  1. > If we do not let people know we are christians, that we are ashamed. Why would we be wanted in heaven if we are not able to shine here?
  2. 1.Some one that is living in a way that he/she knows is improper. 2.With out a doubt they would be able to detect de-salty symptoms. 3. they notice that you are living like they are., thus why should they change. After all, you both are doign the same things. 4. They see that you need help. You need prayers and maybe to be told about your saltiness. 5. Yes, repent. God will except you.
  3. 1. Christians are there to perserve the Word. To pass along the teachings of Jesus. 2.This world is a very bland place. We bring flavor. We bring out the good.
  4. In todays society we are wanters, we rarely are givers, unless around Christmas. Then everyone seems to be "in the spirit." How sad. People for the most part think of themselves and not how little acts of kindness could make someone happy. We think what could make me happy and then we shop.
  5. Sorry, if these do not have a Biblical basis, i answered them from my own POV. A. I believe you have to see how far you are in spiritual poverty you are before you can a Christian. For example, it is often said an alcoholic has to hit bottom. B. Looking back on my time as a sinner, I definetly believe I wasted a lot of energy. I am saddened how I wasted my life, the excuses I made. Looking back I am mournful for all the lost time. C. I mourn for the people who have not been saved, for the sins I see on a daily basis that is seen as normal.
  6. Hang with me, I am trying here. A. The person that will be blessed, and what gift they will receive for their suffering. B. When the sermon is delivered in paradox form it makes you break it down. I have read over Matthew 5:1-12 numerous times to gather a greater understanding. I feel like the first time in my life this is making sense to me. C. (Galatians 5:22-23) 9 Fruit of the Spirit which "taken together is a moral portrait of Christ" the same 9 qualities in the Beautitudes that we should have to enter the kingdom We should be Christ-like.
  7. Hi my name is Angel. I am 28 years old from Tennessee. I just recently started going back to church, after losing my mom. I am married to a wonderful man and we have an energetic 2 year old son. My friend told me about this site, I am excited about learning more.
