By fellowshipping with them through the Word.Obey his teaching. The Holy Sprit lives in us as.....As God does in his Temple The Holy Spirit affects everything,He gives me the the boldness, the spiritual power to use his name, and the righteousness of God.
  3. That we are motivated and moved by an unseen but powerful force beyond themselves, he directs us in this world.
  4. To be born of water and Spirit, the water washes your sin away to be born Spiritually new, washed clean white as snow, so now the Spirit now lives in you. I come to that conclusion because that is what happened to me. I once was dead now I am alive.
  5. No,I do not think he was yet born of the Spirit, but he was eager to learn. The 2nd birth is born into the kingdom of God, the Spirit dwells in you, you are washed clean. The 1st birth is into this world of sin and I think like Nicodemus there is a real need people feel to know more about God that will lead them to God.
  6. Jesus invite's everyone and anyone to drink. Streams of living water will flow, they will never thirst again. It has opened my eyes really seeJesus, to come to understand his Word, to see the living waters.

  9. The bible points to the fact that Holy Spirit is a person The Holy Spirit appoints missionaries (Acts 13:2; 20:28), He leads and directs workers in their ministry (Acts 8:29; 10:19-20; 16:6-7; 1 Corinthians 2:13), He speaks through the prophets (Acts 1:16; 1 Peter 1:11-12; 2 Peter 1:21), He corrects (John 16:8), He comforts (Acts 9:31), He helps us in our infirmities (Romans 8:26), He teaches (John 14:26; 1 Corinthians 12:3), He guides (John 16:13), He sanctifies (Romans 15:16; 1 Corinthians 6:11), He testifies of Christ (John 15:26), He glorifies Christ (John 16:14), He empowers (Romans 15:13), He searches all things (Romans 11:33-34; 1 Corinthians 2:10-11), He works according to his own will (1 Corinthians 12:11), He dwells with saints (John 14:17), He can be grieved (Ephesians 4:30), He can be resisted (Acts 7:51), and He can be tempted (Acts 5:9) I think it is the world we live in that people call the Holy Spirit "it" rather then him, not sure if it's just laziness or not to"offend" anyone.
  10. To tell of something or someone you know to be the truth. The Spirit tells the world the Truth, the Life and the Way. Yes, Jesus Is Lord, my Hope my ever present help in trouble. Yes they were the first because Jesus breathed the Holy Spirit on them, it wasn't till after Jesus's resurrection that they received. But they saw first hand living with Jesus the spirit within.
  11. The Holy Spirit will always be with them where ever they go. Jesus was the initial Paraclete, when he walked with them he taught them lead them in the way they should go. The Holy Spirit leads us, teaches us gives us direction and comforts us. Jesus was with them in human form, walked with them showed them who God was. When the Holy Spirit comes upon them.
  12. The Father send's the Holy Spirit through Jesus. Yes it does matter, we need Jesus to receive the Holy Spirit through God.
  13. Jesus did miracles by the means of the Holy Spirit upon him. It is important because we also have the power of the Holy Spirit upon us to do the work of Jesus, that we may continue his work. He showed us how to serve others, everything he did on this earth he showed that we must also do through the Holy Spirit.
  14. That he is One with his Father and apart from him he can do nothing. Jesus had to "empty himself" so that he could be just like us, to hurt, to feel loss, he had to face temptations of all kinds just as we do.
  15. When Jesus was conceived as God as his father and Mary as his Mother. God's voice when Jesus is baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit. Primary identity as children of God, comes through being born by the Holy Spirit.
  16. That he will pour out his spirit on his people, and fulfill his wondrous promises. All who call on the name of the Lord.
  17. The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him -- the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.
  18. The spirit. They prophesied and help Mosses carry the burden. So they all would follow God and have that relationship.
  19. To change the person's way of thinking, to change that person's life for God, so that God ca work through that person. It draw's them closer to God, to have a better relationship with them.
  20. Yes he does. To be a true Christian one must believe and obey. Salvation is a precious gift not by anything we do or did but by what Jesus did, it requires obedience.
  21. We must do what the Word say's not what people are saying, we have to do the word not just hear it. There is power in the name of Jesus.
  22. NOT ALWAYS SHOWING THE LOVE OF CHRIST, PRAYING ON THINGS INSTEAD OF JUST REACTING AND SAYING THINGS YOU SHOULD NOT. GREED, TALKING ABOUT people.
  23. To live my life according to the Word, to obey the Word, lead by example, to share Christ love that they to will live. I do not accept Universalism, Jesus is the Way,theTruth and the Life..
  24. Always treat everyone you meet the way you would like to be treated. That we should Love with a great Love. We should Love our God First with everything we are.
