  1. Jesus is the Lamb, and the Son of God the Father, and the second person of the Blessed Trinity, which is one. The fact that Jesus is seated on the throne, along with the Father, tells me that He is equal to God (being one) and hence is given due honour and glory for ever.
  2. The Lamb, the Son of Judah, the root of David, was the only one worthy to open or examine the scrolls. He triumphed because He was slain and with His blood He purchased for God those from every tribe and tongue, people and nation. He made them a kingdom and priests for God and they will reign on earth. He was slain to receive power and riches, wisdom and strength, honor and glory and blessing for ever and ever.
  3. The Lamb itself represents Jesus Christ, without stain, who shed His blood to save the new Israel from sin and death. It is the main title used for Jesus Christ in Revelation and used 28 times. Standing after being slain, indicates Jesus Christ rising from the dead, the Resurrection, after being crucified and dying on the cross. Horns, represent Christ's fullness of power. Eyes, represent all seeing, knowledge. Only Christ has all seeing knowledge. No.7, in the OT, represented perfection and completeness. Jesus Christ is the epitome of perfection, is all seeing and all knowledgeable, with the fullness of power to complete God's plan of salvation.
  4. Q5. When we celebrate the Lord's Supper we are reminded that Our Lord said one there will be a future Passover in heaven.
  5. It is important for us to have a clean heart when we receive the body and blood of Our Lord. He has taught us to pray His prayer: The Our Father, which asks for forgiveness of our sins as we have forgiven others. If we do not forgive others, then how can we be forgiven of our sins, and thus we are not worthy to receive Communion.
  6. We feel sorrow because we have Jesus, a man/god, without sin suffering a horrific death to cleanse manking of its sins. We feel joy because we know that Jesus shed His blood for us because he so loved us, sinful as we are, that he was willing to lay down His life for us to forgive us of all our sins. Medj
