  1. Q1. (2 Corinthians 2:14-16a) In what sense is knowing God fragrant to people who are open to God? In what way is this fragrance repugnant to people who are closed to God? Have you suppressed your “fragrance” because some people are allergic to Christian perfume? If so, how can you regain the fragrance of Christ’s gospel?Genesis 8:20-21 Noah builds an alter and sacrifices,it is a pleasing smell to GOD...Aarons Priestly sons offer strange fire/incense in their censers and GOD slays them...1 can tithe but not out of LOVE for GOD and it isnt pleasing to GOD...Our sacrifices must come from obedience/LOVE for GOD or it isnt acceptable to GOD...JESUS ultimate sacrifice His Life was pleasing to GOD and necessary for our redemption & salvation...GOD BLESS
  2. Q2. (2 Corinthians 3:2-3) In what sense are we “living letters”? In what way can people “read us”? Why is it so important to be authentic, not phony, in our lives? What happens when people “read” something in you that they admire and mention it to you? How might you respond appropriately?GOD said that He is going to write a new commandment on the"HEARTS"of men,we were given the 10 commandments written on stone which we would/could not keep.By living with GODS Words in our Hearts people will be able to see/read that you have become a new creature...Because if you live as the secular world how will the secular world be able to see/read that you are a child of GOD???As the saying goes you might be working on what you should be but thank GOD you are not what you use to be...
  3. Q4. (2 Corinthians 2:10-11) How does Satan take advantage of our unforgiveness? What are the symptoms in our own heart of unforgiveness? According to Matthew 6:14-15, how does holding unforgiveness hurt our spiritual lives? What would you have to do to really let go of your resentment and give it to God?There are 3 types of unforgiveness1.Cant forgive others that do things to you,2.Cant forgive things that you have done to self,3.Cant receive forgiveness for what you have done to others...The 3rd 1 you only have the power to ask GOD to forgive you of your sin then put it behind you,but you have no control over if someone else forgives you...The 2nd 1 is just like part of 3 but you ask GOD to forgive you for the things done to self then put it behind you...The 1st is the 1 that satan is using that is going to keep many out of Heaven, yes the others will keep some out but this 1 will fill up hell.satans trick is to keep 1 in remembrance of the hurt/pain that allows you to take your eyes off JESUS.Our Spiritual lives are hurt because there is no right that can be found in any wrong/sin.Love cant reside where there is hate,JESUS is LOVE!!!Receive the WISDOM/understanding to know that when you take sin to the ALTER/JESUS to leave it there, dont get up and carry it back to the pew with you...GOD BLESS
  4. Q3. (2 Corinthians 2:9) How does obedience to servant leaders help the church of Jesus Christ? How does obedience to self-serving leaders hurt the church? Are you obedient to those whom God has placed over you in the Lord? Why or why not? What is the relationship between obedience and church unity?Paul described the Church as a human body,if the servant leader is the brain & a member is the heart. If the heart covets that it wants to be in charge then decides it will stop functioning then the whole body suffers/dies.Churches have been torn apart because of individual PRIDE which Proverbs says comes before the FALL!!!Yes,personally i work better behind the scene...GOD LOVES obedience better than sacrifice,if a Church practices religion(sacrifice)then it will not receive the BLESSINGS of GOD...Abel & Cain both gave an offering but because Abels was from obedience & Cains was from sacrifice(religion)GOD didnt accept Cains...GOD BLESS
  5. Q2. (2 Corinthians 1:24) What does it mean to lord it over someone? What is the balance between (1) good, strong leadership, (2) micromanaging, and (3) a complete laissez-faire approach to leadership? What are the dangers of an authoritative leadership style? What are the dangers of a weak leadership style? That you are a person that other people must answer to,The Roman officer told Jesus that he gave soldiers commands & they must follow his orders,if He spoke His Word that the officers daughter would be healed...Good strong leadership brings to mind how Moses led the Hebrews to the promise land,at times he had to be firm/punish the people such as when he ground up the golden calf and made them drink it.When GOD said He was going to destroy them Moses had to offer himself for destruction to abate GODS anger...When the Elders of Israel came to King Solomons son and ask that he not be as stern as his father,he didnt listen to their wisdom he consulted his peers...That caused the split in the kingdom 10 tribes of the north 2 tribes of the south
  6. Q1. (2 Corinthians 1:21b-22) According to this verse, what does the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives signify? How does the Spirit unite us with God? What is the promise of future blessing inherent in the Spirits presence? It enables us to be/brings us into HOLINESS by consecration and anointing us..."GOD says we are holy because HE is HOLY"Our Faith is developed/increased by the Holy Spirit..."Without Faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to please GOD"He will ALWAYS be with us to lead and guide in this Christian walk which leads to SALVATION"
  7. Q3. (2 Corinthians 1:10-11) Why does Paul ask people to pray for him? How do the prayers of others have an effect? What happened in your life that has helped you enter into a ministry of intercessory prayer?Because Paul knows that Prayer CHANGES things!!!Prayers of the RIGHTEOUS availath much...Coming to understand that there is POWER in Prayer
  8. Q2. (2 Corinthians 1:9-10) How does facing a harrowing crisis help us grow in the Lord? How has a crisis helped your spiritual life? What is the value of learning not to rely on ourselves? What does this do to our pride? How does this improve our effectiveness as God’s servants?Learning the limits of flesh, growing to understand the POWER of GODS SPIRIT...Deeper relationship with JESUS...I have come to understand that the most valuable possession WE have is GODS SPIRIT in US,i was on the path of forsaking it...Humbles it...As John the Baptist said"I must decrease so JESUS can INCREASE"
