I believe that forgiveness and obedience come as a package because if one is not obedient to God's Word then he cannot have forgiveness. I say this because God's Word says: to forgive so we can be forgiven. If one is not walking in forgiveness then in-turn he is walking is disobedience. One cannot half way obey God.
