Psalm 8 teaches that God is majestic and powerful and worthy of all praise from all His creatures. The Psalmist seem in awe by the smallness of man in creation as compared to the vastness of the universe and the power that God bestowed upon us. Even though Jesus was made a little lower than the angels His status was exalted and He was crowned with glory and honor and given authority over the earthly realm.
