Jesus died for our sins, and we are responsible for His death. We are born in sin. Our sins had to be paid for and Jesus had to concur death for us to live forever with Him. God's holiness required Jesus to die for our sins. The person most responsible for Jesus death must be Adam. Adam is the first man where sin originated. The sin are transfered through the bloodline of Adam to us. As Jesus was born from the virgin Mary without the intervention of a man it meant that Jesus was free of sin. Only a man free of sin could die for the sin of man. That man was Jesus the Son of God. He is asking His Father to forgive us for our sins that we do knowingly everyday. We should therefore strive to overcome sin every moment of the day if we love God. His love for us is so great that he gave his Son for us to live, without us understanding and comprehending what it really means.

I love the Lord and as child and young adult could not understand why he has to put you through trials and test you. I remember days when I tried to do everything on my own and only when it seemed to go terribly wrong go on knees to pray and beg him for forgiveness to make it right. The trails on my path has changed me and my view about those I love. Today I am different person that still need to be humbled. I did when I was young let Satan to make me believe I was bad and will never be freed from sins. But the Lord is merciful and help one start realize how much he loves you. When things get hard the only way to get through it is to look at yourself and how you allowed yourself to get in a mess and in my live it was normally when I did not allow God to lead me. Through the mistakes he helped me to be a more refined person and to get to know the Holly Spirit.

Hi I am Wendy. I have read the book of James many times and always when I need to read the Bible I am searching I go back to James. I am looking forward to read and study James. James 3:1-12 is one of the passages in the Bible that has given me direction to keep my tongue quite and in control although it is the most difficult thing for me to do.
