  1. To seek his face is to know him closely and spend time with him and praise Him. It is necessary for us to closely follow Christ and walk the way He did we should have the zeal the fire in us to do his work in this world so that we enter His world when He comes to take us. Talking face to face changed Moses face to radiate with glory, that means when spend time with Gods word and in prayer we automatically radiate God's glory through us. Seeking God's glory will change us from mortality to immortality, from death to life from surpassing the judgement into eternal life. We have to take the Cross and walk with it everyday, that means the suffering and humiliations and pain which Christ has gone through to save us we also learn to do while saving other souls by spreading the Gospel Seeking His face to enter the glorious kingdom, means in this world we are not even eligible and capable of seeing the Glory of God that's why Moses was told to see the back of God from behind the rock as God was walking past, because no human can live seeing God, but God has given that glory to us through Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross for us to be eligible to enter the kingdom of and God and be in His presence for ever and ever. Amen.
  2. The heavenly kingdom is going to come down in the form of new Jerusalem, which will be built with Gold and precious stones with brilliance of God's beautiful work which cannot be described by us, and the joy one would get who ever enters it is eternal and for ever and ever. So live righteously in this world by following Jesus Christ and get the eternal citizenship.
  3. To rule and reign with Christ now in this life means by living righteously, by setting example to others in this world, follow Him and live like him as in timothy, Paul says follow me and live like me to serve god. After Christ we will be ruling with Him in His kingdom, and also rule ove the angles with glory in the kingdom set up by Jesus.
  4. When Jesus Christ returns the heavens will open and all the nations and every eye will see him descending from heaven on clouds with His mighty power accompanied by the heavenly angles, and they will separate the sheep and the goat, they will collect the holy people who have faithfully followed Christ from all the four corners of the earth. In Daniel's prophecy also we see the son of man coming down from heavens on clouds, here the son of man is non other then Jesus Christ and His second coming.
  5. To rule and reign in Christ's Kingdom means exercising the authority and power of God here in his ministry so that the Kingdom of God can be established here. If the majority or believers took this seriously and work towards establishing God's kingdom the world will be different with justice and righteousness. Those who follow Jesus by leaving everything in this world will rule over the world along with Him, those who defied the satan and the mark of the beast and are killed for the sake of accepting Jesus will rule over other with Jesus.
  6. Jesus gave spiritual authority to his apostles to carry out their ministry in this world as he has exercised, with this spiritual powers his disciples can perform miracles in this world which glorify God in turn bring them to salvation is basis of giving this power, they were able to perform various miracles like bring back dead to life, blind could see, lame could walk and the sick healed. We neglect to exercise this power because under estimate our power given by Jesus Christ through resurrection, our authority is derived from Jesus which is unlimited, we are only ignorant and neglecting to exercise. and Jesus himself was telling to inform John the Baptist in Mathew 11:5 about the power of the kingdom..
  7. Believers sufferings makes ones witness more crediable because you are setting an example by going through the sufferings to otheres as a living testimoney so that others who are lesser in faith will get spiritual strenght to face sufferings because Christ Himself has suffered before us. Paul contrasts Jars of clay with all spurpassing power and says that all the power is from God not from us, here in his example to compare with clay pots made of earth and dirt, if moulded properly with skilled craftsman they become the vessels of utility with durability. The Holy spirit which fills the empty vessels will become vessels of stored up treasure, all the worthless vessels once filled will quench the spiritual thirst of the lost mankind. The new age truism of believe in yourself is a deceptive and false belief, the power is in Jesus Christ which dwells in us and makes the useless in us useful through him. so believing in oneself will yield no results as we are powerless and weak we cannot resist and defeat the devil, and neither we can save ourselves nor others.
  8. we are light of the world, because we show them the way to others who are in darkness, and the way is to the eternal life which is given by our Lord Jesus Christ, that we should tell them it is called the Gospel. The light which is in us should shine so that the world will see, the good works that we do, that is our testamony by which our God get glory through our works. Our actions and good character will bring glory to God like as said in Romans12:14-18, Be practical in hospitality, bless those who persecute you, bless do not curse, rejoice with thosewho rejoice, mourn with those who mourn, live in harmony with everyone, do not be proud but be willing to be associated with people of low position, to speak of some, which bring glory to God through you. God created us to do good works in this world by God and created everything that is good and he has arranged us to do this good works and spreading good news of salvation.
  9. When we know that we are not capable of saving ourselves and know our weekness we depend upon his soverign power and earnestly seek his intervention, and as we konw he will definitely save us our thirst increas for him and our body longs for him as a thirsty dry land for water. This hunger for God gets deplated and the answer from God according our timeing is getting delayed, we loose our focus and stop seeking Him, we see Abraham was tempted for the long wait for his promised son by his wife Sara to go with Hager and bear a son for her, so at times when we donot wait for the will of God to happen without patience wait hunger for god deplated. For to be renewed to great intensity for hunger in God is keep in constant touch with God all the time in all times of the day and take his direction and intervention and his will and follow Him by the word, and get spiritual guidance from the holy spirit will keep me my huger for God alive and renewed. Fasting helps to a great extent to keepup our spiritual disicpine in order, when we fast we understand the physical hunger of the people who cannot afford a meal, so we should donate and give to such needy, secondly when we fast we are in control of our body whcih controls us otherwise all the time, when the body is in our control we can gain control over sinful activities and have greater success in accessing to God, as He hears quickly the fasting prayer and answeres the hunble.
  10. Light and momentary afflictions will bring us great dispair and troublesome moments but will give eternal weight of glory if we bear them till the end. Suffering will make a person better not bitter because firstly it will teach us how keep ourself humble without pride, as Jesus has suffered for our sins and never retialated we should also learn that, these troubles are only momentary and temperory but our aim is eternal life where there is peace and everlasting happiness, and these sufferings make us to be strong in faith. When suffering happen in our lives it brings us close to God as the pain will make us remember God, as we have seen the life of JOB how with the initial sufferings he was tested and was testified as a humble servent of God who did not curse for his fufferings, as Christ whent through the sufferings to the eternal kingdom to be on the right hand side of the heavenly father, we also keep Christ's sufferings before us and treat all the sufferings we face as minor and simple compared what Jesus has faced here for us. Sufferings change our lifes perception before God and makes us eligilbe to lead a life without suffering eternally, like parable of the rich man in the hell with his throat dry with thirst, on the other hand we see Lazar who suffered here on the earth is now having peace in the presence of the Lord in paradise.
  11. With continued exposere to the presence of God one can see that they will go to church regularly and transform themselves by utilising the time in worshiping, praising, meditating, singing to him, speaking to him through prayers and listing to him through his word and obeying him, drinking the word and the spirit, so as we spend time with Lord it will change us, like Moses spendt time before the Lord and was transformed. Many believers still are in the spiritual infanncy because they do not live by the word of God, for attending sake they attend the Chruch and listen the word, but will not walk according to it and remain where ever there are, without spiritual growth in their life. Deep exposere to God power transforms a persons spiritual life to be in the likeness of Jesus, that is to humble oneself and follow what Jesus gave the two laws that to Keep God our father above all and to love thy neighbour, and always be forgiving, this makes one holy and the holy spirit will transform our life, which people can see in you the change and the glow and acknowledge that this person is in Jesus.
  12. Beholding God's glory to me is to possess the God's glory and reflect it, this is possible when we led by the holyspirit, when we the path Jesus Christ has show us to walk, which Apostle Paul says to walk his way and follow him to Christ. I had experienced this glory of God in my life, as I made up my mind to follow Jesus Christ in all walks of my life strictly, His glory reflected in the from of blessings in my family where my daughter got selected for a top Government job, it reflected God's glory as people acknowledged that by walking in Lord's path this is how He will bless. To experience this on a regular basis with out ceasing we follow our Lord and we can expect more glory contineuosly reflecting throuh us. Temptations and arrogance and not being humble after Lord has elevated us will see one stop reflecting the glory of God, so weather God does miracles in our life or not we should simply follow Him so that His glory is reflected in our life through our humbleness.
  13. The Son of Man's authority is unlimited and his sovereign power is everlasting, that will not pass away and his kingdom will never be destroyed and ends. All the people of all the nations will have to worship Him and praise His name and glorify Him. He has given His power and authority to his disciples to use His name and heal the sick, drive the demons out, and now the same power is given to us also as He has delegated to us to continue the spread of his kingdom. we have unlimited power to use His name to deliver souls from various bondages.
  14. Jesus was gloried even during the trial and crucifixion time also, When Pilate asks Jesus the Sanhedrin's charge that are you the King of the Jews, Jesus says "as you say so" Here he is glorified as king. He says His kingdom is not of this world. In His resurrection He got glorified as told before he came out of the tomb on the third day alive, proving to the world that He is the way the truth the Life for the world, and is sitting on the right hand side of the heavenly Father. The thief and centurion have seen the glory of God and testified, the thief recollects Jesus preaching good news and confesses his sin and praised jesus for seeing his forgiving nature even on the cross when initially he cursed Jesus. The centurion also sees all the ordeal on the Golgotha and the events that followed there and says he is truly the son of God. God's glory is often seen in the suffering because during this period one humbles himself and seeks Gods intervention and the miracles of God happen and the glory of God is visible.
  15. Jesu glory was displayed in his transfiguration, His face shone like the sun and his cloths became white as light, and God the Father spoke and testified saying that "this is my son" listen to Him, so that his three dear disciples will also later go to the world and testify what they have seen and heard. Jesus has performed several miracles by which He got glorified to name a few turned the water to wine, healed the lepers, gave sight to the blind, delivered from devils, raised the dead, He says to us also now that " if you believe you will see the glory of God. The purpose of these miracles is to make believe that He is the son of God.
  16. Jesus glory and kingly authority has origins much before the creation of the world, but we can see his statement in the book of proverbs 8:23-30 speaks clearly how He was in the creation, and John in the new testament 1st chapter clearly states about the light which has come to the world which is dark but the darkness did not recognise nor received it. Hidden - in the sense that He was son of man in human, ate slept cried drank etc, performed miracles healed sick cast out demons and raised the dead, lived holy unblemished and sinless. At present they are still present, as he told his disciples they will perform greater miracles then him and bring people to salvation, now we see that happening.
  17. Jesus is operating now with power of the father in heaven and performing miracles, is itself the sign that the kingdom of God is present now. There are no limitations to His kingdom but at present He did not reveal completely, but when He comes again to establish His kingdom for ever and ever it will be manifested to all.
  18. Jesus saying that the Kingdom is within you and in your midst means that the prophecy is getting fulfilled in His presence and the Pharisees sadducees are not realising that the King of King is amongst them who is going to rule and for that He has come to prepare and alert all the mankind.\ This teaches us that the graceful kingdom of God is at present in the midst us also in the form of His Holy spirit, and in the same way when Jesus was here on earth as Son of man. Today also it implies us to get prepared by rebuking our ways, by repenting and living righteously.
  19. 1. Messiah means to Jews a King who will come from the King David's family a earthly powerful king who will deliver them from the enemy rule and establish a powerful kingdom again because at present they do not have king and kingdom. 2.Daniel's Son of Man exceeded this understanding, because the Jews were thinking of a Jewish King for the Israel nation, but here we see that he has come over to rule all the nations of the world. 3. Jesus used primarily the word Son of Man rather than Messiah because it is leading to blasphemy to the Jewish people and they will not allow Him to spread the word of God and the salvation peacefully.
  20. 1. In Daniel 7: 13-14 we see the one like the son of man who is brought before the Heavenly father who has give him all the power the Glory and all the authority to rule over all the people of the world and His kingdom has no end and it doesn't get dissolved it stays for ever and ever. Here the son of man refers to the Lord Jesus Christ which was fore told. 2. From ancient days he is given the authority and power not after he have to this earth and the son of man. 3. The Son of Man has to be worshipped in this world by everyone and his name is exalted, and His kingdom is everlasting and will never be destroyed nor won by anyone.
  21. The relationship between tabernacle and the kingdom of God in the wilderness indicates that God presence is with them in every walk of life. He is the King and the ruler and the protector who is guiding and blessing through their walk of life to the promised land by living amongest them. This is what happens in the end days where we live in the presence of God who rules us. In the wilderness the God's kingdom and glory came together which can be seen whenever God wants to interact with the Israelites He used to densend upon the tabernacle and the Glory of God's presence can be seen in the form of a Cloud. When God guides them leads them and provides the everything in life what is required it is the Kingdom of God. Which will be replicated by the rule of Jesus Christ in the coming days of the second coming.
  22. Because Moses was talking face to face with God he has got great desire to seek more from God's knowledge and see his Glory. Paul : for the sake of knowledge in Christ he is treating everything to loss, and pressing forward by forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth unto those things which are before. My spiritual hunger towards God is very high, I would like to spend more time with him specially talking to Him ( in Prayer) get more closer to him by understanding His word and most importantly trying to live according to the word which is revealed to me. I would like to satisfy my hunger by being more active in participating and attending every service in the church and outside church to be in constant touch with God all the time instead of wasting time on earthly works.
  23. Gods glory is associated with judgement and consuming fire sometimes because when we don't obey His words and keep grumbling and doing wrong against God. For example 10 spies who reported pople accepted the bad report not the good one. Willful disobedience to God is sin and his Glory will come to destroy for example in the case of rebellion of Korah. Gods holiness and sin cannot co-exist, because sin has no place in Holiness.
  24. 1.Reputation Glory - Is the glory Given to God who is the creator or everything by the creatures that are created by Him like we humans should always give him praises and Glory and on the other hand we read in scriptures that even angles give Glory to God all the time non stop. Example God Got glorified in Egypt in front of Pharaoh and his men by the ten plagues he brought over them. 2. Derived Glory - Is the glory which reflects like the moon reflects the light from sun similarly when we walk by the word of God, we reflect His Glory. Example Moses face shone when he came down from mount Sinai and reflected God's glory physically but we are supposed to reflect it by our works and deeds. 3.Inherited Glory - It is the natural Glory of God which is within in which manifests and Glorifies itself, weather men glorify Him or not He is Glorious and mighty.
  25. Joshua's challenging question to Israelites that day at Shechem was whom do they wish to serve, He read the Gods commandments to them and said that for he and his family will follow the lord, when he questioned them they all said they also will follow the lord wholeheartedly. They were reminded how the Lord brought them out of the bondage and out of Egypt to this promised land of milk and honey. looking at the Israelites at this juncture and to live in this promised land they are supposed to keep lords commandments and walk by it without following the gentile in that land, similarly Gods challenge to me in my live is to keep his commandments and live a life which is set apart from the gentiles and their Gods which all around me, to set an example by living a righteous life by which the gentile will be able to follow our Lord. Meditate on the word of God and lead a life as shown by Jesus Christ, with love and faith try and win over evil in this world righteously.
