God is the God of all comfort. He will be the strength, stay, comfort, encouager, whatever anyone needs. God has given his Son to pay the price for OUR sins. He has saved us from what we really deserve-hell. We must trust in the Lord for redemption and freedom.

It is because of God that we exist and have our being. At any time He could 'zap' us and we would be in His presence in heaven. We should praise him continually-in I Thes 5:18 says in everything give thanks-who do we thank?? The Lord!! so many times our circumstances get in the way and we can't see past the immediate to see what God is doing in our lives. We need to focus on thanksgiving. When we praise continually it is then that God can be honored and glorified through us. Every time something happens I try to automatically thank the Lord.

They are rejecting Christ who is the head cornerstone. He is our rock and eternal salvation. When we come to the Lord-he is blessed and we are to love and serve him inconditionally so that he will be honored by our life.

This psalm is one of praise!! It makes me feel safe and secure that God is all that he says he is. God is good, he is awesome, he is holy. This psalm doesn't even do him justice.

A broken and contrite heart is one that has sought God's forgiveness and has done a total turn-around from that sin. When a sin is committed, a truly repentant heart is what God asks for and desires. Being "sorry" means you won't do it again. To have a contrite heart one has to be humble in order to see sin as God sees it.

Once we pray and tell God how sorry we are for our sin and ask forgiveness, we do have a clean heart. God promised to restore our fellowship with Him at that point. A pure heart is one that seeks to not sin and continually confesses any wrongdoing. An undivided heart is one that seeks to please God to the fullest. Once we sin, we must ask forgiveness for our fellwoship and relationship with God to be restored.

When we sin, we ultimatly sin unto God. He is not minimizing his sin, he is merely humbling himself before God. David is referring to the original sin. No matter who we are, we are born in sin. We need Christ's strength to overcome any sin.

The Holy Spirit inspired men of God to write the Bible and Psalm 22 is one chapter that is prophesying Christ's crucifixtion. Jesus knew it was referring to Him because he inspired it.

As He was hanging on the cross, he had just had the sins of the entire world on his shoulders. God couldn't look on him at that time because of sin. But God raised him from the dead and he now sits on His right hand.

He is referring to the Trinity. He is God. God is our Father, friend, stay, comfort. He is everything and all that we need. God is also a jealous God and if someone does not serve Him, he will have to pay the price. Things have to be done decently and in order.

His is the Almighty. He is on the throne. It talks of Him. No Lord, no life. His is the life.

I have been singing a lot of praise choruses this week. It is always uplifting to sing praises to my heavenly Father.

Where would we be without love. It is the bedrock of our faith. love, edify, charity, trust, faith. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

God's majesty!! How majestic is His name!!! Merciful. Forgiveness, gracious, compassion-they are all so important to me!! Everyone should and needs to praise the Lord cause he is the maker and creator of all. I try to verbally give praise to give God the honor and glory for what he does in my life.

God never ceases to amaze me with His love and forgiveness to me. He is my rock. His Word is always what I need.

God is so awesome!! He forgives me, redeems me, satisfies me, merciful, gracious, slow to anger, and full of mercy-I couldn't survive without any of them. They saw how God took care of them through the entire 40 years. How better to understand God when you have nothing else!! God's forgiveness has no limits!!!!!

The Lord is King cause He owns everything!!! The requirements are he who stands on the holy hill; receives righteousness.We are to lift up our hands, heads cause he is strong and mighty and he will come in. God is in control of everything I need not worry.

The people were remembering how the Lord delivered them in previous times and now is asking Him to do the same. They were in need of deliverance. I must remember that as long as I am faithful, God will bless-in His time. Whatever I sow I am going to reap. If I sow goodness and faithfulness and things honoring to God He will bless.

Only God is worthy of our praise for WHO He is. He is the omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent one and the only one who is! If we fail to give God the glory He is due, then others will not be brought to Him and we will be robbed of a blessing of bringing honor to Him.

We don't enjoy going through difficult circumstances. We want to whine and complain instead of praising God for them. When in fact, if we praise Him, our 'problems' don't seem so big. We need to look at them as now how big our problems are, but how Big our God is!!! When we praise through everything God is glorified, our faith is strengthened and our problems don't seem so huge. That is when we can see how big God really is!!!

I am going through a stressful time right now and I found something on the 23rd Psalm. It talks about God's faithfulness; his keeping; his provision; his comfort; on and on. God knows exactly what we need and when!!!!

Rest....what do you do when you rest? Your total weight is relaxed on the bed, your mind is slowing down; your breathe easy. God is the same-put my whole weight of what is on my heart and mind on Him and let Him take control. I can put my mind at ease and know that God is in control. God can do anything.

Speaking of a river always seems to bring a calming effect to all. When you sit by a flowing river, it seems so peaceful-so too when we are quiet enough to listen to God we are at peace. When we can 'be still' God speaks to us and comforts us or admonishes us.

Giving Christ everything. You total being belongs to the Lord. I commit everything I am and will be to Him. What better rest is there? knowing that I am totally in God's hands I don't have to worry about anything!!!

He restrores my soul; he leads me in paths of righteousness; he is with me. We don't need to want for anything. He supplies all we 'need'
