  1. He gave Himself so that He can rescue us from our sins. WHen we believe that Jesus died for our sins it is then that He rescue us from our sins. When we continue to live according to His Word we avoid falling back to our old ways.
  2. The Lord has workers in s field who need to be fed from the tithes we give. Accepting God as our King we accept the responsibility of giving Him our tithes as allegiance to His Kingship and Lordship. As Christians today we still have to understand that God has His servants who need this tithes in order to support their families.
  3. Justice is righteousness, mercy is unmerited favour and vengeance is punishment. God punished(punishment) sin through His righteous(ness) Son who showed to us people His unmerited favour by going to the cross. God sent His righteous Son to come and punish sin through His unmerited favour by being hanged on the cross.
  4. It simply means that we need not say that God will Himself help the poor and then we just fold our arms and look. No! God ministers to them through us. We must always bear in mind that God is our Father and then approach His throne of Grace to hear what He wants us to do.
  5. We cannot describe God's moral uprightness and truthfulness because the degree of His uprightness and truthfulness cannot be measured. As such the bible tells us to imitate Him and also be holy as He is Holy. Ours is to try by all means try understand His righteousness through the bible and of course through the revelations in our personal lives. As such when we continue to live in Him and He is us, we must expect that His Glory will overcome us and fully become aware of His presence in our everyday lives. In that way we can be able to preach Him through His written word and through our lives. Our lives must witnesses to sinners through His glory in us.
  6. Isaiah feels guilty and not worthy to be before the Righteous One. He is afraid of the Lord because He is a consuming fire, He is God who is holy. So that He can commision him and take away the guilt in his heart. The Holy Spirit. He feels he can also be sent by God.
  7. weary, strong, faint. We get our strength to continue living from Him, God our Creator. He is our supplier when we grow weary. We are not strong because of ourselves but it is through Him.
  8. Lord, Rock of our salvation, God, King, Maker, Former, Chief Shepherd, seven names and titles altogether. We must come before Him with thanksgiving and praise Him. Because He is our God, our Shepherd, our Rock.
  9. It is the right of the Maker/Creator not to be questioned over what He has decided to create. We need to be agreeing with all that He has created on us and have reverence to Him irrespective of our situations.
  10. The clay or pot must and cannot second-guess the potter because its like the potter has made a mistake. It is telling God you forgot to create something on me which would have made me look better. It is highly unlikely that a real clay potter can talk to its maker, but we people do question God's decisions. Sometimes Christians grumble when they see calamity in their lives, when we see problems piling up, when our plans are not successfully carried out the way we plan, we start saying that God is not fair. We need to learn to ask ourselves: What would happen if one day the whole earth pots wake up one day and stand infront of people and argue their case? Won't we say this is really the end of the world? Of course because it is something that we do not think that it can happen. The same with us to God, He does not expect us to question His decisions and let's learn to accept everything that comes to our lives and await God's proper plan to take centre stage.
  11. David knew God even during his tendering of the sheep of his father in the veld. His conquests in detroying the lion and the bear that came to eat his father's sheep made him realise that he did not just do that in his own strength but by the power of the Holy God. Thus this inspired him to challenge Goliath, who in this case was a mere human being whom David despised also for his abusing the name of his God. As the Almighty God Who is everything, the First and the Last, then it really is a fearful thing to fall into His hands because His is a consuming Fire.
  12. It tells me: that if I go to the western side I'll come across the Almighty God. that if I go to the Eastern side the last I'll meet will Adonai. that if I go to the South there I will come face to face with El Shaddai even if I decide to go Northwards He is also there. This means that God is the First and the Last of everything. In fact to put it correctly He is outside the bounds of human imagination, He is not controlled and guided by man-made boundary, He is there above everything that man can see and touch. He is the Alpha and Omega, He is the last to every imagination, thought, or any intelectual thinking that may prop into the mind of man.
  13. Living eternally, without anything to worry about, with nothing to think of in as far as tomorrow is concerned. Joyfully enjoying the presence of the Almighty God, El Shaddai, Jehovah-jireh, Jehovah-Shamma. Oh! Halelujah! Praises unto Him now and forever more! I feel like jumping up and down all eternity, enjoying the everlasting daylight. Infact not daylight but rather His presence that shineth and maketh all saints looketh bright like Him!
  14. It reveals the Eternal God, Who has no beginning or ending but Who is Himself the Beginning and the Ending. It God the Supreme Being Who is above everything dead or alive, the Father of all of us. El Shaddai, Almighty God. To the Israelites knowing God would put them into a platform that would enable them to understand Him, be able to communicate with Him, fellowship with Him and also have an everlasting, intimate relationship with Him. On the other hand the idols they were living among them in Egypt are just but lifeless man-made object worthy of being trappled on.
  15. We need to be rest assured that we are on the Lord's side therefore there is nothing to fear, just put our faith in God Almighty that the battle is His He will fight for us. Being timid or fearful only let in the devil in our lives, but rather we need not fear for the Lord is our banner. We also need not to be forceful but rather wait on the Lord to act at the right time, He is never late He is always on time, we only mess up the Lord's plan through our impatience. There is no way the Lord can not fight our battle, of course if we move away from Him through our humanness.
