The strengths appeared as good on the outside but Heart wasn't into it. Where could a wrong turn have been taken? Strengths may be where you have healed and moved forward, similar to wounds and scars. Similarly, Churches may have strengths such as letter writing which eventually may be used against them to weaken them.

We must pray for humility since humility recognizes its ignorance. It is much better to build rather than destroy. When we are humble we can listen and obey. Our listening will be rewarded with discovery. Humility will be exalted, Jesus is proof of this. We should take Jesus' Yoke upon ourselves and learn.

They are listening to what John heard. The sings/psalms/hymns are a reflection of earthly practices. All the different religious communities/Churches are present. The music/chanting is done to maintain the faith in God and the victory of the Lamb.
