  1. we are fellow citizens with God's people or God Holy ones. we have being adopted into God's family and members of God's house.
  2. Access to the father is important because it brings us to the father's presence, the most powerful force in the universe. we are not to deal with lesser beings but with the king of kings himself. there we can find mercy and grace in time of need. since we are now reconcile to God which means that we can now engage in mutual dialog and social intercouse with our Father is similar to having to having diplomatic relations. Christ through His body reconcile us to God and obtain peace for us and through Him gave us access by the Spirit Access to the Father enable us to worship Godn in His presence and in spirit and in truth and when we truly know him as the God of love, we can love our neighbours as well
  3. phesians 3:20-21) Where does God's power work according to verse 20? How much power is at work there quantitatively? Why isn't it more evident? How does exercising Christ's power on earth bring glory to God? Expositio according to verse 20 , God's power work in the belivers and in the church. the power of God that is at our disposal is super abundantly avalaible to the Church. but this power is limited to the level of our believe and faith system. and since we are running at a low level of power, what we see is a level of our faith in that power. when the Church is functioning at a high level of power, the Church will be able to perform her duties like healing the sick, deliverance and operating in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. this will bring glory to God and to Christ.
  4. Q4. (Ephesians 1:23) What does it mean for us Christians that Christ is "head over everything for the church"? What does this say about the Church's power? what it means for us Christians is that since Christ who is the head is our Lord and savior, then we do not have anything to fear because He is Lord over everything including angels and spirit beings and things on earth and in heaven. He is head over everything for the Church means that Our Lord intends to use the Church as a means to exercise His power and authority. what it says about The Church power is that the Church can experience the power of Christ to the extend that we are in tune to our Lord mission and purpose
  5. Q3. (Ephesians 2:6) From the standpoint of power, what is the significance of Paul's statement that "God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus...."? This is divine revelation, without sriptures we can never know who we are. it means that we share with Christ His spiritual authority and dominion over all spirit beings including demons and angels. if they are under his feet then they are under our feet as well. we do battle with the forces of darkness from a position of power being joint heir with our Lord Jesus Christ
  6. What is the significance to them of Paul saying that Christ is seated at God's right hand in the heavenly realms? the significance of christ sitting at the right hand of God to the Ephesians is that they may know the superiority of Christ over all other gods, in that Christ is enthrone with power over all rulers, authority and powers In what sense are these spirit beings and powers "under his feet"? to be under someone's feet is to be below them. Its a figure of speech whereby a conqueror put his feet over the neck of his defeated enemy.
  7. why does Paul pray that prayer 1. power in the church can only come to us through revelation 2. so that the believers might know the great power that God had for us 3. so that through faith and exercise of that power we might accomplish the task we are giving to do as Christ body on earth what is wrong with their eyes ? the eyes of the Ephesians believers is not open to the spiritual dimension of the power of God towards them. They are not aware of the great power they had in Christ. And also being from a gentile background, their focus might be on an idolatrous power According to Eph 1:19 the power is directed toward us or in us This level and type of power was demonstrated when God Exerted His power to raise Christ from the dead
