  1. [From how large a group of people does God remove sins in Isaiah 52:13 - 53:12? The group consists of all of man kind, those who fear the Lord continually everyday. In what sense is this a universal sacrifice of salvation? In the sense that God is the creator of the whole universe and everything in it. This brings me great sorrow for I idolize cigarettes. I am scared yet I have not let them go even knowing this. So where is my fear really? This worries me. And for that I am feeling Jesus
  2. What does animal sacrifice teach us about sin? The sacrifices represented the final and efficacious sacrifice of Jesus; shedding His blood to make full and complete atonement for sin (see Ps. 40:6). The fire in the animal sacrifices reprents the consuming wrath of God that comes upon the animal and not the offerer. About holiness? That we must live by Gods' highly moral commandments, to be set apart for His religious purpose. About His nature? That He will not tolerate any kind of sin, or excuse for being ignorant. There is no transferring of sin now folks, lets quit adding to Jesus' stripes. "Be ye there fore perfect". God wouldn't tell us to do something we could not. Sin is a choice. "There hath no temptation taken you except that which is common to man...."
  3. The implied meaning of Jesus walking amongst the lampstands is that He is the One we Glorify and Honor in the church
  4. The vision of Jesus in the midst of the lampstands is God in is Glorified state of being. When Jesus walked the roads of Galilee and Judea He was in His human form as a man of flesh and blood. My overall emotions are that Jesus is God. He is Glorious and Beautiful. Gentle and Pure, yet Serious in that He will not tolerate sin. With those huge feet of brass and the two edged sword coming from His mouth, He will wipe out the Destroyer/Satan and all those who follow after him. He is Invincible!!! It is important to understand that God knows by experience what we are going through and that He can and will avenge us. He is God the Almighty!!! Praise God!!!
  5. The basic elements involved in a sacrifice for sin is
  6. Q3. In what countries are Christians presently experiencing tribulation or persecution for the faith? How can the Book of Revelation be a comfort and encouragement to them? Israel, Libia, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Jordan, India, Pacistan, China, Japan, Vietnam, Laos, Tialand, Cambodia, Tibet, Afganistan, Germany, Russia, Mongolia, Saudia Arbia. Even the USA in a less obvious way. I'm not good at Geography but the persecution of our fellow brother's and sister's in Christ happens all over the world. Revelation 3:12 is a great comfort "Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name." I have found many such comforting scriptures in Revelation, as well as what will happen if we do not obey God and stay true to the end; preach the Gospil, and always loving and doing good works out of love, one for another.
  7. Thinking for myself and not other people, for I can not honestly tell you what other people think about animal sacrafice, because I have never asked anyone that question. I never thought about sacraficing an animal for forgiveness of my sins or anything else for that matter, and killing animals for food does not bother me for God gave us permission to do that. Killing an animal for sacrafice is rediculous being I know the truth in that this is why Jesus laid his life down and spilled His blood out; putting an end to animal sacrafice. Your exposition sounds like a very good explanation. I don't know what else could be said. Is there some deeper truth that I should be investigating within myself, because I'm not getting it if there is. I apologize that I am unable to answer these questions ( Q3. Why is animal sacrifice repulsive to modern people? How much of this has to do with a city vs. a farming way of life?)
  8. Revelation 1:8 tells us that Father Is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. The significance is that Jesus is God and that all He has said Is. Praise God/Jesus/Holy Spirit!!!Hallelujah!!!
  9. Q2. Why is anger an appropriate response to sin? Stating that anger is an appropriate response to sin, goes against what I believe anger is and that is fear. God said "Fear Not". Anger is a reaction and although it may seem to be directed towards somebody else, usually it is not. The person getting angry is trying to be in control of what ever the situation is and taking it personal, maybe because they recognize that thing in their self and it discust's them. I asked God "how do I deal with people who get down right rude and nasty when I testify of Him"? He responded to my hearts call with "Love handle it with Love"!!! So I do not know that anger is appropriate period. I mean we do not have to agree or like with/what somebody else is/are saying or doing, but to respond out of anger, which is hate/fear brings it on our selves. Anger is a response I learned from people who can not control them selves and they lash out and are very hurtful. God placed in my heart "Love handle it with Love". God also said to be angry but to sin not. So I am presuming here that if at any point we come across something that anger's us that we recognize why it brought such a response and ask Gods' forgiveness for ourselves and to open the other person's heart to receive the Love in which we are to handle the situation with. Uncontrolled anger is mentally hurtful and kills. Justified anger is derived from the Truth and keeps us from being that which is not of the Truth.
  10. Hello, I am an Israelite: adopted into Abraham's bosom, from Michigan in the USA. A righteous creation in Christ. I Love God and have responded to His call in my life. Regretfully slow on the get go. God is no joke. His Yoke light and sweet. God is Love/Truth and I choose to be on His side. Hallelujah!!!Praise God. I know that the flip side to all God's greatness is real too and for His Glory as well, as well as for those of us who make it to heaven, for not one sin will be tolerated or allowed into heaven. So praise God and let's sup in His Word, and ever fear Him for He is worthy to be Praised.
  11. Dear Pastor Ralph Wilson, I was a member of Joyfulheart Ministries on-line I think about 2 years ago. I lost the ability to communicate with you all after I changed the security level in the Internet settings on my PC. Although I could no longer study with you all as a result of that, I did continue in the Lord and am happy to report that God is the Ruler of my Heart/Life still. I am glad the security level and way I connect to the Internet is not a problem now for being able to navigate in the member part of your site. I can not remeber what my user name and e-mail address was before, as it has changed a few times since I was last here (the way I connect to the Internet and my e-mail address). Anyway I am glad to see that you are still here and going strong in the Lord. I praise God and look forward to studying the WORD with you all. Thanks again. LAMK, Lansing, MI, USA
