  1. Q1. (Matthew 5:3-11) Each Beatitude consists of two parts. What are these parts? Happiness is the first part --- The path that leads to Happiness in the Lord, is the second part. Why do you think Jesus made each Beatitude a paradox? A paradox is given to make man think, for they express opinions contrary to popular opinion. What is the relationship of the Beatitudes to the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23)? Those who practise the works of the flesh will not find happiness, will not inherit the kingdom of God. --- Those who are in Christ are those who's lives exhibit the "fruits of the Spirit" whose lives have found true "happiness."
  2. Q4. Read Matthew 8:5-13; 21:33-44; 22:2-13; 24:14; and 28:19. What do they have in common? Matthew 8:5-13 speaks of a centurion's faith being the greatest in the land, a Gentile, one that is looked down on, one of the lowest came to understand the power Jesus had, all He would have to do is speak the words and it would bring healing. Many pagans would be saved, and many Jews would be lost - we must have the faith of Abraham, or the faith of the centurion. --- I am thankful that Christ came to be a light to the Gentile, the unclean, that He would graft us into the blessings of Abraham. What relation does the visit of the wise men have to Matthew's theme of bringing the Gospel to the Gentiles? The Gospel is for ALL who have FAITH to BELIEVE, and if we believe, we will live lives that bring honor to the King. How should we be applying this mandate in our own lives? Share our faith with others, what better way than to live a life of "Faith" - it speaks louder than words can.
  3. Q3. (Matthew 2:11b) Why was it appropriate for the Magi bring gifts to the Christ-child? The Magi came prepared! They are going before a King! How does the extravagance of their gifts reflect their heart attitude? A heart attitude of "love" of "gratitude" of "honor" What kinds of gifts are appropriate for us to bring? A heart attitude of "love" of "gratitude" of "honor" to The King! Yet these still arn't enough! Is there room in my heart to hold all the treasures our King deserves? I guess I will have to give Him - "me"- all of me. I know He will take my gift and refine it, smooth out the rough edges, and make it shine, make it to be of great value, a great treasure indeed; YES, I will give Him "me" - now I see, that is why He came. This King, God's most precious Gift has been given to mankind! There are no other gifts that God desires from us, but for us to present ourselves to Him, presenting a heart of "love" of "Gratitude" of "honor" for giving to us The King, Christ Jesus the Lord.
  4. Q2. (Matthew 2:11a) What do we learn from seeing the Magi prostrating themselves before the child Jesus? What was the significance of this for them? Honor, humble devotion, worth, respect, allegiance, is seen as the Magi prostrate themselves before the King, paying homage, which is due a King. How can we emulate this kind of worship? By offering up to God our lives, a life showing respect for God's laws, for in them we see His character, in them we pay homage, we show our love for Him. Live a life respecting others, living a life that would please the King, our promise from God.
  5. Q1. (Matthew 2:1-2; Numbers 24:17) What is the significance of the Star of Bethlehem that the Magi saw? (2:1-2) Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him. ---- The Magi had to at some time heard there would be a star, a sign, that a King has been born. The significance of the star is - it was to be a SIGN, the King of the Jews is born. The Jewish people looked for a sign, so they would know it came from God. I believe the star was a supernatural light, a sign from God, and those who studied the stars, knew there was something different about this light, it wasn't anything they ever saw. I believe their "faith" in what they heard grew, this must be the light prophesied, a SIGN indeed. Why do you think the Magi came to find the Christ-child when they saw the star? They came to worship the King. By traveling a long distance and bringing costly gifts, proved to me, the star they saw was by far a SUPERNATURAL sign! Faith brought them to the home of Mary for one purpose, to give honor, to WORSHIP the King of the Jews. In what way does prophecy prefigure this event? Magi were astrologers, they were also interpreters of dreams. If these wise men came from Babylon, they could have heard about Daniel, Daniel who also was an interpreter of dreams, Daniel who gave the very date, prophesied about the Ancient of Days, who would come to rule and reign. The Wise men came looking for the Ancient of Days. I am full of Joy! for I found the Ancient of Days.
  6. Q5. (Luke 2:17-20) Great joy, praise, curiosity, amazement, telling others, thoughtful meditation. Which of these responses to the Good News are present in your life? GREAT JOY - is present in my life, for what Father God spoke through the angels is true! Has come to be! PRAISE - My praise to the Father is a means for me to show my JOY, my Praise to the Almighty is the highest commendation I can give to Him, I praise Him for what He has done not just for me, but for the world, He has sent His only Son, the Messiah, the Promised One! It is sad the world does not have this praise in their mouth. TELLING OTHERS - a witness, God made an everlasting covenant with the Jewish people, a covenant for them to be a Royal Priesthood, a Holy Nation, a Light to the World, so the world would know there is One God; The shepherds went out and I am sure they shouted to the world what they saw and understood to be true, the Messiah has come! I want to be a witness, I am called to be a witness, to tell others -- I do this by living a life that is pleasing to God, being a light to the world, looking for the door to be opened so I may speak of the wonders of God. THOUGHTFUL MEDITATION - this is my time being with the Lord, for I am in the Word. It is my time of being in prayer, having those moments of just being thankful to God for what He has done for me, and not always asking for something. It is those quiet moments of giving PRAISE to Father God for loving me so much He gave His Son, who left His place of Glory, to be made a little lower than the angels, the Savior to the world, the Messiah humbled Himself, He has come as a little babe; For this I give praise and honor to my Savior, my Bridegroom! GOOD NEWS has come and my heart is full of JOY. As the world is calling this a holiday, I call it a Holy Day, for the worlds Savior, God's love has been sent! This may not be the exact day Christ the Lord was born, but for the believers we celebrate this day, in honor, in praise, full of joy, for a Child has been given and from this awesome gift I have been changed, a new creation, what better joy can one have but this? Yes Happy Holy Day to you all.
  7. Q4. (Luke 2:11) What are the three titles of Jesus given by the angels? What does each mean? Savior (soter) one who rescues, savior, deliverer, preserver Christ (christos) anointed, Hebrew mashiah, Messiah Lord owner, master, Yahweh. What does this tell us about Jesus' true identity? Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, the promised One of Israel. The Savior Yahweh promised He would send, has come. Christ the Lord is born. Yahweh has sent His Son, the Savior to the world, He will rescue and rule Israel when He comes back the second time. The Christ child is the promise of God to all who delight in, and are looking forward to His coming again, and to the day He will rule God's Kingdom - As we read in Micah 5.
  8. Q3. (Luke 2:7-8) Why do you think the message of Jesus' birth comes to shepherds, of all people? Shepherds who kept watch would not have been able to enter into the temple to receive cleansing, so they were considered unclean. Who are the first to hear? the unclean, that is us. The flock they were watching could have been those destined for sacrifice. The angel brought "Good News" first to the shepherds, the Jew, but also for ME, the Gentile! "Good News for the World"-- A Savior is born! The Savior of the world, who is destined to be sacrificed. We are like sheep gone astray and in need of a Shepherd, today is born the Chief Shepherd, destined to bring life, to bring cleansing to my soul. That is "GOOD NEWS" Why is Jesus born in a stable with a manger for a bed? This has to be intentional. What point is God making? I have to think about all this prosperity teaching going on in our churches today, and I wonder how it fits in with our Savior being born in a manger?? I think we are missing the boat if we are looking to the riches of this world, and call it God's blessings. God does bless us, He has me and my family, with more than I could ever hope for, but! that is not my goal in life, to get what I can get and call it God's blessings. God did have a reason for His Son to be born in a manger, He could have made room for Him in the Inn, but Jesus came as a suffering servant, and He was willing to do so. He set an example of what a true servant is, there is a cost to being a servant of God. Jesus set the example, true worship comes from the heart, a heart that is not looking to please its wants and desires, but to please the God Almighty, set our hearts on Him!
  9. Q2. Why do you think the journey to Bethlehem was difficult for Mary? When the angel spoke to Mary, there was nothing mentioned on how easy it would be, in fact, Mary knew the road ahead of her would not be easy, she already was part of a people despised by the world: However, Mary knew and loved God, her trust was in Him, this is called "faith" in action, and it pleased God. Is our "faith" in action when things do not go as we want them to go? We must remember, the gate is narrow that leads to the road we must travel. Is pleasure an indication that we are in God's will or not? To answer this, I think about (Matthew 2:16-18) How exceedingly wroth Herod was when mocked of the wise men, and he slew all the children in Bethlehem, fulfilling that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, "in Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not". (Jerimiah 31:15) There was weeping in Ramah, as Rachel the mothers of Israel wept for the children Herod had ordered annihilated in his attempt to kill the Christ Child. As the angels sang "Peace on earth" it also spoke of Bethelehem and how we hear her cry. Israel sees no pleasure at this time, but Jeremiah gives hope to Israel in chapters 30-33. The LORD says "Don't cry I hear the weeping that is going on in Israel, but you don't see what's coming, your children shall return, stronger than ever." Yes, we can experience weeping while in God's will, but, we must remember to stay in His will, for we know what the future holds for those who stay in faith; Good things are coming, the blessings God has for us are so much greater than any hurts and sorrows this world can send our way. Extra Credit: Argue for or against this proposition: "Being a consistent Christian causes more hardships than just going with the flow." I would argue that being a consistent Christian can cause more hardships than going with the flow.------- Going with the flow is following the ruler of this world, Satan. I think about Job, a man blameless and upright, consistent in his faith in God. Satan insisted the integrity Job had was because he was never tested; However, God knew the heart of Job and allowed him to go through this testing. Job had three friends who instead of comforting him in this time of trouble, they tried to show Job the reasons for his suffering, however, Job came to understand what was in his heart, he knew he loved God and didn't deserve such treatment. As God spoke, He did not discuss why the righteous suffer, instead He made it clear----- He is the Almighty, and He always does what is right, His ways are not our ways! It was through these testings that Job came to truly understand how Great God is, and how small mankind is; If man remains "faithful" to The Almighty, it is mans consistent "faith" that brings man into the presence of God; it is then that we can see our greatness in God's eyes. As we stay true to God, then we will know joy that is unspeakble, and as His love comes down upon us, it is then we can truly say, "Even if He slay me, yet will I trust Him." God tells us, "If we love the Son, He will love us also." I would rather be a consistent Christian, then have all the pleasures of this world.
  10. Q1. (Luke 2:1-2) Why does Luke name the rulers in 2:1-2? What point is he making? The point made is - history validates the time and place of Jesus' birth, and the great obstacles as seen in the rulers, who did not make it easy for the coming King.
  11. Q5. (1:24-25) What does Joseph accepting Mary as his wife say about his character? The scriptures tell us, Joseph was a righteous man. Righteousness is the character of God and our source is found in Him. Righteousness is seen first in mans relationship with Almighty God and than with other people. Joseph sought the best for Mary. Joseph's righteousness is seen in his character, looking for a peaceful means to this devastating situation, not only for Mary, the women he loved, but for himself also, for his dream was falling apart. When our dreams are falling apart, is our character still showing the love of God? This is what I want, even if He slay me, yet will I trust Him. We serve an awesome God! What is the significance for prophetic fulfillment of Jesus as a Son of David that Joseph "named" the child "Jesus"? The prophetic fulfillment to the prophecy in Isaiah could have been a fulfillment at that time, however, THE FULFILLMENT was completed in the birth of Jesus, as seen in His geneology, because Joseph named his son - Jesus, a sign that God was with them.
  12. Q4. (Matthew 1:23) How did the prophetic concept of the virgin conception and the name "Immanuel" find their fullness in the birth of Jesus to Mary? The Messiah had to be a direct descendant of King David, a member of the royal family of Israel. (Jeremiah 23:5-6) Yeshua is! --- Matthew 1 The Messiah would be a man, but also more than a man. He would be God in human form. (Isaiah 9:6-7) Immanuel, God with us ----- Yeshua is! History tells us that only one man - Yeshua of Nazareth, fulfilled these prophecies and many others. There isn't another in all history to come even close.
  13. Q3. (Matthew 1:21) What is the significance of the name Jesus? "Jesus" is the Greek word for "Yeshua." Yeshua never heard this name "Jesus," His name given in Hebrew was "Yeshua" meaning - Saviour, to save. In Hebrew, Yeshua is the same as Joshua. Yeshua came to SAVE HIS PEOPLE FROM THEIR SINS. The Jews were called the people of God because Father God, Yaweh, made an everlasting covenant with them, but, "Thank you Father, for The Father sent His Son also to be a "light to the Gentiles." The nation Israel is God's firstborn, called His son. (Ex. 4:22) BUT, Yeshua came that we Gentiles could be adopted into the Family of God (John 1:12-14) The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. "YES, THERE IS SO MUCH TO BE SAID ABOUT THAT NAME - YESHUA, AS I KNOW HIM, JESUS, MY SAVIOUR." Why do you think the angel gave the name to both Mary (Luke 1:31) and Joseph independently? I believe the reason Mary and Joseph were given this name INDEPENDENTLY by the angel was - confirmation of who "Jesus" is, yes! He is "salvation" for the people, sent by Yahweh, to fulfill the scriptures, Hope for the people of God. Unity was also important, especially at this time in their life. A name in Bible time had great meaning. They believed there was a connection between the person and the name it identified the person to be. It would represent the nature of the person. The parents choosing a name for their baby, would reflect the circumstances of the child's birth, their own feelings, and their gratitude to God. It was important the child be named "Yeshua" and for Mary and Joseph to come to understand fully that this child was from God, and their agreement on this name, it spoke of their "faith" in God and the Son they would have.
  14. Q2. (Matthew 1:19) What were Mary's options being pregnant and carrying a baby not her husband's? She could have been stoned, Joseph could have divorced her, leaving her with a stigma of shame that would follow her, she could have faced this period alone, alone as far as the world goes. But, Mary didn't give it a second thought, she believed the truth spoken to her. Mary, a true believer in God Almighty, relied on her "faith" and "trust" in the true God, the God that she loved; As we see in the words Mary spoke, the words that came from her heart, "My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour." (God elected Mary for just a time as this, and her soul chose to magnify the Lord)---- A good lesson for us, when what seems to be the impossible comes our way, will we still choose to magnify the Lord, stay in "faith? What kind of character did Joseph exhibit by deciding to divorce Mary quietly and leniently? Joseph was espoused to Mary, as far as the law goes, legally married; but! consummation was not to happen until the marriage festival. It was during this period, if for any reason one felt they could not be married to the other, they could divorce. Joseph loved Mary and wanted to live with her the rest of his life! He had chosen her to be his wife. At first he thought of divorcing Mary and doing it quietly, this is a sign of a righteous man. He could have charged her with immorality, thinking only about himself, how could she have done such a thing? Joseph decided he would show mercy to Mary. BUT, Joseph was not sure about divorcing the woman he loved, the women he knew loved God, Joseph spent time thinking on this, giving it much thought, "is this what I want, how can this be, can I put Mary away? -- Joseph's character stands out, he wanted to do the right thing, this is what righterousness is all about, this is why Joseph gave it much thought, he wanted to do what was right, this is what love does too, this is why God tells us to "love one another." It is a sign of a righteous person.
  15. Q1. What would Jesus have learned as the son of a carpenter? Carpentry is a learned skill, developed through hard work, with the results seen in the work of ones own hand. Hard work does not always bring wealth as seen by the worlds standards, but when a person uses the strength that God gives to better the world and those around him, money can't buy that kind of wealth, for it is the inner joy that comes with using what gifts God as given to us to be used. God is often symbolically portrayed as a master builder, He built the throne of David (Ps. 89:4) Jesus is our chief cornerstone. What experiences would this have exposed him to? Under Joseph's leadership as a righteous man, Jesus learned many important things pertaining to life as a human, one of them being, things don't just come about on its own, it takes a leader, one who is not afraid of hard work, one who is thankful for the gifts they have been given by God, and uses them. Joseph set a good example to his family, living a life of trusting in God, Joseph set an example seen in the way he provided for and loved his family, as a righteous man he taught his family the Torah, and the importance of having faith and obedience to God. Jesus, our chief cornerstone, set the example, set the foundation for us on how to love one another, build on this, love one another.
  16. Q5. (Luke 1:42-43) In what sense are the titles "Blessed Virgin Mary" and "Mother of God" appropriate for Mary? Elisabeth who was FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT understood what the angel had said to Mary in Luke 1:28 "Be happy Mary, for God Almighty has honored you, you have found favor in the eyes of God Almighty, He sees your heart and has chosen you to be a vessel to bring the Messiah, the Son of God, to the people." The Jewish people were looking for the Messiah to come. Lord, is also a word given by the Jews to their expected Messiah. Elisabeth being filled with the Holy Spirit, understood this blessing bestowed upon Mary. She will be Mother of the Lord, the Messiah, the King of the Jews. Why are we sometimes hesitant to exalt her as "blessed among women"?I have no idea why anyone would be hesitant to call her "blessed among women"--- BLESSED means - to speak well of. Mary, a remnant of a true believer in God Almighty, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, in a time filled with hatred towards the Jewish people and the King that they claim will come, stood faithful to Him. Yes, Mary was blessed, honored to have found such favor with God. I too speak well of Mary and I give her my gratitude for being that vessel, for being a true remnant, a true Jewish believer, standing strong in her "faith" and "love" for God Almighty, for I too have been blessed when I received her Son as my Lord.
  17. Q4. (Luke 1:38) What is the essence of Mary's positive response to the angel? Mary, a young Jewish woman, a remnant, a true believer in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, heard God's Word spoken and "faith" built up in her. (This is why we must be in the Word, so "faith" can build up in us) she was ready to be God's servant, such an honor, for she found favour with God. In what sense was Mary's response an "informed consent"? Luke 1:38 It was after Mary spoke the words of faith "I am the Lord's servant. Let everything you've said happen to me," that the conception took place. Without "faith" it is impossible to please God. When we respond to God, what do we consent to? To be a servant of His, stay in "faith" -- I think often of His words to me, "If you love me, keep my commandments." As a servant, I strive to love Him.
  18. Q3. (Luke 1:35) What does the virgin conception teach us about Jesus' nature? The nature of Yeshua is the presence and power of God with us. Yeshua is-God in human form, Holy, Mighty, the Anointed One, the Son of God. In the Transfiguration God showed that Yeshua is His one and only son, superior even to the two great Old Testament figures, Moses and Elijah. God's voice speaking from the cloud, which marked God's presence. The disciples heard that Yeshua was God's beloved Son, the chosen one with whom He was well pleased. How central is the doctrine of the virgin conception to the Christian message? First, we must have "faith" in God Almighty and in His words spoken to us, "the Holy Ghost came upon Mary," therefore the Son of God would be holy. If we do not believe God's word, we are a people who have no hope. It is a central part of my "faith" in God Almighty. He spoke it and I believe it.
  19. Q2. (Luke 1:34) In what way does Mary's "How?" question (1:34) to the angel's declaration differ from Zechariah's "How?" question (1:18)? Mary did not question Gabriel's statement as Zacharias did, she questioned the methodology. Why was Mary rewarded and Zechariah disciplined? Mary believed what the angel said, Zechariah believed not the words spoken.
  20. Q1. (Luke 1:31-34) What did the angel's announcement say about who Mary's Child was? He was the son of the Highest, the supreme God, who is control. What did the angel say who he was to become? He will be mighty, He will be successor of David in the kingdom, he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; there will be no end to His kindgom.
  21. I like how you answered this! I is impossible to please God without faith.
  22. Q1. (Psalm 24) What does it mean that David desires to "dwell in the house of the Lord"? David desires to always be in the presence of the Lord, a place of safety. David wants to establish himself in the house of the Lord, to dwell with God everywhere he goes, at all times, being in the Lord's presence is where David wants to settle. So do I. What does it mean to "seek his face"? Seeking is an earnest desire to know God, search out with the intention of finding God, yearning for personal intimacy with the Almighty, seeking a personal hearing before the Lord Himself! All people who want to dwell in the house of the Lord, will seek His face; Will want to know how to please God, for it is rooted in the heart of the believer, Seek Him and we will find Him! How does David provide hope at the end of this Psalm? Lift up, you everlasting doors! The King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of Glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Jesus is our hope of glory!! Matt 21:4-5 All this was done that it might be fulfillled which was spoken by the prophet, saying: Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold, your King is coming to you, lowly, and sitting on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey - Jesus! Rev 19:16 (Christ is) KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS, His second coming on a white horse! It is through Christ, the KING OF KINGS that we may come before the face of God Almighty, it is because of Christ that we may have an intimate relationship with God and may dwell in the house of the Lord forever! Thank you my KING OF KINGS, Christ Jesus.
  23. Q3. (Psalm 139). In what way does the wonder of creation in the psalm seem to affect the psalmist? There is no where in all of God's creation that David would find himself seperated from the presence of God and His protection, for God has a hedge behind and before him. In his concluding prayer in verses 23-24, what does he ask God to do? This seems much like his prayer in 19:14, David asking God to search his heart, he doesn't want sin to be there; David is longing for a perfect world where there is no more evil, longing to enter into life everlasting, in a world that God created in the beginning, walking daily in fellowship with the Almighty God with a clean heart
  24. Q2. (Psalm 19) Verses 1 to 6 seem very different from verses 7 to 13, but there is a common thread that relates the first part to the second part. What is it? The law of creation and the law for God's creation. In what way does the psalmist seem to bask in God's Word? David basks in the Word because in it he sees God's perfection, just as the heavens declare His glory, God's law is perfect, it is a way for mankind to grow, perfecting them, making them wise onto the ways of God. As the heavens declare to all peoples the knowledge of the universe; God's law is knowledge for the soul, better than gold and sweeter than honey, giving God's servant a warning, do not let sin have dominion over His servant, following in God's law, the soul can be found blameless before God. Have you ever felt that way? Yes, oh yes. This is why I study God's Word, I want Him to call me friend. The law is knowledge for my soul, a way for me to grow closer to the Lord God. God's mercy and grace was given to mankind through His Son Jesus, with it comes power to overcome sin, not letting sin become a habit in the believers life. God's Word is knowledge to me, just as the sun comes up each day and sets each night, so is the law the same, never changing, so I must not continue in sin, letting it become a habit, for my soul will become hardened by the deceitfulness of the sin. In the classic prayer of verse 14, what is David asking God to do? Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer. Let the words I speak and the thoughts of my heart be acceptable to you God. It is You I want to please. I do not want the flesh to continue to feed my desires, I ask that you fill my heart with the words you want me to speak, let my heart reflect the love I have for you Oh God.
  25. Q1. (Psalm 8). What does this psalm teach about God? O LORD (Yahweh) our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. When Moses asked God, "when I come to the children of Israel who shall I say sent me?" Exo 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. David is praising his God, the Eternal One. The God of his fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Everywhere is his name excellent, the universe cannot contain His glory, words cannot describe what is in the name of our "Lord" - look at the beauty found in His fingers as seen in His creation, and of the universe in all its wonder! Exo 3:15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, (Lord -Yahweh) hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations. What does it teach about human beings? In all the excellence of His creation God created mankind a little lower than the angels, mankind was to rule over His creation, God "crowned him with glory" What does it teach us about Christ? God created mankind, (Adam and Eve) in His image, but mankind sinned - Gen 5:1-3 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; male and female created he them, and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image. When sin came into mankind, we were no longer created in the image of God, this is why we must be born again, we need to be brought back into a covenant relationship with Yahweh. Yahweh loved mankind that He sent His only Son Jesus to be made a little lower than the angels, so Jesus could take back the dominion over God's creation that mankind lost. Jesus was crowned with God's glory and it is through Him we are being created once again into His image. How excellent is Your name in all the earth! What does it teach about our responsibilities? Now that we are being created in God's image, it is our responsibility to put on all the armor of God, so we can be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. The I Am loves us so much, O LORD (Yahweh) our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
