  1. They had made an idol and worshipped it He was angry because Hewas justified to be so. and since he is a just God He cannot afford to overlook sin . Yes his sentence was justified but He overlooked it because of moses's prayer of intersession and being a loving God he is, He overlooked their sin and forgave the israelites
  2. Q3. (Matthew 26:53) Why did Jesus not call on the heavenly host in the Garden of Gethsemane? What happens when does he does call on the heavenly hosts? (Revelation 19:11-16) He did not call the Heavenly hosts at the garden of gethsemane be cause the lords army was not needed at that time. He had to under go all that torture ,torment & shame so that he could purchase us ( mankind) & redeem us by His Blood. Hence the meaning of salvation.(1 Peter 3:18; John 1:29) In the end He emerged The victor and made a public spectacle of them. when he calls on the Heavenly Hosts they will come to fight with him the battle for judgement that will mean the end of the unrighteos and evil and sin.
  3. Q2. (2 Kings 6:13-17) Why was Elisha's servant afraid? What was the difference between Elisha and his servant? What does it take for our eyes to be opened? How can 1 John 4:4 strengthen you in your spiritual battle? Elishas servant was afraid because he only saw the physical aspect in other words what is seen only. He did not have faith in God as Elisha did. if he could be having a stronger faith He Could have seen the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha" (2 Kings 6:15-17). (Without elisha praying for him so that God could open His eyes for him to see) and hence he would be bold for he would have known the battle was not his but the Lord's. The Diffrence between Him and Elisha was that Elisha walked well with God and He had faith that God would deliver Him from His enemies, that faith opened His eyes and made him see the Great army of the Lord of Hosts Hence He was not terrified. Having faith in God helps us to have our eyes opened for the bible tells us that faith is the substance for things which are not seen. 1john 4:4 It strenghtens me by giving me assuarance in that it Helps me to understand that God is inside of me & with me ,so my battles are no longer mine alone but God's and He will fight for me for He is the Lord of Hosts.
  4. Q1. (Joshua 5:13-15) Why did the Commander say he was on neither side? What is the significance of this? What did Joshua feel like during this encounter? How did he feel after this encounter? The challenger said that He was on neither side because He was the one superior not they so He couldnt support them they were the ones to follow Him,In life we tend to try to make up or own rules then we try to bring God to side with us instead of siding with God from the word go and waiting for His perfect will to be accomplished concerning our lives. The significance of this is that it opened Joshuas eyes so that He realised whom he was dealing with, The Mighty warrior (The Commander of the army of the YahweH .Who was the one in Authority not Him.Thats why He lay down prostrate face to the ground in reverence & worshipJoshua felt Awed and empowered By His Presence and after the encounter He Knew that With the lord on His side the Battle was won already.
