  1. Q2. (a)What this parable has in common with the other two:- In all parables there is joy and celebrations in finding the lost. Q2 (c) What we can learn from the parable of lost son. >Gods unconditional love for his children. > Forgiveness, Repentance, Humility, Gratitude, Reconciliation. > We must accept those who repent of their sins back to flock, congregation, the sins they had committed notwithstanding.
  2. Jesus is concerned more with the lost sheep, that why He leaves the rest and goes for the lost ones. In John 10 : 16 Jesus talks of sheep of another fold that he has to seek for, I believe these are the Gentiles- sheep from other nations. As Christians we should seek to share our faith with those who do not come to church as we reflect God's love to them. God is not happy with those that die in sin but that they repent as Zecchaeus did in Luke 19: 1-10.
  3. It is surprising today that there many churches where prayer requests have to be accompanied by an offering. You wonder whether those who are financially weak will ever have their requests prayed for.
  4. EQUAL WORSHIP TO THE FATHER AND SON. >Colossians 1:15a " who is the image of the invisible God >John 10:30. I and the Father are one >John 14:8-9 ...he that has seen me has seen the Father. God the invisible made himself visible through his Son. >CONCLUSION: There is equal worship because they are both equal in their dirty.

Question 1 a) Why did only some return to Jerusalem when given the opportunity ? > They had lived with expectation of going back. > They longed to see restoration of worship in the temple. > They were devoted to their faith. > Their hearts were touched by God. What can you say about those who remained? They were in their comfort zones and going back looked like a bother to them. c) Why do only some answer to Jesus' call to follow Him ? Conviction by the word of God by the Spirit of God. A miracle performed in life devine healing and others. d) Characteristics of true disciples. Receive Gods word with gladness. They mix the word of God with faith - leading to change of life. Hebrews 4:2 Receive the word with readiness of mind. Acts 17:11.
  6. (a) We rejoice in suffering because 1. Suffering produces endurance 2. Endurance produces Gods approval 3. Gods approval creates hope. 4. This hope does not disappoint us.
  7. Q3 i. What does Paul expect God to do to the Philipian believers? > Paul expects God to complete the work of salvation He has started in them. ii. Why does he expect God to do this? > Because God himself has declared us to be his. iii. What is the basis of Paul's confidence? > Gods faithfulness. iv. On what basis can we expect God to do to us? > When we sincerely seek to follow Christ. > Gods faithfulness.
  8. WHAT DO WE RECEIVE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CHRIST MINISTRY? (a) We receive both Spiritual and material blessings. In Mathew 10:41,42 We receive a Prophets reward and also a righteous persons reward. WHAT OTHER SUPPORT MIGHT WE OFFER BEYOND FINANCIAL? ( We can offer ourselves in person to assist in the work of the ministry; We can offer prayer, Clothing's, Food substances.
  9. HOW TRIALS HEAL OUR DOUBLEMINDEDNESS. 1. Trials lead us to reflect on our lives, our relationship with God. We then come to - identity our sinful character. - the in surrendered desires Satan entices and lead us to sin. At these times we he ability to repent and see the hold of those sins break and loose their power. 2. HOW TRIALS CAUSE OUR FAITH TO GROW. - They cause us to be single minded, focused on God. - Cause to make new commitments. - Cause us to emberk on new direction.

  13. Q 2. (i) Just what is the mystery that Paul is talking about? >The mystery is that Gentiles and Jews are equally Gods People. >Gentiles are heirs together with Israel. ( ii ) Why was it important in Gentile christian in Pauls day ? >It was important to Gentile christians as at times they were made to feel they were 2nd Class citizens of heaven.
  14. Q 3.( i ) What according to Ephesians 2:10 were we created to do ? A. We are created to produce good works. ( II ) wHY ? A So that the world may see those good works and glorify God. ( iii ) What is the difference between these works and the works Paul discredits in verse 9 ? A. The difference between these works and those Paul discredits in Eph. 2:9 is that these are as a result of our responce to Gods calling while on the other hand, the works described in 2: 9 are those based on man made rules, righteousness derived on the law which have no place in SALVATION.

Q 1 (ii) What commonly held life principles does it demolish ? >It demolishes the principles man has held for long that forgiveness is tied to - ability to do the right thing - Mans works of righteousness Q 1 (iii) Translate the word " grace " into a language a 10 year old child can understand ? > Grace is unmerited favor from God.
  16. Q4 ( i ) WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE SEATED WITH CHRIST IN HEAVENLY REALMS ? It means we are elevated above the demonic and human authorities ( ii ) WHAT DOES THIS SAY ABOUT GODS GRACE ? - Gods grace is more than forgiveness of the past, it is equiping us to live in this present age with new power, power to transform our lives and lives of those around us. ( iii ) WHAT DOES THIS SAY ABOUT OUR SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY ? - It is such that the enemy cannot intimidate us ( iv ) HOW SHOULD THIS KNOWLEDGE AFFECT OUR PRAYERS AND OUR BOLDNESS ? - Our prayers should command authority and demonstrate boldness over our enemies.

Q1 ( i ) WHAT DO WE CHRISTIANS LOOK FORWARD TO ? > A future with Jesus in his glory will be better. >Christ promise to return for us in 1 John. 3: 2,3 ( ii ) HOW SHOULD THIS HOPE BE A MAJOR MOTIVATION IN OUR PRESENT DAY LIVES ? > We are motivared because while here on earth we are afflicted in many ways and are anchored by the future glory to be revealed. - 2 corinthians 4:17 - Romans 8: 18 - Romans. 8:37 ( iii ) Our decisions should be based on Gods insight. The rich fools decisions, in the bible, were earthly [ luke 12:13- 21 ] eating, drinking and merry making. ( iv ) HOW DOES OUR GREAT HOPE DIFFER FROM THE HOPE OF AVERAGE NON BELIEVER? >It gives endurance and holy living on the other hand the world has no hope but sees death as the ultimate of man kind. This leads to reckless living and is not satisfying, its temporal.See the life of the Prodigal son in Luke 15:11-31.
  18. Q4 (1) The end of the term will occur when Christ comes the second time. ( 2 ) THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN OUR LIVES >The Holy Spirit identifies us to secure Gods devine protection > Romans 8:12-17 The Spirit himself bears witness with our Spirit that we are children of God.
  19. Q3 (i) WHAT IS GODS PURPOSE FOR OUR LIVES? > It is so that we may bring praise to Him. ( ii ) WHAT DO WE NEED TO DO TO FULFIL THIS PURPOSE ? > We can bring praise to God - through our good deeds. - Living a life that is distinct to that of the world. - As light of the world, we need to overcome the deeds of darkness. - Our lives to be like a mirror that reflects the glory of God. ( iii ) HOW DOES THIS PURPOSE RELATE TO MATHEW 5: 13- 16 ? This relates to mathew 5: 13-16 in that both portray that as believers, saints, born again ; Our presence shoud be felt wherever we are.
  20. Q2.( i ) What is the significance that all things will be brought under one head...Christ himself ? >Christ will be the centre of all power and authority. In 1 Corint 15: 25- For he must reign till he puts all his enemies under his feet. (ii ) How does this relate to the creator > Christ is the image of the invisible God. Christ has been given all power and authority by the creator ( God ) and will finally himself submit unto the Father.

Q4 (a) Why is adoption a particularly apt illustration of Gods relationship with us? > we get more insight on this in 1 Peter 2:10 which says In time Past we were not a people, but now are the people of God, had not received mercy, but now have obtained mercy. We have been adopted to Gods family. ( Why is the concept of adoption encouraging us? > Concept an encouragement to us in that - We are assured of heavenly inheritance. - We share equal privileges with Christ.
  22. Q3. (a) What does it mean to be Holy ? > It is being consecreted to God. ( a) In what sense can you stand before God blameless? > When we accept Christ to come into our lives, we obtain salvation and forgiveness of our sins. We consequently acquire Christs righteousness God then sees us to be blame less through the work of Christ.

IMPLICATIONS OF THIS TO ME > Being a heir together with Christ. > Receiving Spiritual blessings.

Our God lives in high places and at the same time lives with people of contrite spirit Q 3. Why does God care so much about the downtrodden? It is part of Gods attributes to defend the poor, weak, and the downtrodden Read with me the following :- Amos 1:13-15 , Psalms 68:5 Q 4. Do you and your congregation care for the downtrodden? Have seen my pastor stand firmly to defend some orphaned children in our church whose land was being grabed Where i have gotten opportunity, i have tried to stand for the oppressed more so in my workplace.
