  1. We must continueally let go of our unforgiveness, if we want something better. We must forgive if we want God to bless us. He can bear a grudge against us. I have never thought of it that way. I do not want my God to have a grudge against me.
  2. Why do we seek to be independent of asking anyone for help? We dont want to rely on anyone, thinking we can do it on our own. Why do we seek to be independent of God? Some think that God is not interested in what they do. They can do things without him they dont need God. Why should we ask God to"give" us daily bread so long as we can earn a living for ourselves? We need to rely on God to supply all of our needs as the psalmist says. God is still on His throne and is interested in all we do and how we take care of our bodies.
  3. IN what sense are we asking that the Father's kingdom should come? For God to manifest himself in us. We want the Lord to come quickly to take us home. Why are we asking for the Father's will to be done here on earth? Wanting Christ to reign over all. How should this prayer affect our living? To conform to God's will for us in our lives. To have Gods will guide us in what we do and say.
  4. What about our lives and words"hallows" the name of our Father? We are to treat our God with respect. He is set apart from sin. Holy and exalted. We should get quiet before God. What descecrates and besmirches it? Taking His name in vain. Not being an example for others to follow. Putting people down. How should we "hallow" the Father when we begin to pray? We need to get quiet before him, giving him the adoration, then the confession, and then the thanksgiving that He deserves as our God.
