Because as son of man He was taking all the instructions from father the God and on His own He does nothing. Jesus divine nature is that He being son of God already knows Him and was with Him before coming here on to this earth as son of man, He only does fulfill Fathers will. We should learn to please God and not the people who are around us by following Jesus as in John 5:30. By praying to God and waiting silently to hear His voice and instructions to do things that are according to His will.

Jesus was awake much before dawn and used to spend time with the Heavenly Father in prayer, before the distractions from the day begins. Jesus would take guidance from God the Father to give him strength to carry out His plan because what ever Father says the Son used to do. It will give Jesus confidence preparedness and renewed and refreshed for the day before facing it to spread to Good news. Jesus is never settling down in one place only after preaching about the kingdom of God, He wants to go into deeper unbleached villages and preach. Yes I have quiet time available for me because I getup early before anybody is awake in the house. I would like to be more consistent in spending this precious time with God by organizing in a better way with the fear of God.

Jesus Prayer life was very organised and systematic what ever He does He wants us to immolate and follow if we closely observe we can find hidden truths which we should follow especially the prayerful life. Spending the quiet time with The Father will reveal and prepare Him for the day. His disciples were also like to see the miracles by Jesus, they have no idea about the divine plan that the Gospel has to be spread and told in all places. Yes I do have Quiet time but now I should organize it in a better way. I would like to have a deeper relationship with God to lead me for the rest of the day and also to understand His will.

We neglect praise and worship to God rather we make worship about us by showing off in the church our status, clothes and ornaments we wear, so instead of worshiping Lord we are Idol worshiping wealth. Our churches must emphasis on the importance of worshiping God the way HE wants us to do that is with whole heart, in spirit and with truth. The worship should be to give all the Glory to God when we are in His presence. And according to our talents each one should utilize these talents in worshiping God inside the Church. Most of all we should maintain sanctity and decorum for the holy spirits presence. And to make the personal worship more hearty, we should humble ourselves in His presence as seek His divine mercy with a broken heart and repentance, seeking Holy spirits guidance and blessings.

We very easily fall into the trap of trying to do God's work with our own strength, because when God delays for the right time to fulfill we are in a hurry to do it ourselves with our own strength, don't be deceived be lead by Holy Spirit. It is not by our might nor with our power but its all by the Holy Spirit, we should completely depend on our God who will lead us by His strength and His mighty Power, so try to depend on Him not in yourself, our God is Almighty God. I will try to apply this truth by depending on His strength which is mightier then any strength in this world, to be patient and wait upon the Holy spirit to fulfill.

Joshua's filthy clothes represent our sinful life which is stinking and cannot be hidden in front of our God, it is both visible to his eyes and stinking smell is spread around which others can also identify from whom it is coming. Our God being most merciful, gracious and kind, is willing to clean us by changing our cloths, that is by His grace alone He is saving us from our sins. The message intended to convey to Joshua the high priest is that if he walks in Gods ways and keeps His requirements then he will govern over Gods house/temple or else he will lose the place to stand there and serve Him. This message is very clear to all the christian leaders today that if they have sinned and are continuing in Gods service, Gods says He is willing to change their cloths that is their sins, if they repent, or else they will loose their position and place in the church to serve Him.

Prophet calls all mankind to be still before Him because it is time for God to act, and we are supposed to just stand still and watch what God our Lord does, its like a challange what God does to be seen when we loose our hope in fear. And when God arouses it is appropriate for people to be silent to see what great things God can do and nothing is impossible to God, silence helps to hear Gods word see what He does to his enemies and jpw He protects us. For a believer silence means being obeident and fearful honour and respectful towards God the father.

The message of repentance is very important part of the Gospel because, we are all sinners and to be purified and to live in the presence of Holy God we should be free from sins, and by repenting for our sins we get privelage or else we perish. The core of the message from Jesus is Repentance from sins if we remove this part then there is no forgiveness and santification and no entry into eternal kingdom. God wants us to repent from our sins, because if dont repent and change our ways for every sin we are answarable ot God and we have to pay a price every sin, if we repent God being merciful, kind and loving will willingly forgive us because He is waiting for us to turn to Him so that he will turn towards us.

Zerubbabel is like Yahweh's own signet ring, one who will execute Yahweh's orders with Yahweh's own authority. Its a great encouragement to him to carry forward God's work without fear of being stopped by someone. The power of a leaders signet is to have all the authority of the king to implement with his authority and fear, Here God Himself has given the signet to Zerubbabel to execute the His orders with aruthority and power without fear. When we listen to the spiritual voices of the God in our day to day life to do various works for His glory He will give our authority with His signet to carry froward We are authorized by the promise that Lord Jesus Christ has given us that he will not leaves or forsake us, to the very end of the age Mat 28:18-20, God is encouraging us to be co worker and leader in His kingdom on earth, He wants us to do what He has done when He was on earth that is spreading the good news of Gospel to nook and corner of the world to save as many souls as possible without perishing.

All the unholy acts of pleasure, hate, revenge and unforgiving nature are all acts which put us back into the sinful nature from where we came, so should be careful not to fall into the the trap of Satan, and in the present world of Hippocratic Christians are thinking doing service in the holy work of the lord will make them holy, but lord says to us to deal with our spiritual defilement and sin by repenting and poring our hearts to Him and asking for our forgiveness and living faithfully to Him.

When Joshua and Zerubbabel not to get discouraged, because in this world when we try to do Gods work there will be enemies of Gods work working against it to stop we should realize this, Here for rebuilding the temple the God Himself is intervening and says, "But now be strong, O Zerubbabel,' declares the LORD. 'Be strong, O Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land,' declares the LORD, 'and work. For I am with you,' declares the LORD Almighty." (Haggai 2:4) In our lives also God says not to get discouraged to His work because his assurance is that "I am with you", we should take this assurance and apply in our lives, as for me I would like to humble myself and take courage to what He commands obediently.

It is true that The Heavenly father sometimes makes us go through hardships to make us strong spiritually, or even to put us strongly in spiritual track when we forget Him and live worldly, in Heb:12:7-11 we find that son is he whom the father God chasteneth not. Yes I am facing certain hardships in my life, with which I feel God wants me to refine me spiritually, and keep remembering him at least because of the hardship which brings in me repentance to refine all the walks of my life. And God is telling in the mist of all the hardships to me that It is the make you spiritually strong and to bring all your family members to Him, by act of which the Lord is disciplining my life, to serve Him better all the time.

God takes pleasure in the temple but people have stopped working on the project and they first built beautiful homes for themselves to live, leaving Gods home in rubles. Here our Lord is reminding us that are we also like the Israelis of that day, He wants us to built God's home that is Temple first before we give priorities to other things in our live this temple what he wants us to built for Him is in our heart, pure and sacred, if we do this then he will be pleased with us and takes pleasure in us. But I am keeping myself busy with my daily chores, with my selfishness which lead to sinful thoughts and activities, which do not please Him, these deliberately done activities are not allowing me to joyfully serve Him.

The Disciples today across the world are all from a cultural background which has certain customs, which reflect in their life, but knowing the living God who condemns all the pagan cultural customs, once we are born again by getting baptized by repenting for our sins.In our present Church we find various cultural influences of each regions, for example we find in India in Christian marriage also the groom ties a thread around the brides neck as for the Hindu custom of the region, chick remains for life in her neck. Lord says do not follow the customs of the people who live around you in the land where you live when the Israelis were about to settle in the promised land of caana. We should prepare ourselves to worship Jesus in the Lord's supper by humbling ourlelves by accepting all our sins as a sinner and ask for forgiveness with repentance so that He may accept us checking our hearts, in the process if have anything un setteled issue against our brethern we should forgive them and all others so that our sins are forgive by our Lord at the Lords supper table, we should not participate without purifying by examining ourselves in our hearts. The Bible says in 1Cor 11:28-31, if we take Lords supper unworthiuly we will invite Gods anger which makes us weak and sickly and many may even sleep (die), for if we judge ourselves we will not be judged.

When faced with insurmountable odds people give up easily because of lack of faith in the God, actually we do not have any alternative but we simply have doubt weather we should wait upon the Lord or not in certain cases the alternative is get carried away in unbelief and follow the worldly. We should overcome this situation by faith alone. The characteristics of a disciple is the have faith in Almighty God all the time in all the circumstances, including the most impossible situations. Because to our God is everything is possible. Lord says that we see people externally but our God see what we cannot including the inner self and the heart, should walk by the word of God and immolate Christ the ways He showed and walked.

These uncommitted people try to co-opt true worship for their own benefits and corrupt the true worship of God, which should be done as said in John 4:23-24, the true worshipers shall worship the father in spirit and in truth. The uncommitted people will do in a Hippocratic way by which the church and our God's name is blamed among the gentiles. The danger is that these people will try to elevate themselves by doing things in the name of the God for their profit and fame. It is sad to notice that in some places the preachers are only preaching physical blessings and doing fake miracles and asking donations to attract people without giving any warning message about second coming of Christ and how to be prepared for it. The most accepted way to be innovative and still be faithful to God's heart is by doing service to humanity specially the downtrodden, lending a helping hand in their life struggle and sharing the Gospel with them, in the church try and use the latest technology for quicker references and showing relevant clippings, PPTs etc making more lively and better understanding of the word of God.

a) Only some returned to Jerusalem, because they have taken up the call from the Lord and are preparing to return and longing to go. Those who returned had the spirit to see their home land and the temple of their God, they may be having an attitude of devoted faith. For those who stayed back may have got well settled with good farming and lands etc, have no desire to start all over again, they may be afraid of changes and are scared to go out from safe zones, they are not aware they are chosen people of the God and God wants them to return to their home land. c) Only few answer the Jesus call to follow Him because people are very possessive of the worldly things and are unable detach themselves from them and follow Jesus by leaving everything behind. d) True characteristics of a true discipleship is to take ones cross and follow and do the thing told by Jesus to do and reflect Him in us so that through works His name is glorified.

In our culture or for that matter people never like to be judged by anyone and they get upset, but the same people keep judging other for what ever, because of the pride people have and they elevate themselves high and think no one can judge them as they are always right. It is God who has loved us when are still in sin He gave His begotten son on the Calvary. God says in John 3:16, God so loved the world (people) that He gave his only begotten son that who so ever believe in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life, The final judgement is directly linked to the Gospel because those who accept the good news will be saved others will perish so it is imperative to everyone without any choice to accept the Gospel and be saved, there is no other way. When the final judgment happens they loose chance to get saved by Gospel,and all those who have not believed in God's plan of making sinner holy by washing them with the blood of Jesus Christ will be Judged, so it a great opportunity for all those who want to escape the wrath of God to accept Jesus Christ and be saved because no other name under the heaven can save except Jesus Christ.

Holiness - we are made holy by the grace of God by accepting Jesus Christ as our personal savior, our sins are washed by the blood of Jesus and made Holy. I am holy because I accepted Jesus and by baptism my sins are washed and I am born again new, this holiness I maintain by walking the way holy spirit leads me. I am obedient by living according to the word of God, living according to His will and according to His laws. My biggest struggle with holiness is to win the fight over the body with the help of holy spirit, temptations because body always seeks pleasure, relaxation and makes me lazy not allowing to do spiritual works of God.

Jesus second coming should inspire us to check ourselves and live holy life because when we are worthy in His eyes them only He is going to accept us in His kingdom. As we know this home in this world is not permanent but we have a permanent eternal home to live with God for ever and ever without tears, pain or any kind of worry and agony this hope should inspire us. And to be with our Lord it should inspire us to be in self control of doing what is righteous and not, not falling back again and again into the sin but being sober in trans and not prepared to his calling being blameless and pure. When are not awake and alert in our lives expecting Him, His second coming will be like a thief coming at an unexpected time so be should not wait for tomorrow but repent and purify our hearts and souls and be ready to expect Him any moment, He said that He is going to come quickly, those who are prepared and ready He will take them along and others will be left behind.

The basis of Christian Joy which is inexpressible and glorious, because it is different from the happiness we find in this world which is temporary but the true everlasting joy is eternal because He has chosen me and shown the way through Him to salvation, where in I does not even fear death because here in this world itself Lord has reserved my eternal home to live with Him for ever and ever, which I feel I am the chosen one because I am surrounded by so many gentile who refuse to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior I am blessed spiritually to having know Jesus Christ as my savior among est the multitude of the gentile. But the genuine joy comes from the Christ and believing in Him, because the worldly troubles and tribulations will not shatter them and their hope and faith, as Jesus says in John 14:1-4 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”

God has refined and purified my faith in Him through the difficult circumstances I went through, the incident is I had purchased a piece of land to built an independent home for my family, after purchasing I found that there are some link documents missing because of which I was unable to get housing loan to built, and it was waste of money to invest in that piece of land, but myself and my wife knelt down on our feet and prayed several months with tears to do miracle so that the problem can be solved, here only by Gods grace and mercy and compassion towards us, Lord spoke to the officers responsible to resolve the issue by making the problem into a minor issue and resolved it by an idea given by themselves to resolve and thereby sanctioning the required amount to build the house Here there was tremendous pressure on me during that period because all my life time savings I invested would go waste and life time ambitions to own an independent house would never fulfill, here Lord has refined our faith in Him that when we seek Him and wait upon for His promised to be fulfilled definitely it will be done, all Glory to God.

God has promised us in 1pet 1:3-5 that with His great mercy He has given us a new birth to live in with new hope through Resurrection of Jesus Christ that He will bring us alive from dead, and shall provide us to inherit that will never perish, protect and shield us with His power and finally give salvation through Jesus Christ. My part is to believe to receive, have faith and wait patiently till the promises are fulfilled in my life, by living according to the word.

Forgiveness and obedience come together because in obedience we listen and follow instructions and abide by them that is what our Lord has said to us to do, by this we are forgiven of all our sins by His grace which is free, but the important thing here is that we stop sinning again and again and keep seeking forgiveness again and again making the grace cheap and insulting our Lord in front of the gentile by our unholy living and calling ourselves Christians. But we are saved purely by His grace through faith in Him and not by any good works we do, but once saved we are supposed to show our faith through our works and deeds, otherwise our faith without works is dead.

The present day Christians identify with the present home in this world than the permanent homeland which is in the heaven, because we are more connected to this corrupt world and its systems on a regular basis, and lack of keeping in constant touch with the word of God which promises and reminds us that this is not our home, here when we get engrossed in accumulating worldly wealth and riches we get more attached to them, and to earn the permanent home which God has made ready for us we should leave the riches and wealth behind and follow Him which is proving difficult for the present day Christians to do so, as for me I get back to the heavenly father each time I fall to give strength to keep my goal on the eternal kingdom and be prepared to get the citizenship for the eternal kingdom, repenting and being humble and living holy to be holy Father.
