Knowing that the Lord is battle is His gives me strength to know that we have won the battle over Evil and that we must follow the Lord and let him battle and we must follow his Battle plan. To be lazy and not vigilant will cause us to not see the battle right in front of us and we will be taken down or fight the wrong way. So again we must have faith in Gods battle plan and battle according to his plan not our own. The Lord will not battle with us if we are stubborn and chose to go it our own way and battle for our selves, though if we come to him and accept his battle plan he will fight for us if we humble our selves and put our Faith in Him and Him alone.

It was a symbol to the Armies of Israel that as long as the Banner was raised (the staff of Moses) they knew the Lord was there with them. It was a sign a symbol of the Lord being with us to do battles with us against small enemies and then against even the hardest enemies. His word is our banner that it shows us what he wants from us and gives us guidance and strengthens us as we know he speaks to us through his Living word and guides us.

This is the battle he must win alone that he may conquer the evil one and destroy Sin for all mankind. He must take all the Sin of the world on him and be the Savior for all so that we can come and be with God in victory over Sin through Jesus

His faith was in the seen not the unseen realm of the Lord, His spiritual strength in the Lord was not as strong as Elisha

That he wanted Joshua to know that he needed to follow His Plan that is right and true and not the plans of men. That his plan will bring victory and that we need to follow him with faith and not despair. The significance of this is that we are shown that we must accept the Lords plans as they are right and it all happens in his time. Humility and Love for his Lord knowing that he will be with him and if we follow Gods Plan we will have Victory. Encouraged and strengthened in his Faith in the Lord and what the Lord will do for all those that trust in his plans.

These titles tell that he is the he is the Higher than all things and that he is Glory and he is the one that we should praise and love. King of Glory and Father of Glory shows that he is all things and is beautiful and is the King of all. These things have shown me that I need to put my faith in him and to praise him. That he will use me to bring him Glory as we are to bring Glory to his Name as he work through us to help us better understand him and that he wants to make us more like him if we are willing to accept him and let him use us to bring Glory to his great name.

This whole passage and just the first line along High and Lofty one who lives in eternity. This fills me with a humble spirit as He is so powerful yet wants to save me and wants to have a relationship with me. That he wants to live with me and save me makes me sad that I have in the past thought that I was the better and yet he has shown me that he is the one in control of my life and that he is my shelter and my rock to stand on and my shepherd and savior. High and Lofty shows that he is above all of us we should above all things exalt him and praise him and bring glory to his great name.

Most High Lord of all Lords I see that he is the Lord of All, My Rock, My shelter, My Deliverer. My Savior and the one that shares his Grace to all of us. Most High means he deserves my love, my worship, my praise and for me to serve him as he is all these things and more. It is hard to put any one word or name to the Most High as he is so much and I need him more and more every day. I need to think of him all day and every second as he sheds his blessings upon me and they are so many. I will look to the Most High in all I do and praise him and think of him with all my Heart, Soul, Mind and Body. He deserves this as he is the Most High creator of all things.

I feel that Both Abram and Melchizedek believed that there God was the creator of the entire universe. Also that he is to be rightfully praised and thanked for his blessings. Also that God is the Lord of all and thanks for his blessings he gave them by giving back to the Lord Most High by serving him and Giving to the lord what was his by tithing and praising him.
