  1. He is without sin. A newly born lamb is without blemish. Christ was born without blemish and took on our sins. He is the only one who could take away our sins. Christ took away our sins once for all. He is my Lord and Savior. He died for a poor sinner like myself. I use to say when I first got saved, Christ looked down over 2,000 years ago and saw a poor sinner like me and knew I was going to need Him to die for me.
  2. We are to live holy just as He is Holy. The sheep are those that obey Him. And the goats are those who disobey Him, they will be in eternal hell.
  3. Jesus is declaring His divinity which is fully one with the Father. Both is personal to me because God the Father is my creator and God the Son is my Savior.
  4. If Jesus is our Lord we are to obey Him immediately, there should be no thought about it. If we don't obey Him, He is not our Lord. I fall short in some areas of my life and I take it Jesus because He is the only one that can make me strong physically and mentally.
  5. Lord Jesus is the exalted one because He is fully God. Jesus divinity is the He is God the Son.
  6. The Son of God is sitting on the right hand of the Father and is be only begotten of the God who is God also, He is fully divine as God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. We are not God nut only humans and that makes us different. God is our creator. He is fully fully divine and is God the Son. He could have came the from the cross whenever He wanted to but He loved the Father and love us. He wanted to make a way for us to get to heaven instead of going to hell.
  7. The Father put His Spirit in The Son. God the Son came to earth as a man with God's Spirit within Him. The Son loved the Father as the Father loved the Son. It makes sense to me be a use the Son was also God therefore part of the Godhead. No human could have done what Jesus did. God the Father love us so much that God the Son came in down and born in fresh to die for us. There is no greater love than the love of God.
  8. The title Son of God is a divine title that is part of the deity, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. They are three persons in one. All three are equal as the Godhead. Dealing with the Son is like dealing with the Father both are God. Yes, I do know Jesus the Son of God and I worship Him and give Him all my body, spirit and mind to live as He wants me to live.
  9. It means to believe in Him being God's Son who came to redeem us by dying in our place. Jesus is our master, teacher and best friend. All we have to do is believed in Him being the Son of God who was born man. I would rather listen to Christ than to listen to sinful things of this world. I keep my mind on Christ because He knows what best for me. I give Him all the honor, praise and worship because He is my master and teacher.
  10. The seven tribes of Judah were branches where all their descendants sprung from. We know from what we were taught in school a root is the source of a tree's life. The branches are extensions from the axis of a tree. Both of these metaphors are based on the idea of a family tree. which sometimes Jesse (David's father) and sometimes David himself designated as the root and branch.
  11. They were angry because the little children was also shouting "Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!'" The Son of David signify that He is descendant from David, offspring of David. They were angry because the little children was also shouting "Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!'" The Son of David signify that He is descendant from David, offspring of David.
  12. There is no particular prophecy is far or more than the other. All of the prophecies are my favorite. (Isaiah 11:12), Isaiah foresees the Messiah bringing in a time of peace and rest for God's people. (Isaiah 9:6) The Messiah is called "the Prince of Peace", meaning the one who brings peace. (Isaiah 11:10-12) Isaiah indicates that Messiah's reign will be a time of righteous rule, conquering of enemies, of the regathering of the Jews that have been scattered through exile. There are many others, but too many to put here.
  13. The Word Christ in Greek means Christos, the anointed one. In the verb tense it means to rub, anoint, smear with oil. In the Old Testament Christ means messiah. In those days God spoke through His prophets. God chose the ones He put in service and the prophets anointed them for the service. God wanted to build a house for David that would last forever over all his generation after him. This was called the David Covenant.
  14. Jesus is our mediator between God because He paid the price in full for our sins. That is why if we do sin we have Him as advocate to God. He is our go between person because cause we can't go to God ourselves. When we ask for forgiveness, Jesus speaks for us to the Father. We must keep the peace and reconcile the differences for others to come into agreement with each other. We always got to ask ourselves "What would Jesus do".
  15. In humanity He suffered and bore all our sins upon Himself. We as believers can sense His sorrows when He called out "My God, My God why have you forsaken me". Jesus was in great sorrow during those times leading up to crucifixion, and during His crucifixion. But the earthly Jesus also had great joy in His life by preaching the kingdom of God, socializing with people, healing people and He loved His apostles. Overall, He was a peaceful and happy earthly man.
  16. I know He is all in all, the mighty one who was born to die for my sins. He is worthy of my worship and praise, and He has all glory. Jesus was given this power so all man on earth would obey Him. His rule is eternal and would never end or be destroyed.
  17. He resembles a man and comes on the clouds of heaven. He approaches God and receives authority, glory and power. People worships Him all over the world in many languages and possess an everlasting kingdom. Jesus pre-existent in heaven before He came to earth as the Messiah. Jesus has authority, glory and power over the entire world and everything in it. Jesus identified Himself on earth as the Son of Man.
  18. Our truth is a world view of truth, Jesus Christ is truth and is Holy. Jesus wisdom consist of knowing our thoughts and the Holy Bible is His Word, truth and wisdom which was given to us in order to live a spiritual life instead of worldly life. I feel that prayer and studying will help me to hold on to Jesus Christ truth and wisdom.
  19. Jesus was a true and faithful witness because He lived up His word to God by dying on the cross. Jesus is definitely true and faithful to His word in my life. Everything He say in the Bible that He will do, He is always doing in my life. I can count on Him to live up to His word in every area of my life.
  20. Jesus is the very expression of God, He was with God from the beginning. Because He was with God and is God. He is the very essence of our being. We need to focus on Him, He is God in the flesh. He was born of a woman to die for our sins.
  21. Q1. What is your relationship to Jesus as your Rabbi? How often do you come to him to teach you? How do you receive his teaching? How teachable do you think you are? I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as my teacher. I come to Him daily to teach me, sometimes more in one day. I receive His teaching through pray and studying the Bible. My mind and heart through the Spirit is always searching answers and how should I approach things in my life. In other words, I don't jump before praying to Him. He has all the glory. If you listen to Him He will give you the answer according to the Bible.
  22. Q4. How did Jesus' disciples use his name when they healed and cast out demons? Do we have this kind of authority, or was it only for the apostles themselves? In what way does speaking or acting in Jesus' name demonstrate the concept of power of attorney? Why are we sometimes afraid to speak or act in Jesus' name? How might hearing his voice about a particular matter alleviate that fear? They spoke and acted like Jesus Christ in His place with authority. We have the same authority the apostles had at that time. It demonstrates the concept of power of attorney by using Jesus name He has given His name for us to act in behalf of His kingdom. Sometimes we fear that what we pray for don't align with God's will for us. Other times we fear that we will fail. It will alleviate that fear knowing that Jesus is with us.
  23. Q3. What does it mean when you pray "in Jesus' name"? Do you use the phrase "in Jesus' name" as you pray? Why or why not? How does praying "in Jesus' name" limit what we will pray for? There is power in the name of Jesus. To pray in Jesus name means to believe in Him that whatever you ask from God I will bring fulfilled in Jesus name. He is our mediator and the Son of God. It's about seeking Him and His will for us in Jesus name. Yes, but cause I believe it is going to come to past what I pray for in Jesus name. When people hear us, they are hearing Jesus through us. Praying in Jesus name limits what we pray for because we are not seeking what we want but we are seeking God's will for us.
  24. Q2. In what ways does taking Jesus' name on ourselves, or identifying ourselves with him, open us to shame and persecution? Have you seen examples of this in your own experience? What actions might show that a Christian is ashamed of Jesus? What actions might show that a Christian is unashamed of Jesus? Some people don't belief that He was the Son of God. They think He was only a prophet. Others would say, He didn't even speak up for Himself or save Himself. I even had someone say how can you follow such a person that His own people didn't like Him. Being humble is very hard. We got to practice it on a daily basis, and also remember Christ was humble is even when He was beaten and crucified. Following Christ is not easy but the Holy Spirit guides you and strengthen you. We must have total faith in Jesus Christ in order to stand against those who don't believe. In some countries Christians are being persecuted everyday for following Jesus. In my walk with Christ, I have faith, belief, trust and love believing Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God. When He comes into your life, good things begin to happen in your life. There is no way that you can keep the Good News to yourself. Also you must be prepared to give an answer to why you belief in Him. The Holy Bible and your life gives you all the answers you need to give an answer to others. People who are ashamed of Christ would not acknowledge Him as being the Christ. Some so-called Christians even avoid speaking His name around others. Christians who are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ will proudly stand and boast about the goodness, grace and mercy that the Lord has given us. When you go through a total change in your life from living a sinful life to living for Christ, there is no way you would ever think about being ashamed. Instead you would be standing on the Word.
  25. Q1. How is the meaning of Jesus' name linked to his mission? What is his mission? How did he fulfill this mission? How did he fulfill his mission in your life? Jesus name in Hebrew means Yahweh saves, deliver, give victory, help. His mission was to save his people from sin by destroying the power of sin. Being born the Savior of His people, Jesus Christ lived among His people as a human. He was fully man and fully God. Jesus fulfill this mission by dying on the cross to save us for on damnation. Jesus fulfill His mission in my life, by coming into my life and saving me from the sinful life I was living.
