  1. How can prayer change God's mind without conflicting with the doctrine of the Immutability of God? Consistently pray according to the Scriptures, with Faith, Fervency and Fortitude, we can and will change God's mind. God has an indispensable duty to act upon His word. God promises and warnings are always conditional according to our obedience to his word. Can God answer a prayer for something outside of the scope of his will? No.
  2. How can a wrong understanding of determinism and predestination keep us from the kind of gutsy prayer that Moses prayed? Not understanding who we are in God would keep from the gutsy prayer that Moses prayed. Moses understood that that God had a determine plan and destination for his life and the children of Israel. Once, you understand that your predestination is earth first and your destination is heaven for all eternity. Then this would make determinism your path to live as God would have you to live. Obey the Lord! What do you call a belief that our prayers make no difference to God's response? I would say a lack of faith and unbelief.
  3. What aspects of Moses' prayer of intercession should we emulate in our own prayers? We need to emulate every aspect of his prayer which appeals to God's people, God reputation, a basic prayer and God's promises. Upon what logical grounds does Moses offer this bold appeal to God? His logical grounds where the promises of God which gave Moses the bold to ask for such a request. What do you think it means to "pray the promises of God"? How does knowing the Bible help you get your prayers answered? It means to pray the promises of God is telling God what he already said and restate to him as such. No one can argue or not honor they word when you tell them exactly what they said. They same thing goes for God. He hears what he said when his word is being said back to him, its a delight to him to hear it come from his children. How does this help our prayers be within God's will? This helps our prayer to be within God's will because we say what he said in his word back to him. Ultimately this is will for us.
  4. What had the people done that was so bad? Just as Moses turns his back to go seek God for instruction the people got restless and began to remember Egypt. They began to return to the worshiping of idols. They forgot just that quick that The Almighty God of Israel had not to long deliver them. How can a loving God be angry? Just as our loving God gives love, he also can become angry with his people. Just like I'm a parents so is God. We love our child but have no problems wanting to put a handle on bad behavior. Just as loving God he is so is the opportunity that he will give his wrath. He has no problems dealing with things that turn against him. Is God's sentence to destroy Israel and raise up a new nation through Moses justified? Looking at scripture God well in his right to destroy Israel and raise up a new nation through Moses because Moses was his servant and mouth piece to the people. God would have used him anyway because he chooses Moses for such a work. The people forgot that the God of Israel not to long delivered them and they were down there worshipping a golden calf forgetting the might acts the Lord, God has shown.
  5. Why should we continually ask forgiveness? How can unforgiveness on our part block God's blessing? How can unforgiveness block God's forgiveness? Repentence is always a good place to be which in turn gives you the liberty to forgive yourself and others. When you hold offense in your heart your block your chance of truly repenting and being set free to move, live and have your being in Christ Jesus. True repentence is key to continually be forgiven; it keep your blessings from being block and also it allows God blessings to be manifested in your life.
  6. Why do we seek to be independent of asking anyone for help? Why do we seek to be independent of God? We are taught to be independent as children by our parents, teachers, family and friends. So, seeking for help is the hardest thing for one to do even when we know the help is available. That's why it's a difficult time asking help from the Lord. All he wants is for us to dependent solely on him for everything. Why should we ask God to "give" us daily bread so long as we can earn a living for ourselves? "Give us daily bread" consist of instruction, wisdom and knowledge for that day. With these tools in mind you will have a very properous day. It prepares us for all unforseen danger that God will warns us about, decisions that need to be made and how to keep our joy, peace and happiness in this day.
  7. In what sense are we asking that the Father's kingdom should come? Why are we asking for the Father's will to be done here on earth? What he establish in the heavens be establish in earth. We are the door in which his kingdom comes in earth. In - inclusion, location, or position within limits On - contact with and supported by the top surface of By these two definitions with in/on gives this prayer two totally different meanings. I'm choosing in earth because that's what the word says and by the definitin of in makes more sense to see what God wants to happen. We need to ask for the Father's will to be done in earth because its in us that manifestation are seen. It's in us that God love and power is manifested. How should this prayer affect our living? The affect of this prayer should be the manifesation of thy kingdom come in earth and not on earth. This says Lord what you have shown me in communion with you I can now stand, make corrections, choose different answers and not be surprise with not so good things happen to me.
  8. What about our lives and words "hallows" the name of our Father? The totality of your life should always hallows the name of the Father. Everything we do, say and react sholud be holy for our Father is holy. With our imperfection or immaturity in Christ this might be a problem. As you walk this Chirst journey one should become perfect or mature which is a constant phenomena in our lives. Being made new daily which allows us to live and speak with holiness. What desecrates and besmirches it? When you live and speak contrary to the word of God. How should we "hallow" the Father when we begin to pray? Get revence to him and his sovereignty.
