  1. Christ represents God's wisdom because Christ is reality and truth. He guides us daily because He is all-wise. Righteousness, which Christ took to the cross for the sins of everyone, everywhere so we as believers will be blameless before God. Because Christ died for our sins He presented us holy before God. God sets us apart from those who are not holy. Christ blood redeemed us from our sins once and for all!
  2. Many stumble of the fact of that a virgin human woman, was impregnated by God's Holy and gave birth to God's only begotten son. Who chose to died for our sins, and then rose on the third day. The only way that I know to help bridge that gap is praying for them that the Holy Spirit gives them wisdom and understanding regarding Christ our Lord's birth, death and resuresurrection. Like Paul said, "Christ is the power and wisdom of God". There is no watering down the plain truth of the gospel. The Holy Scriptures are God's Words plain and simple. Paul made a statement of truth in 1 Corinthians 1:25, "For the foolishness of God is wiser than mans wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength". You can't alter the truth.
  3. Same sex marriages vs the marriage of one man and one woman. Christian teens talking about Christ vs world teens cursing, drinking and partying. Christians value God fighting their battles vs worldly violence against each other. Christian teaching values putting God first vs. world teaching loving you first.
  4. What I see is some Christians acting better than others, acting like they don't want a less fortunate person to touch them. The biggest thing is "he said, she". Paul says they quarrel, strife and discord. Paul also says the Corinthian church family need to be united and on one accord. Basically the same thing that was seen in the church at Corinth, a lot disagreeing, Christians not liking each other. We must center everything around Jesus Christ our Lord. He brings unity, not division.
  5. God gives us strength through studying the Bible, prayer, surrendering our lives to Him, fellowship and reaching out to others. God gives of faith through His forgiveness of our sins. God is faithful and trustworthy. God is the one person I trust and is so worthy of my praises. We also are given fellowship with God's only begotten Son Christ Jesus our Lord.
  6. Honestly speaking, not enough. That's what I'm working. And since I have been working on thanking God for blessing my enemies or those I don't like, I feel a lot more relieved. I have turned it all over to God. Paul thank God for His grace and free merited favor for them because they were pagans before they came to know Christ. Paul specifically thanked God for the Corinthians gifts of utterance and knowledge.
  7. "Called to be holy or called to be saints", mean all those everywhere who call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ are saints. The Bible says, those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. It's comfortable to say I'm no saint because of our sins. The life style that the person(s) are living and not ready to give up. When you are sanctified, you have to set yourself apart from things of this world. We live in the world but are not of this world because we belong to God and He uses us for His purpose. The world expects for those who are followers of Christ to be perfect in their daily lives. But, the Bible teaches that "all have sin and have fall short of the glory of God". Meaning, as saints we are not perfect. We are saved by God's grace and mercy.
  8. The problem that Isaiah faces is people who resist the truth can only be brought to repentance by telling them the truth again. But if they reject the truth a second time, and a third, and a fourth, they become increasingly hardened in their resistance. Their pride and rebellion have reached such a stage that most likely they will misperceive the truth they do hear. If Isaiah were to sugar-coat the message some people might be "healed," but not deep in their souls where the work must be done. This creates those people who really believe that they are believers but don't possess none of the fruit of a believer. In Jesus preaching the gospel there no frustration, as a matter of fact there seem to be peace within Him. There is always hope, that is what we must hold on to.
  9. Isaiah is overcome by his own sense of smallness, unworthiness, and sinfulness. I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the Lord Almighty. God sent His Angel touch his mouth with a hot coal from the altar of God and his guilt was taken away, and his sin was atoned for. Seldom had anyone had such a vision of Yahweh and lived to tell the tale. Even Moses was shielded so he did not see a full vision of Yahweh. Isaiah felt his own total sinfulness and uncleanness that he didn't want to be in God presence. One thing I do know and is what goes into the mouth doesn't caise the sin, but what comes out does!
  10. In Isaiah's vision he is in the huge palace or temple of Yahweh. In the temple is an elevated throne, and on it is the Lord, seated in grandeur, high above all others. The Angels chanted 'Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.'
  11. After all of the care put in, in digging, planting and building the grapes came up bad. God said He will make it a waste land, good for nothing. What more could I have done? asks Yahweh. I have given the grapes every opportunity to grow fruitfully and well but all that comes back is bad grapes. The bad fruit represents the gross injustice and unrighteousness that abound in the land. The vineyard is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah are the garden of his delight. When He looked for justice He only saw bloodshed. And for righteous He only heard cries of distress.
  12. Belief in the one true God will br universal. There will be no more belief in pagan gods, no more wars only peace and everyone on one accord, worshipping the one and only God almighty! What peace we will have when that great day come. This will be the greatest revival of all times.
  13. They do not follow in his ways, but instead are wicked and rebellious. Also, they are confused about their own identity as children of God. That's like human children rebelling against their own mother and father. Some children even disown their parents just so they can continue doing wrong. The sons of Judah insulted God. The consequences today are the same as yesterday. God heart is hurt and He has to turn His back until you learn from your mistakes. When you come back to God, His arms will be open wide to receive you. God is sick of their utter hypocrisy. Their gross injustice is completely contrary to what God has taught them. Their hands is full of blood. God wants them to learn to do right than doing evil all the time. They don't understand the terrible state they are in. God is willing to forgive and cleanse them, but if they continued to rebel, their future will be terrible.
  14. The apostle Paul stated it perfectly. "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain." (1 Corinthians 15:58, RSV) Our work for the Lord is never in vein but is our ticket to eternal life.
  15. Christ resurrection is our hope for eternal life through our physical resurrection, not disembodied immortality. Christ was the first of those who have fallen asleep (died) and was resurrected. Christ is the first to be raised from the dead. Because of His death and resurrection, He open up the doors for us to also be resurrected.
  16. Through baptism we are buried with Christ, and raised to live a new life for Christ. We are united with Christ through baptism and will be resurrected with Christ. Being co-raised with Christ at the resurrection shows God grace toward us.
  17. Jesus Christ death on the cross atoned for our sins, and His resurrection pardon our sins and makes us blameless before God. It validates our salvation. If Christ has not been raised our faith is futile and we are still living in our sins.
  18. Jesus would have been labeled a liar and untrustworthy considering He predicted it ahead of time. Also, for us there would be no hope of eternal life, just a burning hell for our sinful souls. For me that thought is scary. Jesus' resurrection is God's vindication of Jesus' life, ministry, person, and divinity. Jesus died as a criminal but was tortured worst than any criminal. Because of Christ obedience to the Father, He laid down His life for us and God raised Him from the dead on the third day. God said, "this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" (Matthew 3:17).
  19. The most compelling to me is the empty grave and undisturbed grave clothes because this gives me hope in being resurrected after death when Christ comes back. I would share the Good News about Christ death and resurrection which gives us new hope for the future and death is not the end, but the beginning of eternal life. (Acts 2:24, Acts 2:32, Acts 4:33). My belief in Christ resurrection is that no one can tell me any difference because it is foretold in the Old Testament and was carried out in the New Testament is all the proof you need.
  20. The disciples were afraid for their own lives, discouraged, and heartbroken after Jesus Christ crucifixion. Men do not risk their lives and suffer martyrdom for a lie. The disciples' psychological state following Jesus' crucifixion and their disbelief in His resurrection proves they could not have stole the body. When they saw Jesus for themselves that's when they believed in His resurrection and their lives were changed forever.
  21. Neither the Jews or Joseph of Arimathea had any reason for stealing the body. The only motive the Romans would have to steal the body is to have people believe that His body was stolen and not resurrected.
  22. On the theft theory, what motive might the disciples have to take Jesus' body? What motive might the Romans have? The Jews? Joseph of Arimathea? The disciples had no motive for taking Jesus body because it would prove their lack of faith in Christ being the Son of the most high God. The Romans had no real motive for stealing the body.
  23. First of all, I have a hard time with liberal Christian scholars claiming to be Christians. There is no way that I can believe they are Christians, considering the word Christian is those who believe in Jesus Christ who died for our sins, then was raised from the dead. You can't explain away the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. It's like this, you either believe it don't believe. There is no middle. It's unhistorical to them simply because they are really not Christians at all. They can't believe that He was raised from the dead because they are looking at Christ as just being a regular man. Christ is the only begotten Son of the most high God.

  25. There are several differences regarding Jesus resurrection in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The time of day when they went to the tomb. Another difference in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John is Matthew said "a angel rolled back the stone". A angel that he stated was on the outside of the tomb. Mark said "entering into the tomb they saw a young man sitting on the right side. Luke states that when they went inside, "two men stood by them. John states that "two angels were in the tomb, one where Jesus head was and one at his feet. Even though the eyewitness accounts were different, people see things different from another person. The credibility of the witnesses even though they are different, they are similar and believable. the point they were trying to get across is Jesus' resurrection which is clearly stated in all four gospels.
