he expects god to fulfill his plan of salvation until the end.it is only god who makes this possible because we can never rely on ourselves to become righteous.we can only depend on god who has declared us to be his own.the basis of paul's confidence is dependent on god's faithfulness,,,that he will surely bring to completion the gift of eternal salvation

there cannot be a slave without a master,thus a slave in this context is referring to a person who has a master which in this case is referring to our lord jesus christ as the master...the master is an authority who requires absolute obedience to his demands or orders.the slave is expected to follow orders. a saint refers to holiness but this holiness is only made possible in reference to the holy spirit that dwells in the believer given by the grace of god.being a saint refers to the master of that believer in christ,thus being a slave and a saint are terms used in reference to one's relationship with that same master,who is our lord and savior,jesus christ.

by being financial partners, paul says we receive not only spiritual blessings but material blessings as well.Beyond financial support,we can also offer our love which i believe is in offering our prayers or support in sending other brothers to them to perform or share in their given tasks.

discernment makes one discover what is best and in this knowledge,one can act in a way that is pleasing to god which is being able to do what is blameless and pure.in so doing,it gives back glory,honor and praise to our god. selfishness causes one to please only oneself rather than the object-the person of such love.this makes it difficult to understand the other person's needs which prevents love from developing or progressing into a more meaningful and deeper relationship which i call "committment"to the person involved. when everything works,there is a tendency not to look for more ,thus it is not surprising to be content in such a given situation.this then may fail someone from more aspirations to something that could have been what is the best.
