Teaching the Christian Faith via the Internet
by Dr. Ralph F. Wilson
Since 1995, I've had a vision to teach the Bible internationally via the Internet. From late 1996 through 2003, I experimented with using e-mail discussion lists along with structured observation, interpretation, application questions to guide the weekly discussion. This culminated with a study on Luke's Gospel, JesusWalk, that reached more than 5,000 people.
Since 2003, I have use a different approach: distributing lessons using a sequential autoreponder while providing an online forum where participants can share their answers to questions.
At some time I hope to write a book about what I've learned about teaching the Bible on the Internet. Until then, why don't you sign up for one of the studies to see how they work at JesusWalk Bible Study Series.
