1). I consider such Christians as having misplaced priorities. They might be even thinking that they can attend to the God's kingdom work at a later date. If they listen, they can be softly advised. They do not realise that being pre-occupied with this world totally, makes him loose sight of Lord's calling. 2) Yes.I was in this position too. Totally pre-occupied with my work and the society around. 3) Lord himself has given me the chance to assess my position and make a turn around into his love and thereby into his work. Being obedient to the second chance given. Enjoying the study of his word and company of saints. All the time seeking the fellowship of Jesus Christ wth the help of Holy Spirit.

I continue to live for Jesus Christ, working through the promised and now given helper the Holy Spirit. Because, I have lost many years without a deep study of the holy scriptures, I take every opportunity to delve into the scriptures to get know, more, what the Lord has for us in them. For example the present study of Revelation is wonderful experience for me in the Word, in extending the horizons of my knowledge of God's plan for the end days. Whether Lord is coming now or later, I want to continue this fathful run. However I try to reach ,within my means to help the unreached and the unsaved, with the help of Word and Prayer. AMEN

I Corin 6:11 " and that is what some of you were. But you were: 1) wahsed 2) sanctified 3) justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the spirit of our God. " We were sinners but we are redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ, into holy living. We have been shown the WAY, to live a holy life wothy of the calling and the promise we have in Jesus Christ. So let us be watchful every moment and continue to run the race till the Lord takes us into His eternal kingdom.

" Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spirutual blessings in heavenly places in Christ, according as he has choosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before him in love" (Eph 1:3,4) ".......redeemed us with the precious blood of Christ" Eph 5:25,27 " Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it .... that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having a spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish" Lord Jesus Christ looks upon his church, his bride, for which he laid down his own life, as pure and wholly acceptable, to have everlasting communion.

Jesus always promised, everlasting life to all those, who accepted him and came to him. In John 4:14, he promises the Smaritan women the everlasting life with his thirst quenching water, only he can give that is his WORD. Jesus also promised the overflowing presence and manifestation of the Holy Spirit in all those that come to Him. ( John 7:38). Such was God's great love towards mankind, that he maintained this invitation all along. 22:17, Here,Jesus is once again revealing his concern for tha lost souls by inviting , whoever desires to come and to partake in the pure river of water of lfe(22:1), symbolzing the new covenant ministry of the Holy Spirit and his gracious offer of The Holy Spirit.

God himself has been preparing for long, this new, glorious Jerusalem, for his people and him to have that , inimaginable and wonderful fellowship! We are going to live in this Jerusalem, in our transformed bodies, in which God has His headquarters now! It is beyond our comprehension, what is it to be citizens of this city, in which God himself stays with us and rules righteously.

I am a born and born again christian , living in the body of Christ,actively participating in the corporate worship and trying to live a life acceptable to the Lord. However all this does not give me the total assurance about my name in the book of life. It would be only by the grace and love and the redemtive power of the blood of Jesus Christ, that assures me of my salvation and inclusion in the book of life.

Many of us, human beings, living as good citizens in our contemporary society are proud that we never had to face a judge or judgement, for any crime or omission that we have committed. But this judgement before the great throne of God by the Omniscient God, is so frightening because, eventhough we are sure the the Lord has lovingly wiped away all our sins, when we accepted him as our personal Savior,still to be exposed before all the people and being directly judged by the Omnipotent himself. And that is final for me and all my dear and near. However our Lord has sifficiently forewarned us, showed us the provision He made for us to reconcile us, sinners, with Him.

' King of Kings and Lord of Lords' to my life, is to surrender all my thoughts and actions to be acceptable to the Kings rule, in each and every aspect of my life. As I am in this world, I strive to represent and follow the King's guidelines when I interact with the world.

Philippians 2:12-13 ".......Continue to workout your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. Psalm 2:11 "Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling." I see that, I should live this life worthy of our Father in heaven, so that on that day I can rejoice with him. I need to take periodic self-examination if I am living and serving him as a true christian. I realise, I fail often, but I continue to strive with the help of Holy Spirit, to correct myself and furhter live for the glory of my Savior.

God's invitation to come out of "her", is typical of loving God in His call to sinners of all ages that they turn to Him, which is repentence. Unless we are in this world, yet living purely, we can not witness to the lost souls. And our Lord asked us to do so and we can only witness with the help of the Holy Spirit. Even one soul saved is precious to God.!!!!

It is said that our sincere adoration and songs of praise and worship, rise as a fragrant incese unto the Lord, acceptable to him. God rejoices and dwells on the praises of his children. These worship songs and chouruses, already given by many of dear brothers and sisters above, must always dwell in our hearts and on our lips. Thus we will able to have continuous communication with our God and at the same time be able to keep away the enemy from any of his attempts to tempt us. We see again and again in the Revelation we are studying, how the Lord is being praised by one and all in his heavenly court.

God in his infinite mercy and love for his children did , what all he could do to get his people back to his fold, even to the extent of sacrificing his son Jesus Christ for saving us from eternal damnation. Inspite of this many people rebel agaist the almighty God and his provision for salvation and eternal life with him. It seems as though those people are knowingly and wilingly choosing their path to eternal punishment. Our God is a zealous and righteous God, and He can not keep his faithful together with the rebels, sinners and scorners.

These 144,000 Christians set up an example to all of believers, how to keep ourselves pure and what qualities and beliefs render us to be with our Lord and King Jesus Christ in his heavenly fellowship and follow him wherever he goes as his entourage and praise team. May God give us all the wisdom, faith and courage with help of Holy Spirit, to go through the persecution on this earth for his name sake and enable us to be in that group acceptable to Lord Jesus Christ.

Antichrist. In 2Thess 2:1-12 we learn that the secret power of antichrist is already at work, but the Holy Spirit has been holding it back. The moment Holy Spirit stops restraining, antichrist will start his rebellion, with all the power given unto him by the Dragon, satan. He exalts himself above God, sits in the temple as though he is God. "Who is he a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is Christ? He is antichrist that denieth the Father and the Son." 1 Jn 2:22. He will be the most powerful and perverted man to walk on the paths of the earth. He briefly rules over all the nations but he is utterly crushed by the Lord Jesus Christ at the battle of Armageddon. and thrown into the lake of fire, along with falseprophet. False Prophet: False prophet is the other beast coming out of the sea, tries to copy the work of the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit leads men into truth while the falseprophet leads men into all types of error and sin. He tries to make the inhabitants of the earth worship the first beast, the antichrist. He also tries to put the mark of Satan 666 on the foreheads of people. Yes, now and in the end days, we have to test everything by the WORD of GOD and fall down only before Jesus Christ and worship HIM . Aboveall ask God for discernment with the help of Holy Spirit, against the works of satan,

All those Christians who do not fall to the guiles of the wicked one and stand-up and testify for Jesus, in the face of exterme persecution, even unto death, are the OVERCOMERS. The very fact the Satan could not take hold of us is victory for us. We get the power to stand against Satan, only because of the covering of the, all powerful, bolod of the Lamb of God. " Would you be free from your burdenof sin? There's power in the blood, power in the blood, Would you over evil a victory win? There's wonderful power in the blood"

It is the same struggle between good and evil, God's power and grace versus the wickedness of Satan. Satan though he knows that he will ultimately can not match the excellence, majesty and power of the almighty God, tries time and again to capture as many people as possible by trickery and deception, even, force towards the end. But it is reassuring to note that God himself will step in to protect and empower the "remnant of her seed", His choosen and the promised Israel.

Chap 11:1-14. The ministry of the two witnesses is to boldy prophesy for the Lord in the face of so much persecution. To show the people the power they have from the Lord, till they finish their testimony. We believers of this generation also have to boldly standup for the Lord, against all the practices of this world, in whatever situation we are in. We are not to conform to the practices of the heathen. We see that their reward is triumphant resurrection, defeating death in their own example, accomplished by Lord.

Lamb of God, our Saviour Jesus Christ initiates this end time destruction, at the end of his grace period and it s directed towards all the people on the planet earth at that time. He is just in this action, because He has given the human race so much of time and opportunities to repent and become His children. The very fact He has made known these facts in advance to us, is the proof of His love for us, that we should not be lost.

Jesus is God,was from the begining and is always worthy of all honor and praise. He is the embodiement of God's love for human kind. And Jesus is alone wothy of opening the scroll.

These churches are in the very infancy of chrstianity. Some of the are contemporaries of Christ and might have listened to the personal witness of desciples and Paul. Yet they decided to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ in the face of so much opposition, oppression and persecution. With the help of holy spirit they are able to overcome all these difficuties, but were drawn into the existing pagan practices. Their hearts have changed and are for Christ but they had to overcome so many local practices and diversions, because they are also part and parcel of the society there. Still many of them stood firm for the Lord and his love. How many of our christian brothers and families are going to actively participates "halloween" this year??. Those early pioneering churches have been commended for their labor, patience, not bearing those who are evil, testing false apostles, withstanding tribulation and persecution holding fast to Christ and showing love in their daily life and in the Church.

Many shephards of the local churches are dedicated, nurturing, caring, biblicaly knowledgeble and God fearing, prayerful and take good care of their flock. But when the question of finances set in and controlling spirit creeps in the churches and their leaders, loose sight of Lord's purpose for the Church, their attention and ferver gets shifted and apathy for the Lord takesover. Some members hang on inspite of decreased or low spiritual feeding and activities, but others move on to greener pastures. We should be constantly praying for our pastors and religious leaders, so that God would use them mightily for his kingdom on the earth.

Pagan religious practices are more prevelent in bussiness organisations and even in Government departments, in countries where non-christian religions are a vast majority, especially in devoloping and under devoloped countries, eventhough some of them are technologically advanced and export skilled professionals. Many christians in these countries keep away from such practices, to the ire of their colleagues, sometimes impeding thier own growth in the organisation. Party drinking, smoking, eating foods offered to other so called Gods, accepting anything symbolic items from those religious practices are some of the evils. We can with our love for our soverign God and with the help of holy spirit, can resist such participation, stand firm and defeat the devil.

I know a guy, who is at a considerable high level in his organisation, who is very friendly and helpful, but whose colleagues dare not utter a bad word or make sexy joke, in his presence. That is the level of seperation our God desires, from all of us his children in this world. It not possible to witness to our Lord, if we become one among the world. That is where satan would like to hit us hard , the flesh. Strong Biblical foundation to us and to our children, to our infants, can only make us strong to withstand the onslaught of the present day society morals. Above all coporate prayer, the only resort !!
