  1. In your own words what does it mean that Christ didn't cling to his equality with God?

Jesus always gave God, His Heavenly Father glory for every word and deed. Jesus is just fufilling and obeying the Words and Commands of God.

How specifically does this passage teach that Jesus is divine?

Jesus does not compar himself to God because his Father is the Creator of all things.

  2. To achieve unity in your congregation, why is humility necessary?

In order that all be as brothers and sisters in Christ. To share in spirit, affection, and compassion

Can you give an example of how lack of humility caused a division in your church?

Members became hostile towards one another. Some thinking because of social and financial status that they were better than anyone.

What are you doing to bring unity in your church?

Continue spreading love, compassion, and the word of God. Do not get personally involved because if there's a personal problem it should be handled and settled between the parties that are involved.

  3. Fear can keep us from being a bold witness. It can even make us ashame and that is because of Satan. Most are too afraid to witness for fear of what others will say or do to them. We are just too busy worrying about what others think and say that we forget that it is God who we are to please, not man.

Because Jesus Christ suffered and died for us because he loved mankind.

I am proud to testify that I do not have any fear of serving and witnessing. I have a fear though that because I am human that I will make a mistake and make God unhappy but one joy I have is that he knows my heart and will know that nothing would be done intentionally.

  4. Because by going through personal struggles, stress, and problems you put those things in God's hands and ask for his guidance and since you have been in God's hands, those problems were worked out, therefore, you can witness and testify how God works.

Because Paul had faith and be believed. He asked God for help and he received.

Going through serious health problems and even though I am in constant pain day in and day out, God has given me the strength to go to every Bible Study, Book Study, and Services.

  5. Hello my Brothers and Sisters in Christ;

My name is Celia and I live in Ohio. Have been a member here for quite sometime and I truly and deeply enjoy all the studies that have been presented here. I have not been able to come here as much as I would love to because I have and am very ill but I do my best. I truly love studying the Bible and I appreciate everything that I have learned and continue to learn.

    God Bless You All.

  6. Being selfish and having bitter envy means that you have envy for what someone else have and you want it. Being selfish is that no matter who you hurt you are going to go for whatever it is that you want regardless of anyone's feelings. With these things you are showing that you have no humility for anyone and not even for yourself. This goes against what God and Jesus Christ has taught.

  7. Brings heavier judgment and since we are human we can stumble at anytime, no matter how strong our faith and belief. Great strickness is a must if we are to become teachers of the Word. We must be clean and pure in heart and live and obey the commandments that is required of us. Higher standards for pastor is a must. He /She is the Sheperd and congregation are the flock. If the sheperd is not strong and true he/she will lead the flock astray.

  8. Because we know a demn and his angels exist. Why? Because the Bible tells us and the condition of the world also shows proof. Belief of a practicing Christian is like someone saying "I'll believe he/she is when I see it>" Being a practicing Christian means they are doing the actions but its not known if the faith is true or not. On the other side of the coin, true Christians practice Christianity with their heart, mind, soul, and actions.

  9. Great Commandement (Royal Law) is the commandments handed down by God. Favoritism towards the rich person breaks the royal law because you are showing and giving the rich person a higher status than you give even God.

Breaks the royal law towards the poor person because you have judged and condemned that person for what he or she does not have, therefore implying the poor person is not worthy of attention, fellow love, and love from God.
