This chapter has always been my favorite. It surely tells me that God knows everything of me, I cant hide a thing In the last 2 verses I am asking God to search my heart and soul and if He finds anything that I forgot that is not good, please to remove it .

I know there are many more but these 3 come to mind immediately cause they are my favorites: WORTHY IS THE LAMB THOU ART WORTHY HOLY HOLY HOLY

the churches are critized for being too prideful and sinful, not listening and obeying Gods word. the good ones are being praised for trusting and following God. they are also not being materelastic. This century needs to remember where these churches now have come from, and work harder to please God

churches think that they need not work hard anymore to bring people in and feed them. They dont preach salvation. We need revival

I believe then as now that the business or trades will do anything to be rich and powerful. Christians are torn between what they know to be right and what they really want. I dont think it is sex, drinking or smoking as it is the materialistic desires

the sexual standards then as today can be very pervasive. They are wrong and can lead to such evil things that do not have Jesus in mind. We must obey Gods laws of sexuality Sometimes it is very hard to obey Christian morals

They lost their first love by forgetting who gave them this love. No hope lots of frustration. They wont work to find it again. What they need are pastors that are on fire for the Lord and to offer encouragement

The lampstands are the 1st churches that Jesus protected and found His followers to continue teaching the congregation. The church si Gods shephard to His flock

I believe that Jesus before Revelation showed more of His humaness then Godliness. In Revelation he showed John His total Godliness asnd also showed how He will. Jesus showed His strengthas God. We need to show awesome fear for His power. Jesus is God and man and we can trust Him

I think just about every country except maybe ours has persecuation at one time or the other. Think of a country and they have had or now having persecuation. I think the most important part of this question on Revelation is how these people can be comforted during their time of trouble. I believe God is helping them to see that when the end is here they will no longer be suffering but will rejoice with Him in Heaven

I am answering the first question of Revelation first lesson Jesus is the faithful witness, because he was first to die and be raised up again, the important part was His Ressurection. It is His encouragement to us for one day we will do the same. To be clear witness we cant be afraid to speak and embarrassed to speak Gods words. For me it is hard to do. I dont want to be laughed at to be rejected
