  1. I prayerfully read all 3 psalms loud and for each verse upon reading and meditating on it, I glorified the Lord. I felt so peaceful knowing Our Father in Heaven loves us a great deal and we ought to serve Him with all our heart, mind and soul. There is none like HIM!!! I remembered the song of a praise and worship as I meditated upon this Psalm and prayed it out to Our Lord.......it says... There is none like You No one else can touch my heart like You do I could search for all eternity long and find There is none like You Your mercy flows like a river wide And healing comes from Your hands Suffering childer are safe in Your arms There is none like You I could search for all eternity long and find There is none There is none There is none like You JESUS, there is NONE LIKE YOU! I love you with all my heart, soul and mind. Teach me your WILL, help me serve you better each day! I praise the Lord for His presence amongst us as we live this life. Let us all prepare for His Kingdom by worshipping and rejoicing in His WORD daily! Thanks to Pastor Ralph for every study of the WORD that enlightens us about Him.
  2. Q3. (Psalm 139). In what way does the wonder of creation in the psalm seem to affect the psalmist? In his concluding prayer in verses 23-24, what does he ask God to do? In this Psalm, the intimate genuine love of God is seen as He so carefully created us in our mother's womb. The Psalmist speaks of the cautiously woven embryo in our mother's womb portraying a love so genuine that He maketh us and knows each of us although so tiny and unknown to the world. I see the Love of God so great for us and know how little we are to deserve His genuine love. But this same God has a plan to save us for eternity through His Son, Jesus Christ. He knew this tiny creatures He made is helpless without His intervention to save us by Grace. It reminds me of who I am and how He saved me. In the concluding prayer in Verse 23-24, we notice that the psalmist requests for God to search us, to see where our weaknesses are, to correct us by asking, and seeking God's humble guidance in where we may go wrong in our lives. A very good repentance and prayer of forgiveness and guidance to our God that we can follow in our daily lives to this Loving God we have.
  3. Q2. (Psalm 19) Verses 1 to 6 seem very different from verses 7 to 13, but there is a common thread that relates the first part to the second part. What is it? In what way does the psalmist seem to bask in God's Word? Have you ever felt that way? How does the psalmist's wonder in creation seem to affect him in this psalm? In the classic prayer of verse 14, what is David asking God to do? The first part of the psalm is seen to glorify the Lord through His perfect creation. To remind us of His greatness and His glory and splendour in His perfect creation to make everything perfectly right for us humans to live in. The second part speaks about a God who truly is fair, just, loving and kind o us, His creation. This also brings in a perfect praise and worship to the Almighty. In this life on earth, when everything seems not the way we want it to be, we do fail to see the greatness of the Lord before we actually drown in self pity of ourselves. I have had that experience where I did not look up to the Most Mighty God we have who waits to listen to us. We are His unworthy creatures that He so loves, and we must come humbly to the throne of the Lord, seeking His Love, guidance and His will in our lives. When we do this and always seek Him, He shall let His Will be clear to us and we are rid of those confusion due to our ignorance previously. David seems to humbly plead to God that His prayer be acceptable to the Most Magnificent God. It is to humble ourselves to the Lord, knowing we, unworthy as we are, have the grace to come before Him, to praise and adore Him in His glory and splendour.
  4. Q1. (Psalm 8). 1) What does this psalm teach about God? This Psalm tells of the Glory of God, the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth, and the beings. An All Knowing, AlMighty God who is rich in love for his beings. This is the most Magnificent, Honorable, Loving God we have. This Psalm brings glory to God. 2) What does it teach about human beings? How little and tiny we are compared to the Almighty Father who created us in his image, yet we are so much little and unworthy of the gift he bestowed upon us. We, the unworthy being loved and given the honor to care for the creation He made - the plants, the sea creatures, the animals He made on land and on air. That is our awesome God in His splendour! 3) What does it teach us about Christ? That Christ came in flesh to us - God made in flesh. So humble He came to us to restore us to live eternally with Him by grace and God's Mighty Love for us, who are so unworthy of His love! 4) What does it teach about our responsibilities? To care for the very beings that God put in our care, for those are His creation that deserves to be loved and cared for just as He cares for us. This mother earth and the creatures God created is our responsibility to uphold and care for it as much as we ought to.
