As christians who stand on the word of God ,, We automaticly become targets for persecution and mocking, often we are entangled in conversatins were we are verbally abused for our stand. rejection and animosity are common to us as we dont fit in the ideals of the unbelievers .and there ideals.. Yes they persecuted the prophets because they spoke the truth and the truth is the light of God and they still want the darkness where, there is no repentance,and comfort in the sin.. When christians expose the sinful behavior as sin persecution is inevtiable. Having recently been outcasted by my friends because of my stand for christ I have been targeted from every area , and found myself completly alone , . But have gained Christ we cannot confirm to this world our spirit , yearns for the things of God to discuss the things of God and just in this we become targets,, Being persecuted is painfulful , even from our family who may not be walking with christ, but we press forward knowing that the servant is not greater than the master if they persecuted him they will persecute us also,, A far cry from the prosperity gospel that is preached,
