  1. This person understands who Jesus was in those times. He knows that a great injustice was done by the Jewish people of that day. He did not fall prey to the words of everyone else around him. He understands the truth even though he did not live by his beliefs. The thief received eternal life in paradise with Jesus. He obtained forgiveness for all of his sons. I think that Jesus was very happy with this thief. He saw into the heart of this man and knew that all His suffering was for a real purpose. That He was really going to be helping true believers gain eternal life.

  3. Everyone is responsible for killing Jesus. He died as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. Pilate actually found Jesus innocent. He was trying to release Him. But the Jews refused to let Him go. Jesus was dying ton help open the way to heaven. He was asking the Father to forgive all of our short coming that were going to commit in the future.
  4. The Lamb who represents the Lord Jesus Christ opens the seven seals. He unleashes the terror on the non-believers or those that have turned their backs on Him. I feel that it is as just as the events from the Old Testament when God passed His judgement on the Jewish nations that turned their backs on Him.
  5. Many will be killed for their belief in Christ. The souls of the faithful were found under the alter. It really tells me that they were given a place of honor once they died. If we compare this to the time of Moses, they were in the Holiest of Holy place. Only those priests that were considered clean were allowed to enter. They were killed because of the ways that they were a witness for Christ. They willingly gave up their lives for their beliefs. They want to see the death of those that murdered them. They want to know that their death was not for nothing. They want to know that Jesus would fulfil the promise that He stated. Vengence is mine said the Lord. It is not a Christian prayer, it is just a request for the fulfillment of a promise that they feel that they died for. The white robe represents purity. We are basically told that Christ has His own time frame for everythng. We learn that even in heaven we must be patient.
  6. The Father and Son are parts of the Holy Trinity. We worship them as one because of their combination within each other. We show honor and love evenly to them. Because of the fact that they are so close, we are in union with both of them. We are brothers and sisters of Christ and thus we belong to the Father. There no longer is a barrier to Them and Their love.
  7. I believe that as Christians, we are called to be priests by spreading the word of God. We are to be guides with our lights to show non-believers a different way of life. We are inclusive in a kingdom with our brother Jesus here on earth. We share in His salvation and we share in His work of loving others as our selves
  8. Jesus was sinless and guiltless. However, He took our sins upon himself and suffered and died for us. He shed His blood because He loved us so much. Because of this self-less act, He became the only one that is able to open these. He allowed Himself to be sacrificed for us out of love.
  9. Praise God's holiness We sing that God is worthy because He is the creator Acknowledge that the Lamb is the Redeemer Acknowledge that God is the Alpha and Omega The use of incense Redempton by the blood of Christ Singing of new songs Praise and Honor
  10. Besides the ones listed, I have found the following songs: King of Glory. By Judy Gresham Revelation 5:11-12 Lamb of God by Judy Gresham Revelation 5:11-13 Every Nation by Adam Howard Revelation 5:13 You are Worthy Revelation 5:6-10
  11. Dear Church of the 21st Century, we need to get back to our first love of God. We need to remember and live by the two greatest commandments. Love of God and love of others like ourselves. We need to once again walk the walk and talk the talk like Christ once did. Lets forget about the materialistic ideals of the world and look for that spiritual fulfillment that can be ours again,.

  13. Many churches have become a Sunday club house where people come, sing a few songs, say a few prayers and go out and live their lives as they want. God is only an hour thought in their lives. We are becoming a group that just walks and talks and does not really have anywhere to go or anything important to say. We need to start walking the walk like Christ did, we need to really start believing in the talk that we are giving, We need to shine like true Christians. We need to be an example all the time of what love and justice really are. We need to break out of our shells and go forth and be like Christ in all things.
  14. I feel that this would be the first step to the down fall of the church. To accept what others are doing and keep our mouths shut is sinning just as much as doing the acts... We as a society have been forced to accept changes by the government and ruling bodies... They tell us what we should think and feel about issues that were once very private and personal. We no longer have the rights to voice our opinions as openly as we once had. The media is also a really big problem. They only report the issues that bring in money and they glorify things that should not be. To them, it is more important to show us what the rich and famous are doing than to show us real life issues. How can we be a true Christian nation when we cover up all the wrong that is being done?
  15. The church that I currently belong to is really struggling with this right now... We have lost Jesus in the church... Honestly, we are being ruled by money right now. No body wants to stand up to the president of the consistory and tell him that he is not doing things for the best of the church. They are allowing him to make changes and demands that are what he wants not what is best. The reason for this is that he contributes the most money to the church. His family has a trust fund for the upkeep of the church and things like that... It is disheartening to watch money rule now as it is destroying our congregation.
  16. This shows us that Jesus walks among us today. He is in the center of His church. He is the reason for the church. He is the reason that we exists. He is the reason that we move forward and the reason that we live. He is our purpose. This shows us how much He loves us and what we mean to Him.
  17. In Revelation, we see Christ as He really is. We see Him in all of His heavenly glory. He is no longer a regular man. He shows us that there is life after death, That there is truly a heaven where we can be at peacr and be in our full glory to praise God. We need to know Jesus as a man but we also need to know Him and see Him as the God that He is. This is the ultimate knowledge of faith.
  18. The book of Revelation can be a comfort because one can read and understand that they are not alone. Many will be able to see that there were others before them that had troubles and were killed for their beliefs. God is promising that this is only temporary. There are greater things waiting for us in Heaven.
  19. This tells us that the Father is the beginning and the end. It states that He always was, always is and always will be the greatest. We need to understand that the Father created the Son. The Son is a part of God but He is not the almighty, the most powerful. He still needs to obey the Father, pray to Him and worship Him just as we do now.
  20. The writer of this book needs to possibly win over the trust of the people at that time. They were new to a new faith and a new way of thinking. He keeps stressing his belief on what he sees and what he hears. Jesus is the whole reason for the New Church. He is the whole basis and concept of love, honesty, trust and fulfillment. He died so that we may live. He is always with us. He faced life as we do but He knows that there is a lot more for us once we learn to accept and live by His teachings. I feel that a lot of people look more on the worldly aspects than a spiritual aspect that the bible teaches us. We have fears about being labeled by those that really do not understand or do not believe. Some people might be afraid to admit that they really do not understand or really believe in what they say they do.
