  1. God wants all of His creation - all of His people to share in His household, to be one family - loving and caring for each other. The nature of the church should show that we are all of one body - of one household - a part of one God, who made us all! The local congregation should be on one mind to love the Lord in praise, worship, and service. We should love each other and uphold each other - serving God's will and led by the Holy Spirit - no bickering, judging, back biting. "Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on me........make me, mold me, fill me, use me" Be of like mind, following the guidance of the Holy Spirit, doing God's will, not our own! We are all family. One must learn to love each other - understand each other - work as a family to show God's love to the world. If one is a Christian, one is a member of God's family and must be faithful to Him, gathering with other family memebers in the household of God to do his worik!
  2. we are all citizens of the body of Chirst - of His household - one church of Jesus Christ So we are no longer foreigners to each other. The Holy Spirit brings us together - helps us understand each other - makes us one - all being the children of God whom God wants for His family. The Holy Spirit ios in this world working through us. We need to acknowlege His presence and use Him! We are all Holy under Christ's redemption and grace. Jesusmade us one with the Jews, one family. The Jews had been God's Holy people. Jesus died that all who believe might be saved into His household - Jew and Gentile alike. Only HIs grace can make us one. We may share in God's promises if we only believe. We are all Holy in His sight.
  3. God created the world. He named the Jews as His chosen people to whom He revealed Himself. But He wants all fo His people to come to Hijself. And to do so me must all have access to His. We must be able to come into His presence - to approach Him and commune with Him. Diplomatic relations allow different gov'ts to come together - to understand each other. Likewise, We, as Christ's people, must all come to know God and understand Him, as much as we mortals can. We must be able to come into His presence. We can do this, both Jews and Gentiles alike, through the Holy Spirit whom God sent to help us! We are charged to love the Lord OUr God with all our heart, strength and mind. We must know Him in order to do this. We can only know God's full majesty with the help of the Holy Spirit. We need help to love everyone, even our enemies, to love our neighbors as ourselves.
  4. Christ is seated at the right hand of God: every being, every creature, every spirit is beneath Him, beneath His feet! There is no title that is over Him! He rules the whole world, the whole universe - all that is in creation here and beyond! The church is His body, broken for us that we, too, would have life and power to do His will. We have the fullness of life in every way! This is the truth. We have only to believe! Praise Him froj whom all blessings flow!
  5. Our Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross in order that we might live, that we, too, could have this mighty, incomparible power open to us! All things are open to us, are possible to us if we only would believe!
  6. The church is Christ's body - the very fullness of Him who fulfills everything in every way. Christ is the head of the church - His church - Christ's church. No denomination has the chair at the right hand of God - Christ does! Christ has the supreme power even today. All we have to do is ask!
  7. I'm Jeanne Jones from Greenville, IL Q #5 Christ's power works in US! Chroist is able to do more than we can imagine - more than we can think of to ask - and all within us. We do not ask for or implement this power. It ois already their for us to use. We must give Him all praise and honor and glory. He has the power to make all things possible. Not our will but His! Not our doing but His! Christ, alone, gives us power to do all things according to His will! We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us! We can meet all challenges when He rules our lives!
  8. The Ephesians were living in the world. They hadn't an inkling of the awesomeness of the power of God. God's power is beyond the imagination. It is totally without price. And it cannot be earned. It is a gift from God to all who would believe. It operates in all of us. Paul uses the resurrection to show the strength and level of God's power. God raised His son, the Christ, from the dead and set Him up at His own right hand to rule all the Heavenly realms - with all authority, power, dominion and strength.
  9. God's incomparable power is available to US who believe! The people's eyes were closed to the reality that they, too, could recieve this mighty power. WE must open our hearts and minds to the Holy Spirit. God's power can operate through us! He promised! This power was manifested in Christ when God raised Him from the dead and seated Him at God's own right hand in the Heavenly Realms!
