  1. ILt is frighting because it is final. That there is no way of avoiding it . I think people ressist the idea of a final judgement because they don't know God's word or that they have lost their love for God that they once had and allow thesmselves to be deceived.
  2. He is the only King and the only Lord for me. He has given as He promised. All I have to so is look and I will find it all. This means for everyone around me that He is the and only ruler. That He sees and hears all and that we all will come before Him one day to be judged.
  3. The theme shows admonishment from God by reevealing what it takes to be His betrothed bride and being at the feast. The incouragement is that we who believe in Jesus will be there.
  4. To be " in the world" we are to live and servive by witnessing for Christ. To be " not of the world " we are to live by the commandments of God and nothing else. We should fulfil the comand everyday of our lives by leaving when people are crude. We do not have to particapate in the things they do. By staying we start to think and act as they do.
  5. They teach us how to be thankful that God has chosen to reveal himself to us and teach us how to love Him. They teach us that as long as we are willing to freely follow Him and worship Him that He will be faithful to proctect us. Yes there are a lot of comtemporary songs similar. A few of my favorite ones are, I Can Only Imagine,The Power Of The Resurection, Sing To The Glory of His Name, and Worthy Is The Lamb.
  6. I think it's hard to accept everlasting punishment because of our knowledge of God's love and mercy. Some feel that their punishment was being put here on earth. I feel those people never saw the blessings given to them. Eternal punishment would be considered just, by those who were and are persuctuted or had their right to freedom of the word taken away from them. We as christians are looking at that right here in America today.
  7. The 144,000 show us how we are to live. Putting Jesus and his way of life first and formost. They tell us how we are to act even in the face of evil
  8. I learned that the antichrist and false prophet will deceive all that don't have the word of God written on their hearts. That they will make things seem unbearable without their mark. But those that hold fast to the hope of Jesus our LOrd and Savior will prevail until the end. Jesus is life and hope.
  9. The theme is the destruction of satin. The blood of Jesus is our salvation. Without the sacrfice he and the Father made we could not overcome the evil satin brings us. We have victory if we die because we hold fast to the word and know that Jesus is Lord and savior. The Blood of the Lamb is cleansing, power and protection against evil. Loving ourselves means we reject what God and Jesus did for us. By doing this we alonely lead ourselves to distruction.
  10. This passage tells us that sayin is very angry and that when he can't harm the woman he turns hisanger on the beleivers. The comfort we can draw is knowing that through Jesus we are protected as the woman, when we stay in yhe word and continue to witness.
  11. We are to witness continually, and the Lord will protect as we do His will. Their reward was to be lifted up to heaven in front of all beleivers and non beleivers, to the Lord Almighty who called them to come
  12. The bitter is the judgements that are to come to those that reject Jesus. The sweet is the grace and love God is pouring out to those that beleive in Jesus and the eternity we will spend with Him. I don't know why we tend to reject what we can't understand . I wish I did!
  13. They are men of God from all nations that where slain for the word of God. Their spirits worships the Father God and our savior Jesus. The song AMAZING GRACE is of praise to God for salvation and for the protection given to us all and for the promiae that he will wipe our tears .
  14. We learn that God is patient and lovivg. that He gives the world (people) to ride the world of corruption. We also learn that God has a timetable of his own and that he will punish those that remain in that corruption. The seal is protection against the wrath of God.
  15. 1. We learn that the church has a while longer to repent and come to Jesus for salvation. 2&3. They are under the alter. That they stayed close to the church and the word of God. 4. They where killed for preaching the word of God and for standing on that word. 5. They ask for vengeance because of the unjust blood that was shed for the name of Jesus. 6. I feel that it is a just Christian prayer. 7I think the white robe represents ,santification in Jesus. 8. That souls at the alter are to wait a little longer tells me that God has not given up on the human race yet and is giving them time to listen, learn and repent before Him.
  16. It is the Lamb of God. It is directed against the unbelievers. Yes it is just.
  17. My name is Barbara, and Ihave lived in Arkansa for the past 18 years. I have three children (37,35,32) and I have 14 grandchildren. I grew up in a church but did not know about Jesus until 27. But I really found the Lord and understood his love when I turned 45, the greatest day of my life. I injoy the lessons I've been doing, just wish my new job allowed as much time to study as the last one.
  18. I beleive the significance in the same quality of wprship is to show how pleased the Father is with the Son and to show how they are one. It tells me that they reign together. I see it now as how much they love me as I am. That the love is uncondtional.
  19. Because by beleiving in Jesus we are given power, wisdom and strenght to fight evil in our lives and of those we come in contact with. We could reign of worldly princepalities. We serve as preist every time we give witness and testamonies about God the Father and Jesus. We are a kingdom because we stand together in union with Jesus as a group in the word.]
  20. Because He was slain for our tresspasses. He shed His blood so that we could be saved. Because it gave Him the power, glory and wisdom to stand before God the Father as a mediator for all mankind and to open the seals to bring completion to our lives.
  21. Some are singing His praises, giving Him glory, worshiping Him, loving Him, glorifing Him, lifting hands to Him. But I think the most important is knowing beyond knowing that He holds me every day ,not just when things go wrong.
  22. Being a Charsmatic Christian a lot of our songs are song from a screen without titles but are all praise songs based from scripture. But the one that stands out the most from earlier years of hymn books is How Great Thou Are.
  23. The Churches were criticized for leaving their first love for Jesus, for allowing the worship of idols, for fornication and adultery, and for thinking they didn't need God because they had all that they needed. They were praised for hating evil, and testing through the word what false teachers were teaching them. They labored for Jesus and continued true to their love love for Him through tribulations and poverty. They were praised for holding fast to Jesus nane and their charity, and service, and faith. They were praised for patience and for not denying the name of Jesus. In the twenty first century the church needs to leave go of thier idols (money, drugs, sex ) and come back to Jesus. We need to hate evil. We need to go back to the basics and read the bible to find the truth or lie in what we are being taught. We need to hold fast to the name of Jesus no matter what, and show Him to the world through our charity, service, faith and patience. We need to keep his word and above all we must not deny His name.
  24. A lot of churches are a hotbed of apathy because they have lost their first and formost motivation,JESUS. They have put numbers and money ahead of the love that Jesus taught us to give. To combat spiritual apathy we need to learn to give all of ourselves back to the worship and praise of the who sacrificed the most for our salvation. We need to start talking more about Him and what He is doing in our lives than what we are doing. We need to start telling people about how He does listen and acts to bring us closer to Himself.
  25. The religious compromise was spiritually destrutive because they where worshiping nothing. When you worship to nothing or Satin no good can come to you. Twenty-first century christians compromise true worship to God and Jesus for things they can feel, see, and touch over what they know in there hearts is real. twenty- first cenruey christians worship money over the things God wants to give us. If we would look at what he has already done we would find we don't need anything but Him.
