  3. He didn't see into the spirtuals as Elisha did - His eyes were blind to what God was doing. He wasn't walking as close to the Lord. Elisha loved the Lord with all His heart, mind and soul. He sought after the Lord. His desire was to serve Him with everything he had. That is why he received the double annointing from Elijah. We must seek God with everything that is within us. Deuteronomy 4:29 But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. Ephesians 1:17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 1 Chronicles 28:9
  4. The Commander made known that He is the Commander of the Lord's Army. He was establishing whom Joshua served, himself or the Lord. Joshua immediately bowed and acknowledged the Lord as the Commander. The Lord then enlisted Joshua in His battle and made known the outcome. It was no longer Joshua's battle - but the Lords. Joshua recognized Him as Lord and submitted Himself under the His Lordship. He was humbled and gave Honor to the Lord. He was strengthened and encouraged for the battle, knowing the Lord would fight for him. He also knew the battle was already won.
  5. He is the King of Glory. He is an all powerful and an all consuming, God. Even His enemies bow before Him for they can not stand before Him. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Father of Glory. He is the Father of all. He represents the King of Glory and He is of the King of Glory. You can not stand before the King of Glory for His glory would consume us. However, you can stand before the Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory. For He has made a way for us. Hebrews 4:14-16 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed into the Heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast to our profession. 15For we do not have a High Priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. They are to be praised and honored above all. There should be a reverence and honor when approaching the Lord, we should be in awe of Him and His magnificance. And yet He is very approachable and can relate to our every need and want. 2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. Everyday as we set our face toward Him, we are being transformed into His image as we obey Him and allow Him to work in our lives.
  6. God Most High is to be exalted above all, He inhabits eternity and He is Holy. We are to lift His name high in worship and praise. Our words and actions should show that He is Lord of our life above all else. He inhabits eternity. He is everywhere. We can not escape His being. He is Holy and we should live Holy before Him. He gives us the power to live Holy with the help of the Holy Spirit and by His grace. I pray that everyday I will become more Christ like. That I will choose life and not death. By His Mercy and Grace, He will continually call me Higher and to live worthy of His name. In Jesus Name I Pray. Thank you, Lord that you have called my name and that you have and are redeeming my life daily. Ephesians 4:1 . . .then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.
  7. "Most High" means supreme ruler, He is the Most High God, above all others. All glory and honor belongs to Him alone - He is the Most High God. Worship is everything I do before God. Since God is ruler of all and sees all - then that is everything I do. Everyday, I will worship Him in what I do and say. I will remember Him as Most High God with His help. I will do all in excellence, giving Him the Glory. Passage Romans 14:11: 11 It is written: " 'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.' " [a]
