Q2. (Matthew 5:3-4) Why is it necessary to be aware of your spiritual poverty before you can become a Christian? What kind of mourning is necessary for a person to become a Christian? What kind of mourning is a common experience of Christians? (See Isaiah 61:2-3; Ezekiel 9: to reconize the wrong in your life, that you are nothing and have nothing in your life without the Lord Jesus Christ. Mourn over your wrong doings. When you have sinned against God, you mourn the pain that you have caused God and yourself when realize what you have done. And you know that you need to make it right in the eyes of God.

Just from reading all responses I can try to answer question 1)It tells who is being Blessed and then shows how they will be blessed. Being a semi new christian and hearing how this has been discribed by some of you, it just touches my heart and makes me hunger for more. I have studied the fruits of the spirits and this breaks them down and discribes what happens when you follow Gods word.
