It is important for us to ask for forgiveness daily.Why? Because we sin daily. No matter who we are or how long we have been saved we are prone to sin. Therefore, we all need God's forgiveness daily. I find it hard to forgive myself when my sins are every before me. It is only when I meditate on Christ and the Word that I experience freedom and peace in knowing that His blood has washed away my sins. If we don't forgive then God cannot forgive us. It is important for us to let go of those who have hurt us. If we don't let them go and forgive them we open up ourselves to a host of sickness and disease.

We hallowed God by telling Him how much we love Him. We also hollwed God by walking in His word of truth. We desecrate His name when we disobey His commands. We "hallow" the Father in prayer by coming to Him with a heart position of brokeness,contriteness,humility and true repentance.

We are in fact saying Father, let your glory cover the earth as the waters cover the seas. We are also asking the Lord to move upon the hearts of His people and cause them to go into the world and tell them of His soon return.

Allowing the light of Christ to be seen in your life daily by others is one way of Hallowing God's name. We hollowed God in prayer by giving Him the praise and worship that is due to Him. What desecrates the name of the Father, is when those who are called by His name say one thing and does another.
