  1. Q1. (Joshua 5:13-15) Why did the Commander say he was on neither side? He was on one side only, God's side. He is the head person in charge of God's army. What is the significance of this? Once Joshua knew that the man he saw with his sword drawn, ready to battle was the captain of the army of the Lord (self Existent or eternal; Jehovah) Joshua knew this man, the head person in charge, was sent by Jehovah. Great significance indeed. What did Joshua feel like during this encounter? Joshua perceived that this person was divine, not a human, nor an angel, as he prostrated himself in worship, humbly asking in servitude," tell me what to do?" How did he feel after this encounter? He was full of "faith" ready to do battle.
  2. Q4. Meditate on the titles "King of Glory" Psa 24:7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Psa 24:8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.Psa 24:9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.Psa 24:10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah. and "Father of glory" Eph 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. What do they tell us about God? God, the eternal Lord, strong and mighty in battle, is Jehovah God, the God of Abraham. His glory is above all, the Lord of host is Yahweh, as seen in Isa 1:9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah. God is called Yahweh of hosts because He heads up all these armies, He is the host over all. He is the Father of glory, worthy to be praised and honored, He is our glorious Father God. The Father and God of our Lord Jesus Christ. How should they affect our attitudes as we worship God? Our worship should be seen in living a life of praise and honor unto God our Father, for He is worthy of our praise and adoration. According to 2 Corinthians 3:18, how does God's glory come to fill our lives? It is through the sweet Holy Spirit, our engagement ring from our Bridegroom, Who reminds us, Christ is coming back for a faithful bride
  3. [b]Q3. Meditate on the phrase "High and Lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy...." (Isaiah 57:15) What do you learn about god from this phrase? God is higher than anything! There is not enough praise we can give, not enough words to describe the One and only, perfect and holy, Almighty God. He is eternal, having no beginning and no end, He is from everlasting to everlasting. He dwells in heaven and He also is with those who are crushed and humble. He wants to renew the spirit of those who are humble. How should this affect your outlook on life, your way of conducting yourself? Understanding who God is has given to me a new outlook on life. Because He is high and lifted up, above all things, and because He is holy, it is important I take His Word seriously, hide it in my heart and meditate on it, for it is there I can understand what pleases Him, who is holy. When I do this, I am able to see how far I have fallen, my heart becomes crushed as I see how far away I have gone from not pleasing Him: And yet, He is there wanting to bring me up, and change this heart of mine. He who is holy wants to have fellowship with me. God, change those areas that do not please you and fill me with your holiness, so my praise for you, will be seen in my life. My love for Your Son is true, and I am thankful to You for giving Him to me as my Bridegroom, I want my life to show you holy One, how thankful I am for all you have done for me.
  4. Q2. Meditate on the title "Most High." What does it mean to you? There is no other God like Jehovah. He is all powerful, He sits on the throne and He is in control of all things. He created the heavens and the earth, and He created mankind. Because He is who He is, He demands His people to be a righteous people; He is a God of love and mercy, and a God of wrath. How do you or will you incorporate it in your worship? I worship God Almighty by being careful to keep His commandments, not because I have to, but because He wants me to, and I know they are for my good. It is a way for me to show Him, "I love Him." I worship Him by staying in Faith, trusting in the work Christ did for me on the cross, for it is because of God Almighty and His love for me that He sent His Son to reconcile me to Him who sits on the throne. I worship Him by loving the Son, my Bridegroom and being a faithful bride to Him, the Son, and that pleases the Father greatly, a sweet savor up to Him.
  5. Thank you for sharing the Jewish Psalm, it is a beautiful description of God, the God Jesus reconciled us to.
  6. Q1. (Genesis 14:19, 20, 22) What did Abraham and Melchizedek seem to believe in common about God Most High? He is the Eternal God, the highest, the strongest, the most powerful God. He is the creator of heaven and earth. He is the Supreme God of Abraham and Melchizedek, God Most High of the Hebrew people ,
