  1. "Husbands love your wives as Christ loves the Church," a command given for a husbands towards their wives .Since we are the bride of Christ which is the Church then we must guard that bride which is the body of believers .In order to accomplish this, we must love each other as Christ loves us .We must be so unitied in love and faith,so bonded in love and faith that as one suffers the whole body suffers and if we all part take of that suffering ,then that love bond will see victory over any abstacles that befalls the body. The Church is the body of Christ and we must guard that body by our faith and love for one another ,and the gates of hell cannot and will not prevail.
  2. The purpose of body buildings to equip and send out .To impact the community you live in and to spread out into the surrounding areas to witness for Christ. Not only to inpart in that limited area but in the world
  3. Future leadership are not grown in seminaries and Bible colleges ,but from the congregation .Our churches are rich in potential leadership ,but they must be discerned ,trained and then after training should be released.Every one in the church has a role and function that he are she is responsible to fulfill. Lay persons in the congregation are no less important then the senior pastor ,but thier roles within the church are different. Lay leaders are someone who is not a paid staffer but has a role within the church and also has a job in the secular world. The church must eguip i'ts members to function in unity .A healthy church who utilizes it's body to handle the small things, there by allowing the pastor to take care of the things that are pressing ,will prevent burnout. The pastor should equip then release his people.trusting them with the small things s that he may be a more effective shepard.
  4. The builder of a structure must first build on a firm and solid foundation before starting on the building The apostles and prohets of old started with the foundation and have left behind that blue print which is the scriptures . Jesus is the greater part of that foundation because He is the one ho called them and commissioned them to continue building on that foundation . We as the body of Christ must continue with that great commission joined together to form a firm and solid building .
  5. We are fast becoming like the world. We no longer believe in spiritual things like the people of old, especially in the area of the power that has been given us in the body of Christ the church. We are somewhat like the Ephesians. We put our trust in things we can see.Because God does not move like we think He should ,some people believe that the God of old is just that and something to read about ,but we fail to have faith to believe that His power is still in force and it has not changed .Today we have that same power that the early church had but somehow we are not able to fit Him in this time and age. So we become powerless to do what He has commissioned us to do ,powerless to exsert our authority that was given us through Jesus.
  6. On Christ the church was built He is the chief cornerstone solid and true.In Him the whole body (the church is builded on.
  7. We have power which was given us when Christ was raised from the dead .Christ sits at the right hand of God the Father, therefore if we are in Christ we are seated with Him. In other words if we abide in Him and His word abides in us, we have the same authority to do mighty things here on earth in His name.
  8. I believe that we do not see the power of God in our churches because we have not gone through the presecution the early church did .As a whole we have experienced a freedom to worship and express our beliefs freely, therefore do not understand the power (spiritual power) that we have.In order to manifest that power we must become humble trusting not in ourselves but in an eternal God ,and that can only happen with knowledge of who we serve .I think all believers need a new approach .We need to study Acts over and over .Many of the men who witnesed the miracles of Christ, in the end many faltered ,but those who were stedfast became bold .As they became bolder the annointing power began to flourish in their witnessing and many believed. Peter's witness was so poweful that when he came by those who needed a healing his very shadow healed those who came near him.We have that same annointing today but we need the faith to believe in a Jesus who came that we might have that power to do the exploits the early Apostles did.
  9. Members of Gods household is a body of believer's in our surrounding area who are knitted together to bring about the glory of God.As a body with many parts, separate in differents gifts and annointing .Each person functions as part of the body meaning the body cannot move unless the feet are connected to the body and the body cannot respond unless it recieves a message from the brain telling the feet to move. The brain must then inform the muscles and tendons etc. to prepare to move. The same with the body (the church) the body is connected in such a way that we must all be one accord in order for us to the function in the way God wants us to move .
  10. Diplomatic relationships in the political arena allows for two or more countries to sit down at a table of discussion to air out there differences etc. And they must go through a reliable source.:We have somewhat of the same thing with God through Jesus Christ "however where as the diplomatic government must go through another source to have a voice we do not, because that has already been made for us .And so we can now go boldy to the throne of grace and recieve directly from our father .and that was made possible only by way of the cross.
  11. The Ephesians spiritual eyes were shut to the gospel until Paul reveal to them that the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus had given them the faith to believe. Before that they were accustomed to believing in things that were tangible and had not the full concept of the atonement.
