God elects, justifies and keeps us as his. 1Pe 1:5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Joh 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. Joh 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. Our responsibility is to obey God in faith ever grateful for his wonderful mercy that "saved a wretch like me", keeping the faith during trials 1Pe 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

Once we have been forgiven, we will want to obey the One who has shown undeserved grace towards us in thankfulness and love (which we often have too little of)

Worldly/nominal. More concerned with the things of this world and striving to meet these. Often accepts values/information that is contrary to Scripture (i.e.gevolution). Focus is on this world. It is often a case of having to assess whether our actions are to satisfy the world/the flesh or to honour God. Focus on God alone and his "lamp unto our feet"
