jesus' church come in the picture, I stayed for this was my first church, but down deep I felt something was wrong. I started to hound my husband, about coming to church with me for I sit in a pew by myself for four years I sit there I did move around after two years I started to introduce myself for I wanted to just sit and fellowship with someone but no one ever invited me to sit with them. The final draw was win the church decided to add on they are already big, ($30,000 a month, and two churches and a gym with kitchen and class rooms)so I called and asked what do you do for the poor in our community and they said fruit baskets twice a year, I decided to move on somewhere else for they had lost their first love and bringing me down too. GUESS WHAT? My husband is going with me I do not sit alone I have that joy back, Oh yes my son too, and even my granddaughter for I forgot to tell you another reason I left is my grandaughter makes noises like most babies but I was afraid we would be thrown out for not being quiet but the new church enjoys children. I do not know how a congregation that has lost this first love can regain it, it would take alot:)
  11. The answer to your question- Jesus- divine and human 14Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death--that is, the devil-- 15and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. 16For surely it is not angels he helps, but Abraham's descendants. 17For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement forF the sins of the people. 18Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. 5Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in very natureA God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, 7but made himself nothing, taking the very natureB of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-- even death on a cross! 9Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
  12. A. To know that Jesus is with the church B. That we are one with Jesus C. That Jesus is the head of the church
  13. A. For Jesus is now exalted . He sits on the throne B. An awesome sight, All Powerful C. For if we do not know Jesus we do not know God, Our Father.
  14. Christian persecution is Global, as I began to research this I found that "200 million Christians are persecuted, that we are the largest single group in the world being denied human rights on the basis of our faith" How can the book of Revelation be a comfort? If we have faith, then we have hope, and we know that Jesus will save us from the coming wrath.
  15. What does 1:8 tell us about the Father? First and Last-The Beginning and the End What is the importance of this? Shows that Jesus and God are One
  16. A. For it's through the testimony of John that the unveiling or revealing of Jesus Christ becomes known. This unveiling gives them hope and faith in which they are strenghened and encouraged. They know that God will be there, the church will win no matter how bad things are, God is there as is still today. B. For Jesus endured all the sufferings that come before us and overcame. Jesus endured the cross and we can be sure that our faith will be perfected in Him, Our eternal redemption is accomplished. C. Persecution can take the form of many things, not only one being a martyr, one can be treated cruelly or causing one to suffer. There are many ways one can suffer. "Blessed are those who are persecuted..." Pray that you are with out fear for God did not give us a spirit of fear but of love.
  17. Hi, I'm Julie, from Mt. Orab, Ohio. I was saved and Baptized four years ago, since that time I have been involved in several studies of Pastor Wilsons and have grown spiritually due to these studies. I want to encourage everyone to join in as much as possible. God Bless
  18. That we are all one with Christ, that is how I now think differently about my own congregation, used to I thought that we all were believers and saved, which is true, but, it is deeper then that, we are the body of Christ, so we all need to act like it, everyone has a purpose for the church. Even me:) We need to respect others believes even if they are differ than ours, if they are one with Christ, for if Our Father convicted you with something and me something differ who am I or you to judge. Thank You Pastor Wilson for now I know that it is the congregation that needs to be built up brought to maturity not the building, Someone said that "we need to have everything match, or we would not feel right bringing others here" as if they were ashamed, (we have been blessed for the church is fairly new, and the old church is quite beautiful, we even have a building with gym and kitchen, and soon will have a building for the buses) they were talking about the roof matching and the outside exterior matching one has brich the other siding one has metal the other shingles, this is not what matters it is the inside that needs to be built up, that needs to be as one. That needs to be brought to maturity so we can get on with our own ministry. I have signed onto places to work just due to the outside appearance but when I got inside I found the patience there were unhappy, neglected and even abused, it is the inside that counts not the outside.
  19. Does anyone know when the next Bible study is?
  20. We should love the church for it is Christ body and it is our body we are the bride. Despise which means to look down on in contempt-a lack of respect, to hate, see as worthless, to scorn. I do not despise the church, but I do feel I need to repent for I do not quite understand some things in the church and I pray that I will be enlightened.
  21. The church is glorious or resplendent for we are cleansed, pure, without sin, we are holy and blameless we are not condemed. Paul is talking about now for if not why did Christ give Himself up for her?
  22. The word sanctifies us it cleanses us for the word is the truth. The word should be based on the truth it should not be taken out of context, I have seen where a paragraph would be read, and the following paragraphs wouldn't, but if the other paragraph would have been included there would have been a slightly differ meaning. We should teach on how to love God and one another instead of scaring people.
  23. What constitutes Holiness of a Church? The sanctified and Christ Christ gave himself up for her to make her Holy, so, yes, we could not be holy without Christ and we are Holy through our own actions. Holy is dedication to God and His purpose and doing what is best which includes shunning sin. By respecting one another for we are one in Christ we wont be legalistic and judgemental and by submitting wilingly would be what pleases God.
  24. Gave Himself up-Christ done this willingly-know one took His life-He willingly gave Himself up for us, so that we may be as one as He is one with God. God is commited to be with us indefinitely- permanently without change. This was altruistic-unselfish
