  1. Q5. Why should Christians look forward to the events surrounding our resurrection? It is everything we hoped for during our trials and tribulations on earth Why do you think Christians have largely lost this as their active expectation and hope? Because life comes in and crowds out our hope and tribulations make us waiver. If we are not steadfast we fail. What should be done to reclaim these truths? Bible study, small groups, counselling
  2. Q6. (Revelation 11:15; Psalm 24:7) When people think of spending an eternity in heaven, who do they most look forward to being with? Relatives? Jesus? What does it mean that he will reign forever and ever? In what way is he the King of Glory in your life? It means just what it says, Jesus will reign for ever and ever. I am seeking Him with all my heart and though I am still very far from it I want Him to saturate my life. He is my King of Glory.
  3. Q4. (Malachi 3:2-3; 1 Corinthians 3:13-15). How does Jesus purify and refine his church? How does he purify and refine us? On the Day that fire will test your deeds, will you have anything that remains, besides your salvation? Jesus purify His church with His Word and His Spirit, and us He purifies by putting us in the fire (trials and tribulations). I do not think you will have anything left, lets face it, even our best actions is like filthy rags before God. Only the price Jesus paid on the cross will allow us to see heaven.
  4. In what sense is Jesus “Heir of All Things”? What does it imply that we are co-heirs with him? In what sense do we possess all things? All things were created by and through Him. Absolutely everything belongs to Him. Jesus said that we are His brothers and sisters. This makes us co-heirs with Jesus. We possess all things in the sense that everything belongs to God and we are His children. Praise the Lord for His grace.
  5. (Revelation 1:17-18; Hebrews 12:2) What do the titles First and Last, Alpha and Omega, Beginning and End teach us about Jesus’ nature? How does knowing that Jesus is the Author and Perfecter of our faith help build our trust in him? Jesus is everywhere all the time. He is our source, our fountain of wisdom. The One we need to go to, to be saved and taught. We can trust Him with reservation. In fact, He invites us to trust in Him.
  6. (Hebrews 1:3; Matthew 17:1-2) In what ways did Jesus show the Father’s glory in his ministry? Why do you think Jesus allowed Peter, James, and John to see his Transfiguration? How do you think Jesus will appear in heaven? Jesus showed the Father's glory in everything He did. His life is a testamony to the Father's glory. It had to be them, to fulfill the purpose and great plan for humanity. I have never thought of what would Jesus look like in heaven?
  7. They will be like Jesus but without the scars. I think it all has to do with the new concept. The old is gone, the old will be burdened with all the old shame. God wants us to be new in heaven. I think God being a creator decided all will be perfect in heaven. He is like a parent who wants to give His children the perfect holiday or birthday and wants everything to be perfect for it.
  8. Q3. What does the phrase "redemption of our bodies"(Romans 8:23-24) tell us about our resurrection? What words in 1 Corinthians 15:42-44 describe our resurrection bodies? We will not have our old bodies anymore. So no more disease, pain, creaking lims, stiff joints. The words that describe our resurrection bodies are imperishable not perishable, in glory not in dishonor, in power not in weakness, and spiritual not natural.
  9. Q1. What is the word used in the Bible instead of "rapture"? Resurrection When will the resurrection take place in relation to Christ's return? After the appearance of Christ in the heavens. In relation to judgment? Directly before judgement. In relation to glory? Glory is the final step
  10. It just tells us that He is equall to God, because He is God.
  11. The Lamb took the sins of the world and paid the price for that sin. He shed His blood for us and then rose again declaring His victory over death. He is worthy to the max.
  12. Q2. (Revelation 5:6) Decode (that is, identify) each of the following symbols that relate to the Lamb: The lamb itself represents ....Jesus Standing after being slain indicates ...That He is alive (risen) Horns represent ....He is all powerfull Eyes represent ...He is all seeing The number seven carries the idea of ...completeness, perfection To summarize, then, the Lamb has the qualities of being of ....being all powerfull, all seeing, alive and completely perfect.
  13. Q1. Why is the Lamb called "the Lion of the tribe of Judah" and "the Root of David"? What do these titles signify about him? "The Lion of the tribe of Judah" refers to Jacob's ancient prophecy over his son Judah, picturing Judah as "a lion's cub" and a "crouching lion," from whose tribe, the Jews believed, would come the Messiah "The Root of David" is a reference to Isaiah's prophecy: In that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples; the nations will rally to him, and his place of rest will be glorious." (Isaiah 11:1, 10) Jesse is the father of King David, from whose descendents the Messiah would come.
  14. Q4. Extra Credit: In what sense have we been set free or relased from slavery to sin? Why do we need the Holy Spirit to help us keep this freedom? Jesus set us free completely, forever. The Holy Spirit is our teacher who teaches us how to keep this freedom.
