Q1. (Matthew 5:27-30; Exodus 20:17) What is the point of similarity between adultery and lus+? What is the difference? How does lus+ break the Tenth Commandment?

Adultery and **** are the same, adultery follows ****.

One is the act of doing the other is the act of thinking.

The act of thinking about starts in your head but it hurts the heart.

Q1. (Matthew 5:27-30; Exodus 20:17) What is the point of similarity between adultery and lus+? What is the difference?  Adultery is sex outside of marriage. **** is the desire for the person that is not your spouse. The difference is that adultery is considered a sin, whereas **** is just the thought while adultery is the act of sex with someone who isn't your spouse.  However Jesus does say that if you **** after someone while married, you are committing adultery in your heart

How does lus+ break the Tenth Commandment? The Tenth Commandment, "thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife" is basically saying don't desire, or take sexual pleasure in someone that isn't your wife.  Lus+, if defined according to Hebrew translation, is the same as covet, and if a man lusted after someone that wasn't his wife, he is essentially breaking the commandment. I imagine that for man, it would be hard to stay in the clear on this one since his natural desires for women would likely create many close calls of coveting women he cannot and should not have.

1.1 What is the point of similarity between adultery and ****?

The similarity is that both are trying to fulfil a desire to have something that is not yours. Both are "deeds" committed, of the same thing, one physically and one mentally.

1.2 What is the difference?

Adultery is the deed itself and **** can lead to the action. **** is an unhealthy desire for someone or having power over someone. Adultery is fulfilling that dedire.

1.3 How does **** break the 10th commandment?

**** breaks the 10th commandment because it is coveting/wanting/desiring something/someone  that belongs to someone else.
