I have been a Christian for many years and am actively serving in my home church. Have been a christian since 2001 and feel that I do not know enough of God's word to be able to offer scripture when someone needs it. Hopefully this is the beginning of stocking up on God's word to use as warfare against satan!I'm from Kentucky, I'm married and have one son who is currently in the marines and am expecting my first grandchild. I'm Baptist, Presbyterian,Methodist, Pentecostal and Apostlic because these are all movements in God. Therefore I embodied all of these because this is what My Father is "For My Father and I are one". I'm new to online Bible Study. I need to focus more on the "reason for the season" and not so much the commercialism of Christmas. Christ is the One who is the true gift this season. I have been happily married for 37 years to a wonderful Godly man and have two children, still waiting for grandchildren. I was born again 28 years ago and have never been the same since. I'm the director of the study, Ralph F. Wilson. I'm the Ministry Development Pastor at Community Covenant Church, Rocklin, California. I have been developing online Bible studies since 1996. Greetings to You Pastor Ralph, and to all who may read this, Peace to all, and Blessings in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am very much looking forward to taking a fresh approach to studying the word with all of you, especially a timely Bible Study such as this. Grew up connected with church from childhood baptism through to confirmation at 14 but from 16 to 26 walked pretty much in the opposite direction... certainly explored various cultures and religions. That is probably the only time you will ever see "hail" and "Arizona" in the same sentence. I've been a Christian most of my life, but didn't have a real relationship with Christ until about 6 years ago. I occassionally teach adult studies at my church and was intrigued to find this fully online study. What a great way to connect to the multitudes and to get God's Words out. Looking forward to seeing what this is all about. At the time of my joining, the study of "Great Prayers of Bible" is just getting underway. Shoudl be interesting. I pray God will bless the facilitator as he leads us through the Bible, and that our comments on the forums will be uplifting and life-changing.
