No one likes having flaws pointed out regardless if they're real flaws ornot. People get upset because most times when others judge and criticize, it is not done with a spirit of love and correction, but instead with one of jealousy, hurtfulness, etc. I reconcile final judgment with God's love for the world by believing that while He is a loving God, He is also a just God; a God who defends His children against Satan and his principalities of darkness. Final judgment is at the core of the Good News of the Jesus Christ because when Christ died on the cross, He defeated Satan and sin. There was victory! If final judgment is ingored it goes against the reality of Christ's death, defeat over satan and our salvation -- all which is promised to us in His word.
