  3. Q1. (Colossians 1:5-6) Paul glorifies the gospel, the good news. What words does he use to describe the action of the gospel in verses 5 and 6? The gospel message produces hope. Hope resonates with people when they began to hear the word of truth. Jesus instilled hope when he spoke words of truth to people who sat in darkness. Hope is based on enduring promises and truth endures forever. The gospel message transcends culture, society, education, bearing the same fruit in all the world and without delay (from the day it was heard). We know them by their fruit. Given the temptation the recipients have to adopt another religious philosophy, why do you think he reminds them of the world scope of the gospel
  4. Greetings It is a joy to see people with a desire to search the scriptures. God used a Bible study and a godly man to overcome spiritual barriers in my life and make a lasting difference. I am an engineer and educator by profession but also served as pastor and made ministry missions to the former Soviet Union during the '90s. The Colossians letter has a special place in my heart and because of those mission trips my ministry has become that of Colossians 1:28
