  1. I see Jesus walking among His churches (His people) who believe in Him; Christians, who shine with the Holy Spirit believing, walking and talking with Jesus. Jesus is the Head of the Church, the Sheppard watching out over the sheep, protecting us daily, guiding us along the pathway daily. The church represents Christians. In order to be a servant to our Lord, we need to act accordingly; walk in the light of Jesus, spread the Gospel, pray daily or more often, study His Word. With Jesus in the church we cannot go wrong; He is always with us, never leaving or forsaking us. Jesus is the God Head of the Church. He is all powerful, to be exulted, worshiped, feared. He has the power over life and death; to reward us or to pass judgment on us. The choice is ours: to be with Him for all eternity or be lost to Satan forever, separate from Him forevermore. Praise the Lord!!!!!Glory!!!!!
  2. As Jesus walked on earth, He preached about His Father; leading people to a life of eternity through Him to His Father. He was rejected, ridiculed, persecuted and in the end placed on the cross to die. He lived as mortal humans live, sharing the same feelings, temptations, facing the same problems, yet He remained without sin. As John saw Jesus he was in the spirit. Only then was he allowed to see Christ. There He stood in all glory and majesty; His reverence and Holiness. Deserving of this place in power and judgment. He is still leading people to His Father, even now through the Words spoken to His disciples and prophets of the OT. There are no words to explain the depth and breathe of the feelings I get as I think of Him in all His splendor. Reverence, worship, awe only begin to describe how I feel. Knowing the Jesus Christ that walked on earth to experience everything we endure, allows Him personal first hand of how difficult life is on earth. He came to this earth to save us from our sins, the ultimate sacrifice, because His death on the cross paid for our sins in full. In Heaven, He acknowledges what we experience, is able to forgive us so we do not pay the penalty for those sins. We will be able to spend eternity in the presence of Jesus Christ and God the Father and the Holy Spirit. Knowing that when Christ comes to rapture His church, judgment will prevail on all those who have sinned against Him. Those who have not repented and asked for forgiveness, who have turned their backs on Him will receive the punishment that God has planned. How wonderful it is to know we will spend all eternity with Him.
  3. These are countries I have found to persecute Christians; I do think, however there are many more: Iran, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Egypt, Iraq, Northern Nigeria, Pakistan, Syria, Palestine, China, Russia, US, United Kingdom and Canada. I have found the worst of persecution comes from Muslim majority countries. Persecution there ranges from being sentenced to life in prison or death; whippings are included in this persecution. In other countries, a merely innocent conversation with an individual not of your faith is cause for attacks during worship service and their pastor, and driving Christians from their urban homes. Even corporations are not immune. One such corporation advertises their faith on their product, claimed exemption from the contraception mandate on the First Amendment grounds. Courts are even divided: is a corporation a "legal person". There have been other persecutions in America; religious words "In God We Trust" removed from currency, public properties, no school prayer, defacement of religious figures. The persecution will never end. As Christians we need to stand as a united front for Christ. Take a stand for what we believe in before its too late. However, we do have the comfort of knowing God will judge all who have sinned and turned against Him. Revelation gives up comfort in knowing He will return, rapture us home, be in His presence for all eternity. No more suffering, no more pain, no more tears.
  4. Rev. 1:8 describes the Father as ". . . Alpha and Omega, the Beginnings and the Ending, . . ., which is and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty". Rev. 1:11 describes Jesus as ". . ., I am Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last: and . . .". Rev 1:17-18 says ". . . Fear not; I am the first and the last. I am He that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive forever more; Amen, . . .". These verses give us the impression that Jesus, although God's Son, is actually the Lord God Himself. Jesus has the power and sovereignity to cause events to happen just as they are descried by our Lord God. He carries out the end of time just as the Lord God. They both are the same person---Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, the First and the Last. Our first glimpse of the Trinity comes from Genesis 1:21, ". . ., And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters". Here the Spirit of God represents the Holy Spirit. Next the first glimpse of the oneness of Lord God and Jesus Christ is in Genesis 1:26, ". . . Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness:. . .". It's wonderful to as the Trinity works together for the good of mankind; each with their own duties, yet they are One (unified). As we read in the book of John 1:1, it is written, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,, and THE WORD WAS GOD". The Word of God represents Jesus Christ and God within whom Jesus resides. In vs 14, John writes, "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, . . . ". Here, Jesus is sent to live with humans; this is the only way the Glory of God can be seen in the NT. Also Jesus was sent to die on the cross for all humanity. I was God's way of walking among His creation, loving us beyond comprehension and save us from our sins. Yes, Jesus died for our sins so we who believe in Him will have "everlasting life". Live in eternity with the Trinity---God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit. All the above collectively shows us that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are all One---the Godhead. Their love for us, is so great, we humans are not worthy of such love; however, we were crated in the image of God--who is Love--He loves us unconditionally Turning to God through Jesus Christ by faith is the only way to see God in all His glory one day. I think Colossians 1:14-22 sums it all up perfectly: "In who we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins. Who is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of every creature. For by Him all things were created, that are in Heaven and that are in the Earth, visible or invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him. And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the first-born from the dead; that in all things he might have pre-eminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell. . . In the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and unblamable and unreprovable in His sight".
  5. A) Some believers have heard of the Trinity and believe Christ died for our sins. However, that is as far as it goes. Personal testimony and witnessing of what God has done for you, may very well be the key to unlocking their reluctance to witnessing themselves. Seeing, personally seeing the difference in you is a great witness. Seeing first hand miracles that have happened in your life, seeing the prayers that have been answered gives others the much needed encouragement and strength to go forth and witness, give testimonies about what Christ has done for them. Together this wins others to Christ who may never have otherwise. Our faith becomes stronger as we hear of what Christ has done for ourselves and others. The stronger the faith, the better witness we can be for Christ. After all, Christ was the best witness and testimony that this world will ever see!!!! Jesus only spoke "truth". The promises He made and miracles He performed were ALL examples of His truth. He was obedient to God the Father----He suffered unimaginable persecution prior to His death. Yet, He continued to carry ALL our burdens, sins, unfaithfulness to show us He is "the Truth, the Light, the Way". He arose from the dead and ascended to Heaven to sit at the right hand of God. Oh, what a glorious time that must have been! Knowing His promises have been fulfilled, are continuing to be fulfilled and miracles continuing to be performed only builds ones faith. It is through His way, though hard at times---the road of straight and narrow---that leads us straight to Him. C) Our society has become one of labels, critical, judgmental, bad turning, flesh serving that rebels against any mention or thought of Christ. Some if not more individuals are not willing to come forward and speak of Christ for these very reasons. Fear of these things has put all individuals in jeopardy of loosing self-worth, doubting their beliefs, and loosing all hope. Christians have become too lazy to speak out and take a stand for Christ for the reasons mentioned above. Yes, it has gotten to the point of having what this country was founded on, replaced with worldly ideas----total separation of church and government. As Christians we need to stand together and speak out "no matter what the cost". Take the stand for Christ, bring Christ back in the hearts of all individuals. Don't be afraid of what one may be labeled as; Christ was persecuted! What makes us better than He? Christ is worth being persecuted for! ETERNAL LIFE!!!!!!!!
  6. Hi, my name is Chris. I have just moved back to SC from NC. I was raised Southern Baptist and converted to Pentecostal in 1997. I have a 16 year old daughter, who is the last of 5 children. I have 4 grandchildren with another one on the way. I love the Lord with all my heart, mind and soul. This is the first bible study I have done in this format. Looking forward to getting started. Revelation has always interested me, however, because of the symbolism, I have had trouble understanding it. I'm so glad to be a part of this study. May God bless each and every one of us throughout this study.
